Hey everyone we want to go to KCON LA this year so PLEASE fill out this survey and SUGGEST US: Form of Therapy for a panel! If you're going you'll have a chance to meet us, and even if you aren't we'd appreciate the support! bit.ly/KCON18PANELS
this is the first reaction of yours that i've watched and i was like 'yes... YES' throughout your explanation/interpretation of jhope as a rapper and member of bts. it is so spot-on and adds a different view for jhope and i appreciate your opinion and am delightfully surprised by it :) jhope is my bias and thank you so much for liking his style of music
That comment about J-Hope breaking stereotypes really is my favorite thing about Hobi. You really can't box him into a single category, his music, persona, dancing style, everything's a contradiction and he's just so fascinating.
Yes i can relate, i also never really was able to put myself in a box, and so i can get him in a,way, to me personally, doing just one thing and following everything "by a book" isn't really my cup of tea and i guess its similar for him. And to be more clear, doing things unconventionally isn't done on purpose, its just that it comes naturally.
About Daydream: With his release he surprised plenty of fans that aren't really known with the members like Form of Therapy. Maybe they never paid attention to him or his musical style. Armys that have paid attention or have been here for longer weren't. I for example was not surprised. When Daydream came out i was more like "AHH this is a very Hobi like sound" but I guess many of those fans (or Army who just never paid enough ettention to Hobi) are stuck on Boy meets evil style. His Mixtape to me is a true reflection of himself, it goes from those funky beats and flips over to some strong hiphop. Even the outro was really touching. Daydream actually has a very sad aspect if you understand the lyrics. Lsten to the lyrics and you'll see how he struggles with reality and escapes from it thorugh daydreaming how it could've been like. He doesn't make the song dark toned though. With this saying that it isn't a bad thing. He accepts and loves his reality. But the daydream is still something he wants to have even if it doesn't last. He just longs for the another reality too and satisfies that longing by daydreaming. I was surprised with the contrast of the message and the sound. He elaborated on it saying he didn't want it to be dark toned and sad as you'd imagine with such subject but something that fits him better which is upbeat and optimistic. I love this side of him. In terms of rapping skills I think RM and Yoongi got the upper hand. It is only natural since they have been doing it even before they entered BH entertainment. Hobi learned from those two and became himself a really really skilled rapper and even found his love for music doing so. One thing I think Hobi excells in more than anyone is his flow creativity. The music/tarck doesn't control him. It doesn't constrict him. He rather makes it his own. You'll get what I mean in the song P.O.P and Hangsang especially! He also doesn't fear to let his voice go out of control. Like dismorfing?(I'm not sure if that term is correct) his voice and making it sound so strange. It fits so well. To add to this. I commend him on his diction while dismorfing his voice like that. His diction may not be flawless but FUCKING AMAZING for the sounds he produces with his voice. It must be difficult. I also love how he isn't afraid to try new things. His rap parts in BTS are one of the most fun parts imo since he really adds flavor to the songs. Take 'Save me' for example! Well that was my take on it. I'm wondering who do you stan? Seventeen?
strawverrybunny Yep, I agree 100% with you. This is definitely Hobi's style, I don't get how people didn't think he would go with something like this and I love that he put the sad lyrics to the funky beat. It gives the illusion that it it an happy song unless you delve in deeper into the songs lyrics. It reminds me of his personality in a way, he comes off as a happy, bubbly person that is out there in interviews but once you get into BTS you learn that he isn't always like that he can be really serious sometimes and show a range of different personalities of Jung Hosoek that isn't just his J-Hope face. Edit: Yes PD-nim stans the group Seventeen.
Exactly what i wanted to say. May I just add too that his style can bring so many music opportunities for bangtan. We can only fanthom the genre they’ll be doing next and anticipate more and more every comeback.
