Kyle Edward Ball is interviewed by Patton Oswalt at the Ace Theater in DTLA, following a celebratory screening of his mind-bending, heart-wrenching, and ground-breaking debut feature, Skinamarink. I asked the first question in the Q&A, which starts halfway through the video! The Skinamarink Experience was held on February 2, 2023. It was hosted by Shudder, IFC Films, and Beyond Fest. The lobby was all decked out in the unholiness that is Skinamarink for the promotion of this incredible movie and there were a ton of really cool and fun photo ops! Kyle was an absolute gentleman to me when I opened up about my own endeavors to him and I can honestly say that he is as completely polite as he is completely talented. I heartily look forward to many, many more of his undoubtedly disturbing, haunting, and singular films.
