It's the portrayal of emotion that gets me with this band. You can hear the despair, pain, sadness in his voice and words. It's beautiful how they are able to do this
The first time I heard of them (was Malina) I was skeptical because the sound so good with so many elements that I find it difficult to replicate live, specifically Einar's style which most singers can't do live (at least without backing tracks) turns out I love them even more playing live!
@@saulvera5469C'est exactement ce que j'ai pu constater dernièrement. Les voir performer "live" a été une véritable révélation. Je me suis dit : les dieux sont parmi nous.
Was not a big fan of Leprous until I watched their live videos! This band live is absolutely epic! One of the very best easily. The drumming, the production! Class!
The addition of Bard Koldstadt on Drums changed their energy dramatically. Not that their previous guys weren't good, but Bard is on another level and seems to really drive the band with new energy, to new heights - especially on their older material. His drum-cam play through of 'Moon' is phenomenal.
The singer looks brilliant to me. His vocal technique is very good. He has a beautiful voice color, flows smoothly between head voice and falsetto, perfect tuning.... I discovered this band a week ago and I love them
I truthfully have not been this singularly obsessed with one song in 30 years. The images they have on screen also match with how I perceive this song.
I am happily amazed to like this band so much. They are masters of writing dynamic, atmospheric songs to a complete demonstration that they just know good music. Song after song, I'm captivated to see where the song is going and to hear things on repeated listens that I hadn't heard before. So, so good. And of course, that voice. He's very quickly gone to the top of my favorite vocalists of all time. Just divine.

I was lucky to see them supporting Devin townsend were I live in the uk, loved the music, voice is great as well until he does his ahhhh, ahhhhh, ahhhh stuff, musically brutal🤟🏻
“Tusen takk?” Was that a local show or did it took place in Denmark, if not in Sweden? Also, i love it when the live recording is done professionally end video is edited like this. Unlike an audience recording with a smartphone, you can hear everything separately.
The guitar tone is disgusting in the best way possible, and the vocals and melodies are beautiful... these dudes really are something else. I don't dislike anything they've done, but this will always be my favorite Leprous style... The Congregation is just otherworldly.
Good Lord, what a voice.
Such a powerful song
Their ability to perform 100 times better live than in the studio is amazing.Einar's voice...radiating pain all over...jesus freaking christ!

I’m in love. All I can say.. fml I’ve been listening to them for years but never watched any live performance. This is even better than I imagined😳
Live shows is the best way to reach the understanding that the band is superb, amazing voice and musical instruments.
Love them like a Devin Townsend.
My favorite contemporary band.

Incredible.
i love this band

2-TEMAZO
Einar's voice is motlen gold...at the beginning as I wasn't watching I was believing I was listening to Martin Gore
Вы достойны лучшего!!! Будьте в том же духе!!! Простите за английский- не учил((
Holy Crap.
I like how everyone knows what the song is from the TV static sound from the start.
you mean a bass synth? lol
Love it so much!
This is way better than the studio version
Leporus man. Seriously amazing. I'd love to one day see you live, because holy shit this is good. This is absolutely good. Thank you so much.

It's from their live DVD from Oslo :) Always does a great job live!
CRUNCHY FPV I was there too! They were awesome!
BTBAM and Leprous in one show. You lucky bastard! I'd sell my left kidney to see that show.

Holy crap!
tall poppy needs a re-release
God yes
Hell yeah! Their best album IMO.
When i didnt knew them I always thought "Leprous" was a black metal band LOL
Seems metal af to me. I have no idea why, but it just is. Pedigreed, I guess.
Hahaha listen to contaminate me with Ihsahn :)
Me too. Leprous sounds like the name of a black/death metal band. Them being from Norway makes that idea even stronger.
They have got done stuff which sounds Abit BM but mainly it's really incredible prog
@@Benjamin-om3ih They love to just slide around genres. Basically a synth-pop-prog-kraut-metal band now.
Good ☺
Thanks for add this
Arch Stanton wasn't the graves name next ti the one where the money was stached in The Good The Bad and The Villan final scene?
Yes it is ,but name of the movie is "The Good The bad and The Ugly".:-)