strawverrybunny yes I agree, and I'm so pleased that he didn't follow the aggressive/angry "style" of mixtape and rap (which I like don't get me wrong) because that is not what he is and I don't get how people can't see that and say that they expected more from him, he is underrated in bts (I saw a poll where A LOT of people voted jimin amd jungkook as best dancers and I was like.. Wtf). The thing about the flavour is true af is also a reason why he is my bias, I love all the "screams" and noises that you hear during his rap parts or his rap in general gives me such a boost of energy lol (in come back home I jumped when i heard that rap omg)
If you read the lyrics and understand the meaning of the song, you will understand that the music video goes very well with that. The song is about j-hope struggling between his two personas - his idol persona, the happy, bright j-hope he shows to the world - and his real self, or the person he was before he joined bts. He struggles becase he sometimes feels that he has to keep his happy idol persona up even when he would like to show other sides of himself - he's talked in the past about how him choosing the name j-hope was because he wanted to be a hope to the group and fans, and that it's both a blessing and a curse. This video shows a lot of that - like you said it's very trippy. the goldfishes floating in his room, the rocketship, colorful rooms and airplanes are all metaphors for wanting to dream and do everything you want to do, but as you grow up realize that all of those things are not possible - because of society, where you grow up, your life, your personality etc. so i think if you understood the meaning of the song, you would be able to come to more complex conflutions. hope this helped in some way!
Is it just me then? I always find Jhopes parts in many BTS' songs the most interesting. Just to name a few "u never walk alone, wings, young forever, dead leaves, save me". It's like he adds so much colours to each of those tracks and many more. boy meets evil and mama are also so amazing. But I will admit he gets the short stick when it comes to title tracks. Also some ppl were disappinted with daydream bc they thought after 1verse that Jhope will go hard on his mixtape. But I find Daydream just his style. He showcased a lot of different sides to his voice. I only wish "the hook" (😋) was a little more build upon.
I completely agree, he's my favourite of the 3 rappers, even though Joon and Yoongi are not far behind, because of how colourful he is. He uses so many different tones and pitches and I agree with the tracks too. His bit in young forever is my total favourite
I know right? I feel like because he usually only gets a most 8 measures (it ends up being less than thirty seconds) he makes the most of it. Often times, there's a beat change involved with his part (like it 2nd grade or in Dead Leaves) so it highlights it even more!
Yes, actually Hoseok has a talent to make every his verse, no matter how short it is, the most cathiest part in the whole song for fans, non-fans, biased and unbiased.
Yes I was waiting for this! Definetely J Hope started as a member that was easily neglected by the fans. But he had a lot of room and freedom to grow and it is really nice for us to get to witness him finding his sound. This mixtape surprised me a lot and i really liked the fact that he didn't dance like in Boy meets Evil. I love to see him dance but it is also nice to have an MV where his song is the main focus you know?
Filipa Fernandes yeah i kind of expected no dancing since bighit is true to their music like that and they know lots of new fans like the dancing in bts mvs but the main focus of all the member mvs was the rapping and music, seeing a few shots of him freestyling was really refreshing to me and it made me happy
Mia Lee lol can totally relate - but it's more than just killing the boys with die-hard choreo on their comeback; they always plan to slay us all along with them.
I KNOW!!!!!!! When I first saw this MV I HIGHKEY screamed and fangirled. That is one of my All time favourite movies and I LOVE that JHope referenced it!!!! It makes me so frustrated when people don't catch that. I'm like, seriously???? 🤦🏻♀️🤣😂
Jhope's style's glimpses can be seen in BTS's music, his parts are very fun sounding and unique like in dope, save me and you never walk alone. He rapping style is pretty unique, so is his voice and this make him shine through the music BTS create.
Hoseok has been my bias basically for as long as I’ve been a fan of bts, so everything about this mv and mixtape has felt so quintessentially him and expressed parts of himself that I’ve been able to discern about him and relate to for years. Listening to the mixtape actually gives me so much confidence and joy because I relate to Hoseok on such a personal level, and his music sums up and expresses a lot of the feelings I have about life, even if we are walking different life paths.
I hope you'd do a Diving Deeper into BTS ! I'm curious to know what your thoughts on some of their old songs ! Anyways , I love your reviews so much they are very detailed !
Thank you for reacting to Daydream, I'm looking forward to your reaction to the full Hope World mixtape. Sadly I think you're right that Hobi is in a way under utilised in BTS songs. For me his parts always stand out, but they're usually too short and just like he is almost always having to under-dance (ie not dance to his full ability), he is almost always having to "under perform" musically. This mixtape proves his huge potential and ability. I know to give equal opportunity to all 7 members is not easy and the whole "we use the person best suited for the lines" thing is always thrown out as justification, but I think when you have members who are clearly not being able to showcase their talents anywhere near their ability, and it's is memberS as it isn't just Hobi, I think then you really need to re-evaluate how your distributing and utilising the talent at your disposal. Any group where you are not using all members abilities as much as possible is failing a little at something be it line distribution or promotion etc. BTS is very lucky, it has 7 multi talented members. To not utilise ALL 7's talents in BTS songs is a crime and hopefully the success of Hope World and the clamering from fans of members who are under utilised will continue to see bighit take that on board and start showcasing all the talent at their disposal. (And no, it's not about "taking away" from other members, it's about utilising EVERYONE'S talent to it's fullest. Everyone's.)
