@@coleheisner5969 Their nickname is flying fox, but they are indeed fruit bats. Bats are the only flying mammals. Foxes can not fly.
Bats are sooooo important to our ecosystem and they are adorable! But they are also a lot of work rehabilitating and thank you so much for all of your hard work and passion for these precious animals!

How do people dislike this? The bats are sooooooo cute!!!
I've got a booklet of the north America bats and looking at the pictures, not all bats are as cute as the flying foxes. Majority of them are insect eaters so they're smaller and very different looking than the cute flap puppers that are fruit bats.
I'd be happy to look out for a downed bat until wild life rescue got there but most likely I wouldn't be cooing over the little one.

Flying fox is the Largest bat 🦇 and it can actually see , unlike other bats that use echo location sonar .

They are adorable. I saw a documentary once and it was heart breaking bcoz it was about these creatures being hunted. They were skinned alive and I heard their cry. I cried and for that moment I hated being human for a while.

WOW, ❤👍so beautiful to see this wonderful woman helping to raise these precious baby monkey bats! I was a little nervous when I first saw them. But, my mind went into understanding that GOD created these beautiful bats for a wonderful purpose! To observe their cute faces and hear them talk was just amazing and precious. Not to mention the affection of caressing them with tenderness and love!! All babies are precious! Just another teaching of all of God's loving and beautiful creations!! Show us more, PLEASE!
