It has to be one of the most relaxing videos I've had the pleasure of stumbling across. The gentle sound of the ores dipping in and out of the water, birds chattering, and the cherry on the cake is the majestic moggy looking out onto the waters with the wisdom and skills of a naval Captain navigating his fleet back from an epic adventure on the high seas.
I could never take my rescued dog out here. He'd tip the boat and run through the woods like a wild man. Your cat is a particularly distinct gentleman.
Craziness. I KNOW I have seen this before, and then it suddenly shows up again because of The Algorithm. Amazing. And I still enjoy Louis enjoying his morning kayaking.

You would be shocked to see a map of waterways from 1880, the East coast was crisscrossed by canals connecting rivers and lakes. But our country is too big, and a canal system is too slow, so the railways and roads took over the shipping.
@jacktheaviator4938 That's fair, I almost specified the west coast, where I live, MD where we truly have few of any canals. I took a chance on claiming the whole country, largely because I know we don't have canals like *this* that are functional, lovely waterways with houses or businesses along them, who use them!