Dina Izzati well no, they haven't actually, but they are improving and in part at least due to fans demands. But bighit aren't the only company guilty of this - almost all groups have members whose talents are under utilised and for me I find it a crying shame. I'm not claiming it's easy to fully use all the talent these companies have at their fingertips, but talent combined with the dedication all the idols have is such a rare and precious thing and to see a lot of the talent not being used to its fullest is a tragedy. Talent in any and all walks of life especially when combined with hard work should always be utilised as much as possible. And yes I am that idealistic idiot sitting in the corner believing everyone can and should be given the chance to be the best they can be, sue me. 😄
Well said. You said what I wanted to say. Let us continue to bring this message across because I love BTS and it's individual talent who deserves a solo career.
I never understood when people call him the least skilled rapper or don't notice his rap skill. To me, it always stood out the most. He is able to switch his flow so much and on top of that, incorporate vocals. Not to mention his ad-libs. His non-traditional and even trappy rap-style is soo cool and improves every song dramatically. Every rapper in BTS brings something different and it's what makes the rap line so complete.
Awww, I'm glad you enjoyed it, I had a feeling you would! It was also funny when you said it reminded you of samba at the beggining because he actually wrote this song in Brazil lol. I really loved not only daydream but the entire mixtape. I think even armys didn't know quite what to expect from hobi because he tends to switch his style a lot to fit bts' songs, rather than having one strong solidified style, but this mixtape really expresses his personality so well! It's bright with this slight undercurrent of melancholy and it makes you wanna dance all the time. Can't wait to see your reaction to the rest of the tracks, I feel like you'll enjoy most of them. Also if you wanna know more about the mixtape and hobi's thoughts on it, he did a really great interview with Time and a vlive where he goes track by track explaining his influences and intentions for each song, both are really good.
If you ever do a Diving Deeper with BTS, you see that, actually, J-hope's rap is very good and flows more freely, and is more interesting too, on their b-tracks. He is know, in the fandom, for his flow, while RM is know for his powerful deliver and Suga for his more emotional, hard style.
For anyone who's interested, the team behind the production of this MV is the same that produced the Serendipity MV! I feel sometimes the same vibe is there which ties hobi's work (of art) very beautifully to the rest of BTS
Klasse17 Oh wow...I literally just commented on J-Hope's "Airplane" MV that i was suspecting that (among other possible connections between different MVs) XD
From the lyrics of daydream, J-hope is expressing how he has trouble merging his two identities together. One identity is that of a global superstar, and the other, just a normal guy in his 20's. I say it's typical for someone in their 20's to have a little identity crisis, but even more so for BTS and J-hope because they do have a massive following, and in a way, they are very influential to the youth GLOBALLY. He has all this power but he's conflicted because he himself actually don't fully know who he is yet. I think that's the beauty of this song. At some parts, there's a little bit of dissonance between the music and his rapping flow...I think that's just kind of symbolizing his internal conflict with himself. I would really say though that this song and his whole mixtape is very J-hope. He just loves those old school hip-hop vibes and if you listen to his spotify playlist, you can feel this vibe as well. While J-hope is externally a very bubbly kind of guy, he does have a little bit of darkness in him. He hinted this a lot in the past actually, saying things like "just because I am happy on the outside, doesn't mean I don't get stressed," or something along those lines that one time in a bangtan bomb. Or that one time Suga said that Hobi was the most depressed guy he's ever seen before debut...and that's a lot coming from Suga. J-hope has this "serious persona" in him and it's actually a little uncomfortable and unnerving when I see him like this at certain times just because I'm not used to it, but I do understand him and love both of his sides. If you actually listen to the whole album, there is that last song "Blue Side." J-hope was expressing his other side when he was singing "back to the blue side" and you can witness the duality of his personality. The whole mixtape was so hype and then the last song is just total depression. I think he just wants to express that yes, while he is his happy self for a whole week, there is that one day where he just has a blue side. I think in a way, he really just wants to communicate this to people to alleviate some expectations of him and labeling him as a "happy virus." As for his rapping, I actually really LOVE his rapping style because it's so unique. RM has the serious cool flow, Suga has an aggressive and intense no-breathing style, while Jhope on the other hand...actually sings and raps at the same time, and it's really cool! Throw in some J-hope copyrighted unidentifyable sound effects and the song is golden. It's hard to explain until you hear his rap verses. "Boy meets Evil" is a very good example. Just listen to it, the song is so diverse at many points because of his rap, singing, and sound effects. Try listening to "Bapsae" or "Go Go" without his random sound effects and you will see how different the song will be and how it feels. I swear, J-hope is one of the most diverse artists out there. He didn't get the nickname golden hyung for nothin.
