i am a bihari and i know to make this curry. you need 3/4 quantity of onion for chicken.. like if you are taking 1 kg chicken then you need 700gm onion.

Concept is same nah, what's the deal if 2 or 3 onions are used. Recipe is shown perfectly that's what matters the most.
