Great Movie. Beyond praying...take tangible steps to stop domestic violence. Don't also incite your partner...set the boundaries with the opposite sex after marriage. thank you Refixfilmstv. More grace!
Most domestic violence doesn’t start in marriage it has always been there but we often neglect the red flags because of the butterflies in our stomach and ones the butterfly is being tortured and beaten to death you will realize you are wrong by closing your eyes to those red flags and by then it maybe too late. A wise man ones side do not leave any stone unturn while courting and anything you know you aren’t and won’t be comfortable with in the future do not let it slide act on it.
Hmmmmm The man needed to heal first before getting married since it was something he saw happening in his home, secondly the woman did not maintain balance and boundary, once you are married there is a level to which you are suppose to relate with the opposite sex. God will help us not to fall into the hands of an abuser This is why counseling and advice from parent, friends, pastors, spiritual covering are all very important. If they had gone through their pastor or mentor am sure this won't be happening because most times when we are overly in love with the wrong person he uses them to bring us back God will help us all
This movie powerfully delves into the profound influence parents wield in shaping their children's destinies. It poignantly illustrates how childhood experiences, both positive and negative, reverberate throughout one's life. By emphasizing the pivotal role of parental guidance, the film serves as a compelling reminder for caregivers to be mindful of their actions and words, as they profoundly impact their children's development. It's a thought-provoking and enlightening piece that prompts reflection on the responsibility of nurturing the next generation.
The storyline is good. But I would like to point out one thing I noticed. We as Christians should know that everything about us must preach Christ including our outward appearances. The main character is naturally a beautiful woman and in the last scene, and even in the scene where she was in that room alone, you could see how pretty she looked compared to the other scenes. Let there be a difference between worldly movies and Christian movies in terms of appearances too.
I subscribe to this. The dressing should portray it is Christian movie except in cases where the cast is acting as an unbeliever. Christian actors and actresses should be careful not to conform to the world system. God is our help.
Beautiful piece!!! Wondering if the couple are alone… no friends, mentors, parents or church… these are important community in any marriage. I’m surprised at the quick response of the domestic violence response office… if it’s this fast in Nigeria 🇳🇬 I believe lives will not be lost as it used to
So emotional… this is exactly what my mum went through… she had to abandoned I and my siblings at a very tender age(me at the 5yrs, my elder sis @6yrs, our last born @1yr) I can’t stop crying coz I’ve missed her so much…. I’m 24yrs now but I don’t know who my mum is 😢😢
I started watching this film in part and at last, I have finished it. The message is very prevalent and sadly it’s an ongoing matter. There were so many things that this film highlighted and interesting I was even sharing this same matter about especially women learning to create boundaries. It seems to me that many women struggle with boundary. I will never understand why a married woman would be so deeply involved with a guy friend and even more so saying that’s her best friend. Nothing wrong with having a friend but understanding the season that individual is, plays a role. On the guys matter, trauma that he witnessed is what is being revisited. Honestly, I believe that education, prayer and counseling needs to take place. The end of this film was a surprise to end. Indeed, God can restore marriages. Thank you for sharing this film. God bless you 🙏🏿
Nice message! Was eagerly waiting for the social workers call and I got it. It sends a twofold message, while you’re praying and waiting on God, count your life as important. God gives us His message to be wise and not foolish. Indeed a wise woman and a head of the home were beautifully portrayed. Keep it up!👍🏽
The woman also need to learn not flirt with a friend in the presence of her her husband. She should know where to draw the boundary. Put yourself in the man's shoes, what would you have done? The woman needs to repent!
She didn't see it as flirting. Many ladies call their friends using terms of endearment. I think the line should be drawn even as singles, those sweet name calling becomes an habit that may cause problems later on.
such a very sensitive subject. I see Vincent as a victim of vicarious trauma emanating from his childhood. part of self-awareness is knowing triggers and addressing them. when wife addressed their friend as boo I knew that didn't sit well with him. these are some of the key issues to raise while courting so people like Vin will have therapy and not brush them under the carpet. it takes grace to be able to forgive one's spouse or perpetrator and still build a home together. so many lessons to take home. silence can kill!
