Gloria KNOWS that Tocha and Rocky did it and I'm under the impression that she got a cut (I don't care what no one says). She's a part of the reason why there is contention between Tamika and Tocha. The mother’s lack of guidance and concern for Tamika is the reason Tocha is the way she is with the group. She is UNACCOUNTABLE for everything. Tiny appears to be a cool level-headed person and is clearly the glue for the group.

She lied to her husband, too she said b/c she had to claim the money on her taxes but the balance kept looking crazy. He couldn't figure out why they were in the hole. She said she lied to protect Tocha. This might cause Tamika and her husband to fallout.

Gaslighting is a form of abuse and sadly Tamika has been dealing with this emotional abuse from her mother and sister all her life. Even more concerning is Tocha appears willfully oblivious to it all.
I believe she's a narcissist. She has an amazing voice and I think she uses that knowledge to leverage relationships. There are blurred lines that she doesn't recognize. I truly believe she feels she is needed. In a "they can't do it without me" type of mindset.
As a fan, in hindsight, the group collectively and individually have did it... without her. Being the older sibling and eldest member of the group, I think she believes that makes her THEE person in power. It's crazy that she has the same issues with her sister inside and outside of the group.
Humility is a weakness to her. I don't believe she sees any wrong in her actions. Her mother either. 😔

I keep asking myself why does this resonate with so many of us to the point of speaking on it, even myself. Then I find the answer. We want them to heal, we want them to resolve this, we want them to continue sharing their beautiful God given gifts as Xscape, but when a person is not healed within, they can't see themselves completely or the harm they are causing themselves and those around them.
In my opinion, LaTosha's has a vibe of unhappiness and low energy. And, I think it stems from her relationship with her Mom. Her mother may have leaned on LaTosha and placed her in a position as her friend from the time their father left because she was the oldest. And, Im sure she played a major support for her Mom. Hence their dysfunctional bond. We all know that being a single parent is not easy, but children cant fill that void of a helpmate. From what I see, this is the dynamic between LaTosha and her Mom. That issue of their dysfunctional relationship leads to their Mom playing LaTosha and Tamika against one another. This is the second issue.
As one of you indicated, Tamkia said it has been this way all of her life. They need therapy to heal the hurt that each one of them is feeling. Tamika recognizes hers, LaTosha still remembers the words that had a negative effect on her, like being called the "big girl". You can see it in her face how those opinions of others are still being internalized by her to this day. To compensate for the so called "lack of control" on how people viewed her size and potentially other low self estem views she has of herself, she chose/chooses to try and control her sister and their group mates. She seeks validation from her Mom and Rocky when she knows that she is not in the right, and in essence, they take advantage of her. Almost like they are her handlers.
She is allowing them to hurt and manipulate her and as a result of her hurt, she can't see anybody else's, or the hurt she has caused to the group, her sister and Kandi. She displays a lack of emotional intelligence, comes off as cold, complaining, aloof, and selfish.
Hurt people hurt people.

Latocha has a beautiful voice and her sister Tamika sings just as well. I don't know all the details as some people feel these scenes are staged to promote their solo projects. Sadly, Latocha will lose many fans whose only interest is in R&B singing with Escape😮
I agree with your statement wholeheartedly. It's obvious to is viewers that Latocha is the mother's golden child and Tameka is the punching bag. I know this all too well because I've experienced this with my own family. This is why Latocha"s solo career is where it is and why she's NOT WINNING!! I am glad the niece was not put in the middle of the argument and stayed quiet which shows deep respect and maturity. The mother is the root of the problem. Tocha gaslights her sister based off the pact she and the mother have against Tamika. Notice how Tocha barely acknowledged Tamika at the meeting and gave the cold shoulder but at Moms house it’s all about family and trying to hug in front of the mom. That’s when I knew the milk isn’t clean. Tamika protect your sanity and peace at all cost.

I always noticed that there was a weird division between them as sisters and I never knew why. It's deeper than just the music or industry like people believe it is. There are so many mother's who DO NOT hold any accountability for the hurtful things that they do to their daughters. I think there needs to be serious therapy to fix this. I hate seeing families divided even my own family. Any time a person says "cut the cameras off" it's definitely NOT scripted.

These women are TV gold - there is a relatability, authenticity, and rawness that just can't be compared! I will enjoy it - because I know it is temporary, although I wish it wasn't. The only thing I would hope to see change - is more screen time for SWV. I think thus far, we've gotten a great deal of information about XSCAPE's worlds - but we still need to catch up with SWV and what they have going on internally, familial, and etc.

They’ll do you dirty when it benefits them, take no responsibility for it and expect you to get over it and just forgive them/respect them because their your parents. This is a very toxic way of thinking and the reason why so many of us have long standing issues with our parents. They still won’t take responsibility and admit they were wrong.
