  • The best way to fix a flat tire is to never get one! We were amazed and think you will be too watching Rick Percy from Multi Seal drive a spike into a tire over and over only to have the puncture seal up in a second! So if you have tractors, mowers, trailers, 4x4's, UTV's or ATV's, watch this! Because if you're like us, you're finding flats all the time and the project that was going to take you just an hour, now is delayed for days until you can repair or replace your tire. With Multi Seal, you're not even going to know when your tire should be flat, because it won't be!

    Good Works Tractors is happy to be sponsored by Rim Guard Solutions! This is perhaps the most well-known ballast brand on the market today. Rim Guard goes right inside your tires, so it's out of the way, it doesn't freeze, and doesn't corrode. It's made from natural materials, so it's safe around livestock and pets if it spills out. Rim Guard liquid ballast adds more weight to the back side of your tractor improving stability, loader performance, and power to the ground. Find your closest dealer at bit.ly/3d0whX0

    This product is the best on the market. Rick came to our equipment rental store 20 plus years ago and convinced my tire tech of 30 years. He was more than skeptical before Rick drove a spike thru a rear tire on one of our backhoes. It sealed the tire and we have been using the hd2500 since. This has saved us thousands of dollars over the years.

    I can vouch for this product. We have been selling it at our dealership for as long as I've been there (8 years). It's hands down the best tire sealant you can buy. I put it in my lawn mower tires one year because I had to air up the tires every week. Well after putting MultiSeal in the tires, I didn't add any air for the next 4 years 🤯

    Neat stuff. I will dispute one thing, and that's the hole size it'll fix. It will not fix a 3/4" hole in a tire. It will fix a puncture caused by a 3/4" object. If you take a 3/4" hole saw and drill a hole in your tire, it's not going to fix it. But because tires are elastic by nature, that 3/4" puncture will close up to a much smaller hole that the Multi Seal can fix. Regardless, I think I'm going to order some for my zero turn mower. I've already had to plug two of them from screws and nails that seem to be everywhere from the previous property owner.

    I've always used the product Liquitube (also sold under the Kubota brand) that does this. It has the Kevlar fibers, as well. It acts as a bead sealer, puncture sealer, and is absolutely amazing. As far as slow speed equipment goes these kind of products are great. However anything that goes above 30 miles an hour if it has water inside the tire the water gets hot with friction. And it can create other problems from the heat. Especially I would not recommend it on a motorcycle tire. But I would not recommend it on a car tire or a trailer that travels 50 plus miles an hour because the heat can create a blowout also

      The only missing question. This for tubeless only? Or both?

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  ปีที่แล้ว

      Here’s what their website says…
      We claim lower effectiveness on tubed tires for several reasons:
      In many cases, the tubes are very thin and cheaply made. This can lead to the tubes ripping when punctured which makes them very difficult to seal.
      We also see a lot of tubes that are not properly sized for the tire - either too big or too small. This can also lead to ineffective sealing due to the movement of the tube in the tire or ripping

    • @scrhino40
      @scrhino40 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GoodWorksTractors if the sealant works as good as it claims. I will take tubes out and go back to tubeless. My problem was leaking around the bead on 2 skid steer tires and a 3 one was a small hole in it from a nail.

    Does it work on tube tires ????/ After having to air up my tire for years ( four years plus ) I used the Flat Out years back on my tubeless forklift...16 X 28 tires.About 5 1/2 foot tall. and about 3 foot wide...I did not even use that much and it worked fine. Later the other tire started leaking on the side wall and to my shock it fixed that one also....WOW ! Saved $1200.00 for the tires plus install $200 -$300 .

    Would definitely like to see what the inside of the rim looks like after a few years. Does it begin to rust like Fix-A-Flat?
    Because if you end up having to replace the rim due to rust you would need to factor this in. The value would be there for most but I'm not so sure on large tractor rims of course it would take a lot more rust to decommission such a strong wheel.

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They've been around for 41 years and have proven the product out fully. This product doesn't rust at all, in fact it has an anti-corrosion formula. Below is info from their FAQ page addressing your concern.
      MULTI SEAL® contains a powerful anti-corrosion formula specifically designed to prevent rust and corrosion on all types of rims - steel, aluminum, painted or unpainted, coated or uncoated, as well as protecting the valve stem fitting. MULTI SEAL® will NOT fix an already rusty or corroded rim - no sealant will. Prior to installing MULTI SEAL®, make sure that the rim is free of corrosion or rust. A corroded rim is an unsafe rim. Beware of any sealant that claims to remove rust or fix damaged inner liners.

      Good question. Here’s a snippet from their website. Based on this, I would say no.
      MULTI SEAL® stops underinflation due to slow leaks, seals punctures in the sidewall, stops pinhole leaks in the rim, prevents corrosion, and extends the life of your tires while providing a safer driving experience.
