  • Jojo tackles the toughest task on this project to date when he sets out to rebuild the top end of the mighty CT70 engine. It’s was all going well until he realized he accidentally turned his microphone on mute, and his masterpiece had no audio….. He gets the top end all but buttoned up, but can he get the compression high enough for the engine to run? Tune in as we ‘round the bend on this HOSS of a project…spring is nearly here and we need our hawgs to crank!

Dude just because "it isn't NASCAR" doesn't mean you can't properly gap the rings or lap the valves. Both of those WILL affect your compression.

That so called mini bike has more tech in that engine than any NASCAR power plant.

Indeed!!! It’s a fantastic design, and the quality of the original parts is second to none

I really appreciate the video. I do however worry that the bit of long helicoil sticking out could become a hotspot and cause detonation.

I ended up cutting the helicoil flush with a die grinder…I didn’t show it on film however. Thanks for tuning in!

Nice work. Did you get the other small o-ring installed opposite the large one on the base gasket?

Funny you should ask…after I got all done, I looked down and there it was…so cracked the book, found out where it went and did it all over again…oh well!!! 😂. Thanks for watching!!!

@@Jojoandsonsgarage good deal. Glad you caught it so you didn't have to deal with the massive oil leak.
