Let's assume a $100 million salary cap. I think it should adjust for each team based on income tax. No income tax? $100 million cap. 30% income tax? $130million cap.
@0metalic0 When they play away games they get taxed for the city they play in? My bad, I thought they only get taxed based on the location of their team. Personally, to keep it simple, I just wanted to account for the taxes of where the player's team is located.
@0metalic0 Nah that's not realistic. It's also not tangible, how do you equate weather to a dollar value? At least with income tax you have a tangible target. People will pick places with cold climates if 1) they can still take home more of their salary & 2) the team is a contender. If there was a cold weather market with 0 income tax, it would be a destination still. Especially if they're good.
I’m really happy to say I don’t know a single person that lives in California. With that said, sending best wishes to the people throughout LA… I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.
Why does Walsh feel the need to inject himself into a savior or hero role in these stories? Your neighbor did not text you asking you. What do I do? What do I do nobody does that you're not that special. The you did not call the game off in l.A when the player texted you and said there is smoke in the rinc. Why would you say get out of there?Obviously that's being handled by someone else
So you think a family that loses a baby to cancer did something wrong so God decided to kill a kid to punish the parents. Did the people who were run over in New Orleans do something to deserve their fate? When the shooter in Las Vegas killed all those Country music fans at the concert was it because they were in " Sin City" and drove God to vengeance? Do you really think like that? How sad.
If you want to skip the yap session, the real reasons agents dont like deferred payments is their cut of the contract is also deferred. Simple as that. From a fans perspective, I love it. Anaheim/Vatrano were very competitive in that contract, regardless of their current standings. Almost 1.5M AAV a year deferred. Imagine you applied that to say Draisaitl, going from 14 to 12.5M AAV would be awesome to see as an Oilers fan.
The CBA being a mic stand is just pure comedy. Glad you are ok Allan!
So glad you and your family are safe
So excited for the live show in my hometown
Let's gooooooo

If you want to factor in the tax brackets of every single away game, maybe.

While you're at it why not slap on a 20% bonus for forcing players to live in snow.
Cali and Florida's salary cap should be reduced for nice weather.

What about BC fires… I’m in west Kelowna and every other year I end up on evac alert at the very least
Yeah, it sucks. Not fun.

Hollywood should probably stop mocking God at every opportunity.
- Not even religious

Yeah why listen to the show when you can read a one-sentence synopsis that's not even right?
"Yap session" ? It's a podcast. What do you think people do on a podcast? Not talk?
Yap session about people losing their homes to devastating fires? I’m ashamed to know someone like you listens to this podcast
