Tank's IQ is deceptively ELITE in my opinion. He's a surface-level power puncher but a closeted technician on the trajectory of Mayweather's realm of capabilities. I watch this young man fight, and he does the same thing. He loses the first couple of rounds to collect data, and once he's downloaded the data, the fight changes 180 degrees in his direction. That Frank Martin fight showed you that. Shakur is also an Elite fighter, so this would be a chess match. My questions for Shakur would be, "Tank has 12 rounds to land a power punch. Can you withstand that?" and "I feel that Tank would try to go to the body more to open up opportunities upstairs. What adjustments would you make if that happens?" Either way, I want to see the fight as a 30-plus-year boxing fan.

You're 100% right when people don't give him credit for his boxing IQ, I think Tank's defense is his main skill, the knockout power is what made him famous. If you watch his fight vs Pitbull Cruz you can see some amazing defensive sequences from him, his Ryan Garcia fight showed how he can take away a persons main weapon and use it against them, Tank is that guy by far, him and Crawford as levels ahead of their competition.

"Shakur has to get better" is a key statement. The thing is can he own his weaknesses and improve them. Last fight I saw Shakur's grandfather in the corner trying to give him pointers and tell him what to correct and Shakur kept attempting to over talk him and shun his advice. If that's a small sample of where he is mentally it appears he's at a stage he can't be told anything. He needs to humble himself and take accountability of his flaws and improve them if he wants to have any chance against Tank, or any other top fighter.