JeonxSomi's Husbando but I mean, would we even survive to the exposure of a 3min baseline? I don't think so. Again, Hobi saving our lifes ahahahahaha for real tho that track is too good
J-Hope's style of rapping is my favorite. Rapping doesn't normally feel optimistic but he brings out optimism in his flow. I love all of the rappers in BTS for different reasons but I find myself smiling whenever J-Hope's parts come through.
I km know you did this review awhile ago but I just saw it as I was looking to watch Daydream yet again. I can't get enough of this song. It's so full of good feels and the lyrics are insightful. Thank you for your great observations of Hoseok and his amazing personality and talent. Love his smile at the end the most! 💜💜💜💜
I was expecting a very good mixtape. And this is full of J-hope. It's him expressing himself at all, and I love it. I was like " wow, it's so him" when I listened and it gave me goosebumps. Really like his style!
J Hope is the first one that got my attention before I knew BTS. His voice tells the stories whatever that may be. He brings the grand theatre to the hip hop scene with his nicely packaged many talents, and I am quite excited about J Hopes future works. You go, J Hope! Thank you for the reaction. I always enjoy your vids.
I really agree with everything you’ve said. Hoseok’s flow most suited a lot of their older music more, but I find him versatile enough that he can fit his voice and flow to any BTS record. He is very dynamic and is able to adjust his delivery depending on the song, yet his rap parts never really stood out to me? Maybe just because of how well he is able to mesh into each song. Yoongi and Namjoon definitely do give off that typical cool/hard hip hop vibe to the average person, but I just wanted to add that the songs that Namjoon decided to give a music video in his mixtape actually aren’t that reflective of the entirety of his mixtape. The majority of his mixtape is actually kind of soft emo? If that makes sense? The biggest example being Life, but overall he actually didn’t really go for a typical hip hop vibe in his mixtape. It’s really diverse and he hit a lot of genres. Rock, indie, hip hop, electronic, etc...
finally got to see this and im not disappointed ! i agree about almost everything you mentioned though you should really do a diving deeper into bts !!! it would give you a deeper coherence of each member by listening to different songs and styles by bts , u wouldnt be disappointed
I loved you’re reaction. Can’t wait for your reaction to the rest of the mixtape. I love this mixtape because the lyrics are very meaningful. J-Hope talks about himself, not who JHope is but who Jung Hoseok is. He showed what he’s capable of and I’m really proud of him.
The mixtape takes you in to his world, how he feels, how he has to live, it's amazing but from track 1 to end OMG unbelievable. Each member is multi-talented don't sleep on them. J-Hope is old school hiphop twisted with modern day and can combine it and make it relevant to today.
I've been a Hobi-stan since the beginning, and I can tell you that J-Hope has always tried to break out of the box put on him by other people. His music taste (or his playlist, rather) is eclectic, not just hip-hop. So, for me, I wasn't surprised by his mixtape. Hobi is a very fun, upbeat and positive person. Also, dancers themselves are influenced by all types of music. That being said, I am glad that J-Hope has his time to shine. Being in BTS, he doesn't always get to.
"Having modern rap mixed in with old school funk, is really really cool" This is why I love watching you, your ability to explain concepts that i've thought so long about, concisely and way more accurate than me. This is my first time seeing rap and funk especially in the realm of kpop so this song was so refreshing in terms of BTS but also in terms of currant music in general.
