Great review. The two major things I dislike about it so far is that it's so hard to carry around. Used to be able to throw my PS4 in a backpack if I needed to carry it to a homies spot, but with the PS5 I've never moved it 😂...then lastly something that I hope they change eventually is themes. I miss having personalized themes on the console and not just the generic game background they give us now. I've been lucky to avoid the controller drift so far (touch wood), but I did have an episode where my R2 button stopped working randomly but started working again after I just powered the controller off and on so I hope it doesn't show up again. But overall it's been a fun bunch of months. The lack of games was annoying but I'm excited for this second half of the year when the heavy hitters start dropping in slowly but surely. Keep up the awesome content 👊🏿👌🏿💯
If you set the intensity on avengers for the triggers to around 5 or 6 it's a really really nice experience in my opinion, especially for the archers. They said they intentionally set them really high so you could turn it down to your preference instead of wishing they could do more. Try it out on Kate for example and you'll see what I mean. (I also turned down the vibration intensity in the controller ps5 settings to medium)

Glad you talked about the drift situation but also the the adaptive triggers aren’t really durable enough. A few weeks after having the controller I noticed that R2 became more loose and now when I lightly pass over the trigger it incidentally does stuff. So def a bummer.
On the original PS4, I have MW 2019, Cold War, and Star Wars Republic Commando. I can't play Modern Warfare online because I don't have enough space to download the current update for it. That's without the hi-res texture packs.
I scratched the glossy black bit on top DAY 1 btw the night I went to pick it up,it really isn’t a big deal but it bothered me🥲I love everything about the console the controller feels elegant and something about having the ps5 sitting right in front of me is extremely accomplishing

Funny enough Sony just patched the storage issue nano was talking about allowing you to move ps5 games to a usb storage and reinstall them when you want to play them. (Since reinstalling from the usb is much faster than redownloading them.)
Agree- PS4 was the best looking PlayStation Sony produced yet. Still, the 5 is tight. Those of us who haven't been able to track one down may be extra lusty too, though lol

I'm an Xbox fanboy, but I never fail to give the Playstation its props. The exclusives, the ways they innovate the basic gamer experience, and the overall PS experience is amazing. I love Xbox, but I think people need to realize that it's so much more than one side vs the other. Looking at it right now, this next-generation of gaming is kinda meh. But I know that it's going to be insane and all three companies will be so unique with how they create.
Really loving my ps5 just such a fantastic console and the controller also such a huge step up forn ps4 only real problem is there's not that many ps5 games out right now but obviously we'll get a lot more later on so
Nano needs to get an external HD for the PS4 games, even off an external drive they load a bit faster than straight off a PS4 drive, and they don't take up your precious PS5 storage
The first one might change over time The second you can turn off. With that said. After watching a lot of reviews and asking 2 friends who managed to get ps5, and after 2 generation with Sony consoles I decided to buy XSX my issues with ps5: - UI including lack of being able to group games in folders (why?) - lack of 1440p support - yes I from time to time use such a display to play games. - the current limited support for external drives. You can only install PS4 games. You cannot even DL the ps5 game on external drive. So for people with data caps being forced to re-download huge data volumes might be a problem. On XSX you can install any a game on external drive (I use HDD) but you cannot play X/S optimized games you need to copy them to internal SSD. not perfect but better, for me the copy process on a 100GB is still way much more quicker than downloading the whole thing again. - size it will not fit my current setup. And changing everything around the tv corner to be able to put console, not something I’m willing to do at the moment. - less than optimal way of delivering games they have versions like the same game is PS4 and PS5 you have to choose the correct one. - some games have rather complex processes for moving save games There most probably is something I forget. I might buy PS5 later on. For me the platform does not matter I just care about having fun playing games. Have a nice time gaming!

Fun fact: After the overuse of a PS5 controller, it can possibly "drift". This drift is very similar to the "Joycon Drift" of the Nintendo Switch.
The best experience I've had with the dualsense so far is WRC9. You can feel the difference between gravel, tarmac etc in your fingertips

I bought a ps5 along side my series x, and i bought it new but the hdmi is kind of moving, and that happens since i bought it, is it normal ?
