Xerox made the first GUI, but they didn't know what to do with it, but Jobs looked at it and did know how to change the industry. Before the iPod, there were already a lot of MP3 players, but not one really stand up and was a very niche market. Apple did make a unit that hold a lot of songs and made an online store where you can download a lot of music legaly and for an affordable price. Apple did not invent the smartphone, but the iPhone got a lot of things right from the start and revolutionated the phone industry. While I have used both systems, I have tried apple products, but I usually prefer the competition (I have a Dell laptop with Win 10 and a Moto Z for a phone).
$1500 for watching videos and playing games? I could get a cheap Android phone for $10 for that (which is better then the iPad) or a cheap Android tablet for $20-$40.
But when comparing both devices at 350 dollar budget it is interesting to see all the lags in OneNote on the surface go 2 whereas my ipad (7th gen) from 2019 doesnt have any problems at all. As they are about the same price and both mobile devices it just fair to compare the batteries aswell: my (almost 2 year old) ipad lasts about twice as long as my (new) surface go 2 while surfing the internet, taking notes and watching videos. The first part of the comparision is about how the devices perform at microsoft applications, now lets try and see how some creative (music-producing) apps run on both devices. Oh wait…. Most of them only run on apple💀
Remember that microsoft cannot even run their own applications (oneNote) on their 350 dollar device (surface go2) without lagging whereas iPads do not have this problem

Both of those times being on the same 10 year old laptop that I bought from my neighbors for $40 at one point. I haven't ever gotten a blue screen even on my 11+ year old desktop (which I of course don't use anymore, but it still proves my point).

Now compare these 350 dollar (without accessories) devices to 350 dollar iPad. Well i did that because i had a 7th gen iPad from 2019 before my school gave us microsoft devices and o have never had any problems with my iPad. I guess it is worthy mentioning my 2 year old iPads battery lasts about twice as long as the new sufaces battery

Of Course it wasn't their original idea ( I don't remember the original phone name but it wasn't notable), but they do what they do with every other cool product, They Make It Better. They don't "steal" ideas they, see the development behind it and try to produce and manufacture something similar but they do it with care. Apple isn't the only one who took a similar idea from some other device. Microsoft did it Years Ago, .... back in 1978 Bill Gates bought an Apple 2, and was impressed with the model, so he open the case up tore out the parts, and created a similar ( internal wise not external or software- based) Microsoft product called the Z-80 Soft card... and was basically spelled For the Apple 2. So you may be wondering why I'm defending Apple so much.... well I love the late great Steve Jobs, and I have watched an assortment of documentaries upon him and his company, and I am just so driven and obsessed with the company that It's definitely my favorite.
Even if Apple didn't invent much, they did revolutionate the industry. Xerox made the first GUI, but they didn't know what to do with it, but Jobs looked at it and did know how to change the industry. Before the iPod, there were already a lot of MP3 players, but not one really stand up and was a very niche market. Apple did make a unit that hold a lot of songs and made an online store where you can download a lot of music legaly and for an affordable price. Apple did not invent the smartphone, but the iPhone got a lot of things right from the start and revolutionated the phone industry.
While I have used both systems, I have tried apple products, but I usually prefer the competition (I have a Dell laptop with Win 10 and a Moto Z for a phone).
That's not happening anymore. Other companies like Microsoft and Google are taking over Steve's loss.

But when comparing both devices at 350 dollar budget it is interesting to see all the lags in OneNote on the surface go 2 whereas my ipad (7th gen) from 2019 doesnt have any problems at all. As they are about the same price and both mobile devices it just fair to compare the batteries aswell: my (almost 2 year old) ipad lasts about twice as long as my (new) surface go 2 while surfing the internet, taking notes and watching videos. The first part of the comparision is about how the devices perform at microsoft applications, now lets try and see how some creative (music-producing) apps run on both devices. Oh wait…. Most of them only run on apple💀

Both of those times being on the same 10 year old laptop that I bought from my neighbors for $40 at one point. I haven't ever gotten a blue screen even on my 11+ year old desktop (which I of course don't use anymore, but it still proves my point).
