I’m turning 21 this year and I feel so scared, yesterday I was just I girl and now I’m getting a degree and I live alone in a big city where everything looks so much bigger and better than all I knew. your channel is so grounding. i’m 21 and my head is always spinning and i don’t think it will stop, i just have to learn to keep my gravity centred and spin with it. I keep reaching false epiphanies that I’ve already failed at life. I’m about to graduate and I feel as though I didn’t work as hard as I should have, and that my disabilities held me back hard. It’s heartbreaking and it leaves me to compare with everyone else my age but I know it’s not useful. Your calming energy and also just the wisdom you carry from having more experience than me just reminds me that it’s ok, the world is still turning at the same rate. I will be fine. 🫶

hello leah!♡ i admire your self-awareness knowing that the single life is what's best for you right and how secure you are to consciously make and stick to that decision. given that, any advice on how to let go? its so hard to let go of romantic love but logically speaking, while we agree that we want to end up with each other, neither him or i are there yet (responsibilities and personal growth-wise, plus LDR). i cant help but hold on for fear that him or i end up with someone else because i never really felt this way for someone else before. and while i know i should just let things be and ride the tide, its hard to do that and end up holding on when its smarter to 'pause'
I guess taking time to focus on yourself sounds like a win-win in that you could come back together stronger or meet people who are a better match! I think it’s still hard though given that we are emotional people but I’m using it as an opportunity to practice trust!
