Hi, thank you for the video. What is the name of the pension plan in German that that parents decide for kids when to access? How do we find that? Thank you in advance.

Very good content. I have opened a regular investment accounts for my two children when they were born two years ago. Since I found out the tax is 25% on capital gains and plus 3% maintenance fees for the brokers, I have been looking into etf pensions. In about a week all our investment accounts will be converted to etf pensions to reduce taxes. In the US we have Roth IRA for the retirement accounts that’s completely tax free and unfortunately Germany seems to have nothing close to that.

Yeah I have been looking for to invest in EU for pension like in US or Canada were you have tax free without going to Allianze or other brokers since you don’t know what happens with these private companies. How we can invest in ETF pension though?

@@sizitisis I think you can do it with your bank. For instance VR bank or Sparkasse.

Germany has ETF pensions that are extremely similar to the US. You can watch our video about IRAs in Germany here: th-cam.com/video/3ezIZg2hZOo/w-d-xo.html