I have to admit, I have always expected a funk-based mixtape from Hoseok, because I have been interested enough to delve into his music taste which includes KYLE, Tinashe, BROCKHAMPTON and such. The mixtape certainly lived up to my expectations of him coming out with a Tyler the Creator-esque style. But the rest of the mixtape can get very diverse and different from the single, so then it’s a bit hard to place it in a definitive category (kinda similar to what you said about him being experienced in too many aspects to properly be categorized).
It's good that you pick up on Hobi's funk influences as he come from a funk styles dance background that is heavily influenced by 70's funk like Parliament Funkadelic, Earth, Wind & Fire and Roger & Zapp. Out of all of BTS Hobi is truly in my opinion the old soul of the group. I'm really looking forward to your review of his mixtape. I think you will be plesantly surprised.
i’ve been waiting for this video! i’m excited to watch the listening party. you mentioned that you haven’t really noticed jhope as a rapper in bts videos, although a lot of people don’t know that he makes a lot of the sound effects in bts songs that you hear
i love your reactions please do more! when i first heard daydream the first thing i thought was jhope, you can tell he wanted to put as much of himself in the song and you can easily tell he did so
Jhope is my ultimate bias I love him so much! So sweet and positive and happy and handsome! He makes me feel good about myself and life for a little bit :)
I seriously agree so much with your comment that I feel also that Jhope doesn't get a chance to shine as much in BTS. He is really very talented and people don't even realize he has so much potential. He is indeed a 'bright ray of sunshine'!
I WAS WAITING FOR YOUR REACTION. Thank you so much for reacting to Daydream. I look forward to watching your reaction to the entire mixtape. It's really very good. Hobi shined and showed his prowess as a writer and producer. 💕
Now that you mentioned it, I could pinpoint the samba-esque part and that makes a lot of sense since he said he wrote daydream while they were in Brazil for their tour! Loved the video as always ♡
I got a cheery, whimsical 90s retro style from this music video. I think j-hope is hard to pin down is because he's a hip hop dancer first and then his raping/producing came in later. If you meet hip hop dancers, a lot of them have that happy, energetic, and loud personality (with a bit of a pervy side). I think in interviews he's alluded that he's growing as producer and seeing music in a different way.
yeeeess react to the whole mixtape, hoseok is knowing for his bouncy and bright persona so the mv screams jhope but he also can shine in many other ways, he is so versatile
Thank you for reacting to this and your comments made me smile a lot. I like how you know many different songs as well and try to incorporate a style to Hoseoks song ^^
I felt like JH was a magical color that is so important in forming BTS today. He was only dancing and was assigned to be a vocalist but he could turn to a rapper so well, now he can make music and rap, he really has talent and potential
I love BTS and I love how every memebr has diffrent voice, amazing unique color! Greetings from Tricity in Poland :-) JHope has so amazing voice, with color, rasp. JHOpe's Ego and Daydream are so amazing! another masterpiecies

the first thing i though when i listened DAYDREAM was "Supersonic from Jamiroquai" hahha idk just why i though that xD
this is the first reaction of yours that i've watched and i was like 'yes... That comment about J-Hope breaking stereotypes really is my favorite thing about Hobi. You really can't box him into a single category, his music, persona, dancing style, everything's a contradiction and he's just so fascinating.
It's like someone asked Hobi what he likes/wants to do/be awesome at and he said "ALL THE THINGS!!!" and then did them all.
Exactly...hence why he's my bias.
AMEN SISTER
Yes i can relate, i also never really was able to put myself in a box, and so i can get him in a,way, to me personally, doing just one thing and following everything "by a book" isn't really my cup of tea and i guess its similar for him. And to be more clear, doing things unconventionally isn't done on purpose, its just that it comes naturally.
Yup, that's our Golden Hyung for you. #JHOPE #HOPEWORLD
"He is a colorful almost acid trip of a man" truer words were never spoken lol its one of the many reasons he is my ultimate bias.
Hobi's my ultimate bias too and i absolutely agree with you.
He's my bias as well. It took awhile for me to really appreciate the other members because I was so focused on what he was doing.
Originally Yoongi was my bias but Hobi was too adorable not to love
Its the same for so many people. He either starts out as their bias, or ends up as their bias.
Accurate 😆

Giyanka i sooo agree with you!!
I agree with you. His verses are consistently one of my favorites in BTS songs
김고은 100% agree with you. No choreo, just him jamming to his own music
Mia Lee lol can totally relate - but it's more than just killing the boys with die-hard choreo on their comeback; they always plan to slay us all along with them.
