I hope you all enjoy this months collection of goofs and bloopers from the 70's to the 90's TV and Movies. So many commented on the John Wayne truck movie goof I finally remembered to add it in. Let me know which blooper or goof was your favorite.
We have to remeber those were cheap shows (like Knight rider) made on a weekly basis with a short budget. No time to get it to an Oscar(r) winning level production. And we still don't care because all we cared for was being entertained. And it worked. Still does though.
What’s really hilarious is in the TJ Hooker scene King of the Hill, notice in the freeze frame the giant sign on the building that reads , LIVE GIRLS TOTALLY NUDE ON STAGE !! I’m surprised Shawnee didn’t stop...
Also notice in some of the Knight Ryder episodes in the jump scenes you can see daylight thru KITT? Especially in the White Bird scene and jumping the bull. Always love the Happy Days and Galactica bloopers! Great episode!
In the Knight Rider scenes where you could sometimes see a person, it was called the blind drive. The person would sit in a specially designed seat that was covered, but you could sometimes see a hand moving. There was also a right side blind drive, which consisted of a steering wheel and a set of pedals connected to the ones on the left. This was how they created the illusion of the car driving itself. And yes, they did damage a lot of the cars doing stunts. In the scene you mentioned about KITTs nose wobbling, that was actually a VW powered dune buggy type vehicle with a rubber mold of the Trans Am over it. It was known as the flivver car. I saw another goof in an episode. Michael is seen entering KITT and starting the engine. Here’s the goof. You see a shot of the transmission. Michael shifts to Reverse, but in the next scene, KITT is going forward. In the next scene, Michael shifts to Drive, but in the scene after that, KITT is going backward. Bad splicing!!
Dang. TJ hooker and Knight Rider brought a full load of nostalgia. I'm french and grew up with some of your tv shows and that was my dreamland america. All those '78 Monaco's with the Aerodynic lightbars, all those landyacht cars. An America that dopesn't exist anymore. This is so sad.
Thank you! Thanks for the mountains of research, and compiling it so we could share in the memories, fun and laughter! Shoes like Battlestar Galactica, Magnum P.I., Knight Rider, Family Ties and Home Improvement, really were GREAT shows, and I am going to watch them again, and see if they'll be appropriate for our 8 yr old. I think our 12.5 yr, and I are going to be laughing, and enjoying the shows. Y'know these are just such fantastic show choices, you made my day! I'm caring for a kid home with strep(the 12 yr old). You're a guy after my own heart, gunna subscribe! Hope you, and those you love, are doing well 🙂
Well, I guess I'm gonna have to re-watch some Knight Rider episodes now. These were great by the way, you ALWAYS seem to come up with some real doozies and these were def it!!
25:56 It's not "normally" posted in helicopters, but it applies to this specific helicopter. If it was a normal thing, they would have a real placard, not some label maker tape. For whatever reason, this particular helicopter cannot perform simulated engine failures from the right seat. By the way, the pilot of a helicopter sits on the right, so this label basically states the pilot flying cannot simulate an engine failure. It has to be by whomever is sitting in the left seat.
FYI, Tonsils can grow back (medically called fangs or fang if only a single regrowth). My mom said she had them removed twice. When I was in my Senior Year of High School after many too many tonsillitis infection, my family doctor wanted to perform a tonsillectomy before I left town for college. I declined, not feeling I’ll. My new doctor who I met gave an initial check up, in which he inquired when did I have my tonsils removed. I related the last visit. He broke out laughing said there’s nothing to remove, and you wore them out. All your former doctor would need to do was give you a general stick his finger down your throat to make it sore, and send you a bill. I remembered My former doctor’s son had totaled his pickup and camper (he was unhurt) recently before my last appointment…
If they would have been able to to keep that "Emily" line in it would have made the series final even more hilarious. Thing from the Adams Family must have been an uncredited extra on Knight Rider.
There was a show called Voyagers from I believe 1984. Starring the late Jon-Erik Hexum and Meeno Peluce. Would you happen to have any bloopers from that show? And also in that clip of Battlestar Galactica in the motorcycle scene. The two Galactica officers are in between the late Mickey Jones and the late Brion James. Great characters actors of the 70's 80's and 90's.
I plan on doing a video on Voyagers at some point. That was a great show. I will be looking for bloopers and goofs for that show. Never know what I may find.
I recall an episode of night rider where kit drives around a corner: the empty drivers seat is suddenly fitted with a very large backrest. And I think kit made a cameo in airwolf (maybe the first episode) where airwolfs weaponry is demonstrated. A car left on a hill in the desert is targeted and destroyed.