If Mount Zion is adding to this movie I would love to watch part 2. Because it doesn't have a perfect end, please work on the next part. The husband is very wrong in touching his wife. But scripturally the man is entitled to write her a letter of divorce, instead of beating her like a bag of beans. In some cases most men don't want to lose their home and you know what will ends it? Beaten of cause. The wife is very much and highly wrong for keeping that kind of relationship with a male friend and her ex for crying out loud. We can't totally blame the husband for the actions. Even the Man of God will get angry. Try to read the book of Hosea
In my opinion, we can blame him for his actions. He should've handled it in a better way. He's totally and completely responsible for not handling it in the right way. He should've spoken to her like a mature human
But honestly, I agree She was at fault and they didn't show us if she repented I'm not saying the guy was correct for beating her, but as a human it ain't always easy Imagine seeing your wife flirting with your friend in your presence and calling him boo? Wow, I really wish for a part 2 where they clarify everything cos now this looks like the lady is not wrong any form and it can cause a lot of ladies to continue with the same habit The lady prayed for God to help her, but she needed to help herself by being faithful to his husband, he's the man was wrong but the woman was supposed to help her husband love her and protect her but she destroyed him How can you knock off 2 pm and get home 6 pm? We know traffic can be tight but eish, 4 hours caught up in traffic? I wouldn't believe either if there's a Daniel in a picture
Sometimes the abuser need to be thought a lesson before they can change. That's a wake up call to everyone please don't die there especially when children are involve.
There is a vital message that i got from this beautiful story. We must ensure we that once you are married you must cut ties with your ex friends. It doesn't matter who that person is to you. It creates a lot of jelousy in the marriage. Just move on simple. I dont so much blame the Man for being insecure because the woman was calling her ex "boo" in front of her husband. Not to talk of hanging out with her ex
If Mount Zion is adding to this movie I would love to watch part 2. Because it doesn't have a perfect end, please work on the next part. The husband is very wrong in touching his wife. You don't blame the man for being insecure????? Aren't there better ways to deal with it than beating his wife. The man has problems and he didn't deal with the situation right. He shouldve spoken to her and told her how he felt.. Like a mature human being instead of using her as a punching bag
Thank you @REFIX FILMS for this short but impactful film. I'm currently crying tears of joy because this was almost exactly my scenario with my wife a few months into our marriage, although some little differences so I can really relate. Jesus really works! And he makes the work perfect! My home is healed and growing in His spirit, all thanks to Him. Side note: I concur with the lady protagonist's outfit being revealing in some scenes and I know you can note that in subsequent productions. Thanks once again! God bless you all.
Its a nice movie and im happy for the way the story ended for the man, he saw the light and he genuinely repented and changed But, I don't like the part if the lady, she really didn't dress well, also she calls another guy boo, flirt with a guy in the presence of the husband? Ow, wow and it wasnt shown in this movie that she was wrong? There must be a part 2 so that that lady cuts off ties with that guy ir else this movie will mislead a lot of the ladies doing the same thing
Dey play. My aunt and her son were murdered by her husband. He beat both of them to death and he’s still walking free. She stayed because apparently that was the “Godly” thing to do.
This movie is not a worldly movie, this is gospel movie We need to learn something, so that we can teach others. If you have a brother and you follow him to that kind of dinner And you see a handsome dude steering at your brother's wife and your brother's wife called him friend What will you do?
@@abidemiadebayo4708 I would definitely talk to her and point out the issue. She’s my sister bc she is with my brother. I wouldn’t tell my brother to beat her to the point of almost ending her life. My aunt & her son that were BEATEN to death, didn’t have friends because he wouldn’t allow it. He stopped her from working and seeing her family. What would you tell your sister? That gospel artist that was allegedly to be killed by her “Christian” husband? What would you tell her, her family and children? What would you say to the women that have been murdered in the hands of their spouses?
Both are to blame from that part where they had dinner. It's not even how can you do that in front of your husband. You are not allowed to flirt with anyone else. So anything can happen when you are alone with such a friend more often, especially on days where you have a misunderstanding in your relationship, it is easier to be open then for lust to take over