Filipa Fernandes He's always been my bias😄👍
Army: who and why is arthur and why is he calling jhope THEORIES!!!
Him: *sees Arthur* oh, that's a movie reference
elena gliebute I was shocked that almost no reactor or commenter understood the Don't Panic! reference right away orz
It's a reference to Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy.
elena gliebute I know right 😂😂
I KNOW!!!!!!!
When I first saw this MV I HIGHKEY screamed and fangirled. That is one of my All time favourite movies and I LOVE that JHope referenced it!!!! It makes me so frustrated when people don't catch that. I'm like, seriously???? 🤦🏻♀️🤣😂
His personality is as bright as his music video. The meaning of the song is actually very deep but he opted the do a brighter MV.
OOF I WAS WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS, NOW WE JUST NEED THE LISTENING PARTY
dodie's Ukulele YES!
dodie's Ukulele muzica
YES PLS
YES
Jhope's style's glimpses can be seen in BTS's music, his parts are very fun sounding and unique like in dope, save me and you never walk alone. He rapping style is pretty unique, so is his voice and this make him shine through the music BTS create.
Gurleen Sodhi And Wings:Outro
OH I CAN'T WAIT FOR FULL MIXTAPE REACTION
J-hope's personality is a group on it's own
Honeslty the moment I heard it I was just like “this is SO Hoseok” even though I had never really thought about it
Hoseok has been my bias basically for as long as I’ve been a fan of bts, so everything about this mv and mixtape has felt so quintessentially him and expressed parts of himself that I’ve been able to discern about him and relate to for years. Listening to the mixtape actually gives me so much confidence and joy because I relate to Hoseok on such a personal level, and his music sums up and expresses a lot of the feelings I have about life, even if we are walking different life paths.
The beat sounds like the background of like a fashion show or elevator music.
Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy reference.
Yeah, quite easy-listening, right? I would like it even more if it was a bit slower.
yesss
I hope you'd do a Diving Deeper into BTS ! I'm curious to know what your thoughts on some of their old songs ! Anyways , I love your reviews so much they are very detailed !
Rin if so happens, I pity the fandom when choosing which side tracks to suggest. I can't pick them myself
ly album is the recent one tho? and that's not included in his diving deeper series
I’VE BEEN SO EXCITED FOR THIS OMG
I think in a way, he really just wants to communicate this to people to alleviate some expectations of him and labeling him as a "happy virus."
As for his rapping, I actually really LOVE his rapping style because it's so unique. He didn't get the nickname golden hyung for nothin.
idk why jhopes songs and parts in songs always comfort me. his voice is sweet and fun, he changes how he pronounces words it’s really unique
I literally screamed when pd said he was going to react to the whole mixtape
Who's your bias in BTS?
Mine is Yeontan.
Strawberry Erhu mine's Odeng
mine’s mickey
Min Holly 😂
The bitch, RM...... It sounds normal when you're posh.
Rapmon the dog
I wonder what his reacting to Base line and Hangsang?
Rap Kookin the worst thing about baseline is how short it is
JeonxSomi's Husbando SO TRUE
While listening to Hangsang, his computer will set itself on fire.
JeonxSomi's Husbando but I mean, would we even survive to the exposure of a 3min baseline? I don't think so. Again, Hobi saving our lifes ahahahahaha for real tho that track is too good
I'm sooooooooooooo exited for your reaction to the mixtape
He is literally a bright ray of sunshine. Our hope
Spendalyn Namjoon's is emo. I love his songs drifting and always. He is really a master of all styles
finally got to see this and im not disappointed ! i agree about almost everything you mentioned though you should really do a diving deeper into bts !!! it would give you a deeper coherence of each member by listening to different songs and styles by bts , u wouldnt be disappointed
I love this song so much and his mixtape is straight 🔥. Literally no songs are skip worthy. A masterpiece if you will.
He's my favorite rapper in BTS. PERIOOODDDDTTTTT. His rap is such my taste and I just love his flow and his voice 😭❤❤❤
This is why he is our angel. He is our HOPE! J-hoooooooppe!
Yes!! I'm in love with his mixtape. Excited to listen through the entire thing with you! :) thanks for the wonderful reaction as always!
