Ben and Luka setup for a second game, continuing their conflict over the estate.
This time Luka goes with a more elite calvary list to matches Ben's already elite calvary based list.

Cows exist, but in accordance with GW law, they've spelled Khows to make the lawyers happy.

They eat a lot of strawberries! 🤣🤣 My boy does the same with raspberries. So expensive when they go through 2 or 3 flats a day.

Watch the new unit in the lumineth realm lords, they have mountain cows, so I think if you think about a cow having intercourse with a mountain, so there should be cows 😉
I'm sure one of the giant models has a cow you can attach to his belt.

Nicely painted Deepkin army, I really like that shade of purple on them! If their infantry were more viable I’d consider playing them (I like armies that do well with combined arms tactics)... now I’m thinking on waiting for Lumineth Realmlords before I get into Age of Sigmar.
Their infantry are very good at this point. Only 120 with GHB 2020. You can also replace the dead with a Soulrender. Lotann also buffs them a lot.

About the freshly painted model syndrome. It could be that a lot of the time freshly painted models are models you havent used before and you still need to adapt to how to use them. (Even though in you guys case that doesnt realy apply with how many different armies you have played)
Can someone clarify 2 things for me 1. I know there was an errata to the shipwrecks were you can now only take one instead of two is that true in 2021 yea or no. 2. I guess this is two questions in one the named king in deepkin ability can it be used on himself and can it be used multiple times on himself as long as it is high tide.

Enjoyed the batrep - but its disappointing to hear them only blame round 3 priority for dictating the outcome when there is so much more to it. Luka set himself up to lose this game by taking priority in round 2 when he should have given it away, and then his choices in that turn (bringing reserves, leaving his objective). Similarly the Deepkin player decided to leave his objective open on round 2 and could have paid for it. Those decisions are why it only came down to a turn 3 priority - but either player could have easily made obvious, smarter choices and not set themselves up to auto-lose based on priority.
Overall I enjoyed the batrep, and two great looking armies - it just grinds my gear when a game mechanic is blamed for the results of a lack in effort on a player's behalf.
Bad teams for the scenario - although secondary objectives make it better. But nice to see the deepkin 👍
Someone please elaborate on the: 'In 4th you ignore the Monolith' comment. I didn't know about this game back then. Thanks.
The monolith had the highiest armor value in the game (14), and he ignored stunned shaken results, And in addition you did not add additional dice because of Melta, MC or chainfists, and also lance weapons did not have an effect. Basicly Your best bet was to spam str. 9+ shots to penetrate it.

It's hard to see sometimes, but you can not pile in with models that are already in base contact to glide around bases. If you didn't, disregard. As i said, hard to see from the video :D
We set up terrain and then place objectives, so sometimes they get closer to it.
As for the piling in, yes you can pile in around even if you are in base contact. You must end the pile in move “at least as close as” you were before. If you were 0” away, you can pile in and be 0” away, which is “at least as close as” you were. In 40k this wouldn’t work as you must end closer.
@@miniwargaming Very understandable for the terrain, it's essentially how i've done it myself when preparing a table ahead of time. But i like to do it with the other guy as per pitched battle rules.
As for the pile in... Apparently i had it mixed up with older rules i've read somewhere. Apologies.

I have not watched alot of Age of Sigmar. I really miss warhammer fantasy, just more strategy involved.
Follow some more competitive batrep, you will find plenty more strategy in AoS than WHF