Well, I think speaking from my experiences making videos , they probably just said we got to go with whatever we got at some point. Perfection isn't really possible, but it is fun to go back and look and see the mistakes they left behind. Considering that these guys were top notch professionals at making tv shows though, I guess it still amazes me when I find goofs, but ,yeah they go by so fast too so that was a factor for sure.
Really. Not only to TV series, but to animation live action, and all of that. Until then new generation decade, it may have gone downhill from 2021 until now. Not all of them, but for some mid. I hope it won't continue until 2030. The agenda woke stuff, lgbtq+ stuff forcefully shoved in our throats. In Live Action Movies and TV series either animation or many more.
@@rodneyh7151 Yeah. Hopefully, not going on forever like a cult thing in 2040. If God allows us to continue living, for kids and adult shows like Disney, Netflix, Dreamworks, Illumination, Paramount Movies; Plus, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, PBS Kids, BBC Kids. And so much more not only in this country, but possible in other countries. For Qubo, I don't know except it may have ended in 2017 for unknown reasons. But yeah, that's it and I hope you have a normal day. Good day, sir, and Peace. ✌️✊👍👌
At 39 minutes you finally let the big secret out of the bag. When viewed on any display sold since 2000, 99% of these "blunders" are visible. However if you were to watch most of these shows on any tv built before 1990, you wouldn't even know that some of these were goofs.
The Knight Rider episodes stunt fails could've been easily solved with a periscope !....It could've easily been made to look a piece of equipment mounted to the dash .
@favoritemustard3542 Why not? Joe and AJ know their stuff. Heck, I'm in a few videos, I'm helping restore the season 3/4 semi and the 1 trailer used throughout all 4 seasons
I'm trying to decide if you've ruined Knight Rider for me. On the one hand, they did really well with their stunts considering that neither self-driving cars nor CGI existed (and they hid hands so well that a fan like myself never caught on). On the other hand, you've kind of ruined my love for and infatuation of KITT (I was smitten with him more than with David Hasselhoff even though I thought DH was gorgeous).
The worst goof I ever saw was in an episode on Daniel Boone. Mingo got speared right through he heart, He went down and then got up and ran a marathon after the baddies
@@tvcrazyman lol, I watch way too much tv the way it is! We found something odd happening in one of the current shows we watch and now it escapes me if I remember it, I’ll leave a remark!
I had a hard time staying with this video because of the content that was selected to show your viewers. I didn't watch most of those shows in the 1980s, when I was still in my 30s, because, after becoming generally aware of them through various media exposures/sources, or through family and peer influences, they appeared corny and lacking depth in the plots and character developments. The show clips in this video seemed like mindless action affairs without intelligent and interesting plots, or fully-developed characters, thus making it, I would think, a challenge for many TV viewers to gain interest in or even initially connect to them, (especially) when there weren't engaging and inspirational plots, characters and/or themes. Silly action movies, annoying sci-fi stuff and dumbed-down sitcoms, collectively, as represented through the clips presented here, seemed to have offered little more than a limited, narrow content focus. The "Knight Rider" clip went on for 14+ minutes, and it's a ridiculous program about a talking car! Weren't there other, (more) interesting shows in the 1980s that would have offered a little more intelligent stimulation for your viewers, as well as for those who were watching them firsthand back then? Overall, I found this video lacked both sustenance and any compelling reasons to keep watching it.
Lots of memories.
Lol😂😂😂😂😂😂Love those 'mysterious hands' and faces appearing in "Knight Rider" ❤
Jonny Carson did a skit I keep thinking of while watching your shows. "Believe it or stuff it".

I have seen that movie, in the past, and never noticed the truck until now.😮😂
My dad was watching High Chaparral and saw a jet contrail in the sky. Giggle.

Original Battlestar was awesome.
oh Frak !!!
Great goofs from many great programs 😀
31:40 - there have been cases where tonsils grew back, got inflamed again, and had to be removed again.
@26:18 It loks like a '78 Moncao there. Dog dish hubcap and the rectangular tail lights.
😂 Love your clips and your comments. It's fun to see the production secrets and goofs. Thanks for posting these.
Thanks

When you are talking about happy days at 35:25 look at the stage when you put both scenes together the stage steps are turned the other way

Wondering where the driver in Kitt would have know which way to drive?😮🤔
