    Great video Blake.
    I would love if you could create an updated video on abdominal imbalances (for instance, right rectus abs overdeveloped and left rectus abs very weak/underdeveloped). The last video you have on the topic was from 9 years ago!

    This sounds to be the reason why I'm sometimes tilting when i'm squatting. I don't even notice that i'm doing it at all, will definietly give these exercises a shot to see if I see some improvements.

    I started doing the QL stretch because my left side is extremely sore and tight. I have left hip hiked up. So far that stretch alone is helping. I’m going to do the QL strength on my right side and the butt walking. Don’t care if it looks ridiculous. LFG

      Have you seen a chiropractor? Do you have an actual pelvic tilt? You'll do more damage than good if you don't.

    Thank you for the video.
    Could you do a video about if one side of the pelvis rotated more forward then the other side. Or is it possible to level the pelvis with your shown exercises.

    • @GuerrillazenFitness

    • @JTD33

      That actually occurs quite often along with lateral pelvic tilt. The side with the lower hip is often rotated forward.

    Thanks Blake, I've been trying to get this right for years, but have never managed. My left knee joint is loose and I suspect that this is a contributing factor, but I don't seem to be able to strengthen that as I think it isn't helping.

  • @Solar6351

    Great information thank you! My imbalance is due to leg length.
    Interesting that it’s more common for the right side that to be higher. I wonder why that is 🤔

    • @GuerrillazenFitness

      Anatomical reasons...liver on the right side...larger diaphragm on the right...heart on the left...there are other reasons too like computer use and leaning towards a mouse, etc...

    Firstly thank you for preparing this video. My prayers with you. I have a question. All these three exercises is for solving right hip higher than left hip? My right hip quite higher than left, rotated left knee, pronated left foot arch. Suffering pain all these issue. Please could you upload more videos for this problem? Thanks so much

    • @GuerrillazenFitness

      The exact demonstrations are for a right hip hike yes. Roger, more videos on this topic in the future!

    Great video - concise and something everyone can do at home very easily. Question - I recently threw out my back. I'm about 70% better, but my hips are still out of alignment - right higher than the left. Are these 3 exercises appropriate for this condition - hurt back lifting but not sure if I regularly have this situation where one hip higher than the other. I can do these 3 exercises pretty pain free. Thank you.

    • @GuerrillazenFitness

      Hey dave, possibly. Really depends on why you "threw your back out". If you have LPT then these exercises would be beneficial.

    What of the Lower shoulder

  • @johnlally2365

    Thanks for a great post. One aspect that is not clear to me pertains to Glute waekness. If QL is tight/shortened is that not due to Glute weakness on the opposite side ....not the same side.

    • @GuerrillazenFitness

      Glad you liked it. No, typically the glute on the opposite side of the hiked hip is typically the weaker glute.

    • @johnlally2365

      Thank for reply. Makes perfect sense to me now. I already had a certain degree of hiked hip on my left with the opposite right side glute probably weaker. Then I fractured my right femur in bike crash such that my right glute became even weaker (atrophied) and the left QL has had to work over time to counteract a now much weaker right glute!!!.....resulting in more chronic situation!!

    My left hip is lower and my left leg feels longer, which side should I do this stretch on?

    • @GuerrillazenFitness

      If the LEFT hip is lower and the right hip is hiked then doing the exercises today as shown is best. If in doubt get an assessment with me or just stick to the butt walking exercise!

  • @Ello3342

    My hip hike is on the right side. But my left side is much much tighter .. is that possible?

    • @GuerrillazenFitness

      Yup, the "tightness" on the left side sometimes comes front the QL being TOO stretch and long in the first place. In this case it can feel "tight" but it's overstretched and long and tight like a guitar string or two ends of a rope being pulled in the opposite direction. Make sense?