Jhope is super talented man, he can rap, dance and give so much energy out. Looking forward for the mixtape review
"Having modern rap mixed in with old school funk, is really really cool" This is why I love watching you, your ability to explain concepts that i've thought so long about, concisely and way more accurate than me. This is my first time seeing rap and funk especially in the realm of kpop so this song was so refreshing in terms of BTS but also in terms of currant music in general.
daydream us my jaaaammmm
I love Jhope. And it's so good to see someone else appreciate him, too.
ShinyBusterBaby I would say it's more neo house music, something dee-lite would have created back in the 90's.
i’ve been waiting for this video! i’m excited to watch the listening party.
you mentioned that you haven’t really noticed jhope as a rapper in bts videos, although a lot of people don’t know that he makes a lot of the sound effects in bts songs that you hear
Love J- hope daydream
yess I've been waiting for this! I completely agree with a lot of what you said too, great video!
J hope is dope in every way
I think that was a legit, great reaction... you rock PD ! 💓 #WeloveyouJHope ! 💖
Jhope's always gives a versatile point to the songs, that's his style. MAMA his solo in Wings was a good glimpse
Super glad you liked it! Excited for the first listen
i love your reactions please do more! when i first heard daydream the first thing i thought was jhope, you can tell he wanted to put as much of himself in the song and you can easily tell he did so
OH FINALLY IM SATISFIED NOW
YES IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS THANK YOU FORM OF THERAPY *bows dramatically*
Jhope is my ultimate bias I love him so much! So sweet and positive and happy and handsome! He makes me feel good about myself and life for a little bit :)
J-HOOOOOOOOOOOOPE!!!! I love his mixtape!
Hope jhope would watch this!!! ❤️❤️❤️ this is so accurate and amazing reaction
yes jhope deserves more recognition !! my precious sunshine 😍
J hope is mega talented
BOUT DAMN TIME MY DUDE
This is perfect. I think this describes J-Hope very well and he needs a little bit more of this. Daydream would have to be my favorite J-Hope song
Thank you so much. Jhope is amazing.
Now that you mentioned it, I could pinpoint the samba-esque part and that makes a lot of sense since he said he wrote daydream while they were in Brazil for their tour!
Loved the video as always ♡
Yes, I have been waiting for this since the mv release
Yes cant wait for you to listen to the rest :D
I really didn't expect THIS but i was more then pleasantly surprised
What a sunshine
He's a sunshine! I love his unique style ❤️
OMG SO EXCITED can't wait for your listening party for the whole hixtape
Yesh, I'll be waiting your reaction 👍👍 you're the best!
I'm so proud of hobie for achieving so much for his talents. He has worked so hard for this mixtape
yes, when someone see J-Hope, nobody would thought that he's a rapper, seriously, especially him being so charming, goofy and sweet....
what is amazing about jhope is he can turn the sad lyrics into a brightful music
Thank you Teraphy!! I really love J-hope Mixtape
YESSS!!!!! Can't wait for the reaction of the whole mixtape. IT IS SO SO AMAZING. Mind was blown 💙💙
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS ♥️♥️♥️ thank you so much 😊
Thank you for reacting to this and your comments made me smile a lot. I like how you know many different songs as well and try to incorporate a style to Hoseoks song ^^
I felt like JH was a magical color that is so important in forming BTS today. He was only dancing and was assigned to be a vocalist but he could turn to a rapper so well, now he can make music and rap, he really has talent and potential
yess, i've been waiting for this since daydream was released omg
I love BTS and I love how every memebr has diffrent voice, amazing unique color! Greetings from Tricity in Poland :-) JHope has so amazing voice, with color, rasp. JHOpe's Ego and Daydream are so amazing! another masterpiecies
i totally agree with what you said about j hope being a different kind of rapper,
he is such a ray of sunshine, but still got that flow like a rainbow
I really love your reactions because you're one of the real reactors that actually say what they liked and what they disliked!
Thank you for stating everything ARMYS has been thinking ever since this was released. He is our hope. #HIXTAPE💕
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS THANK YOU!!! BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR SO LONG!! 💙💙
Ah, I was worried we wouldn't get a reaction from you. Always worth the wait!
bts jhope
😍😍
"Bright ray of sunshine" Yesss! He is, he's our hope. I love how you said that😭😭😊
Yeye can't wait for the album review!!
Ahhh thank you ive been waiting for this ever since the mv came out
Jhope is the most rare talent i ever seen , he is amazing.
