The new update came out today for battlefield. I did all of this after the update installed. (performance patch) It seems as if these options made my fps even worse. I have a core i7 8th gen and RTX 2070. It played decent before the update with most settings on high and some on ultra. Little hiccups and ran around 55-75fps in 1440p. now it's WILDLY different. Ranges from 30-68fps. It's a mess. stuttering, input lag, and aiming seems far off. Other games were affected as well.

You shouldn't encourage to disable hardware acceleration on discord. It really depends where your bottleneck is. Since BFV sucks all juice from medium end or old high end cpus, its better to leave hardware acceleration on. I've tested this, If your cpu is already on 90% to 100% usage while playing (wich most of the times means that the graphic card is not being fully use) you are far better with hardware accelaration enabled. You will loose fps if you disable it since it will remove load from the gpu and put that load on the cpu instead.

You know what this ACTUALLY works, the game isn't perfect but it's SMOOTH ASF and really is less laggy, only problem is you have to downgrade visuals but that's it

Olus Aimer There is one thing that can help or I think it can. Go to origin and Battlefield and go to the settings of bf in origin ofc and press repair game . It might take a while but it might also help you
Rossi a program called msi afterburner, when you download it it comes with an option to install ‘Riva tuna statistics’ or something like that then click install then just open riva tuna stats like it’s a different program then just play around with the settings then you’re done! Have a nice day

My MSI GV62 8RE (GeForce GTX 1060) is getting too much heat after these settings. I usually got CPU 70 degrees but now I have CPU 90 degrees. My fps did go from 60 to 110. I already place books under my laptop to make sure it gets enough airflow. Does anyone else have any good recommendations?

Is there a way U can put this in the config file or in the .reg file like u added in ur download-config files? Told my buddy to do this and even he got more fps ! Keep up the great work !! i have an 1050 4gb in a laptop after this, firestorm was super smooth constantly 60 fps but in the normal multiplayer it is super laggy. can you maybe make a new one for bfv.

@@aLikeSupreme i deleted the files in the settings folder and the user.cfg file in the games directory. After that validate your game files through origin and it should fix it.
you need to run it as admin , also no need to download from his pack just type exactly as you see it in the video spaces and all in command prompt ( run as admin )
