I agree, we are desperate for a CB, however whether he is left footed or not is utter nonsense. If Salah got injured, I don’t doubt it would be a blow, but we have Nunez, Diaz, and Gakpo who can all play there and be super effective. We also have Ben Doak, who deserves a chance at a run of games because he has been superb every time he has come on for Liverpool. All in all, I believe a LB, I’d suggest either Ait Nouri of Wolves or Robinson of Fulham would be UNBELIEVABLE for Liverpool’s style of play, and a CB, and I believe Liverpool would have a great season. I did feel that Feyenoord milked Slot more to get their financials in order. Meaning, Slot had to turn players like Mats Wieffer (came in very cheap) into the players they have now become.

To be fair fsg did sign him. In 10 years it's actually incredible what fsg have done for us. Rebuilt anfield, built one of the best training facilities in world football, chose and bought the right manager in Klopp, brought success and pride back to this amazing club and now have hired this man. Not to mention bought and sold the correct players which have built the success of the club, all while running it the right way

No suprise players adopted quickly to Slot his style of play. He is such a good communicator and trainer. Feyenoord went from Advocaat to Slot and in one summer he turned the whole club around with his style of play. Advocaat played Mourinho type of football. Imagine being able to do that. Now he has players who are used to a similar style of play with only small tweaks. Liverpool you have a legend in the making in your hands
Well, Feyenoord was in a sort of crisis when Arne came. Feyenoord was the club with the least amount of money from the top clubs. And he still managed to become the league winner and building a new team which can compete in European Competitions. And all with less than 50 million over 3 seasons. As an Ajax fan I can only have respect for Arne Slot. As a Liverpool fan. I'm very happy he is the new manager :D

To be fair fsg did sign him. In 10 years it's actually incredible what fsg have done for us. Rebuilt anfield, built one of the best training facilities in world football, chose and bought the right manager in Klopp, brought success and pride back to this amazing club and now have hired this man. Not to mention bought and sold the correct players which have built the success of the club, all while running it the right way

I like how Arne comes across. I think it's best to make judgement on him at the end of the season and even then, I think his version of Liverpool would come to the fore next season, but if they have 20 odd points after 10 games, they will be doing OK.

No suprise players adopted quickly to Slot his style of play. He is such a good communicator and trainer. Feyenoord went from Advocaat to Slot and in one summer he turned the whole club around with his style of play. Advocaat played Mourinho type of football. Imagine being able to do that. Now he has players who are used to a similar style of play with only small tweaks. Liverpool you have a legend in the making in your hands

Well, Feyenoord was in a sort of crisis when Arne came. Feyenoord was the club with the least amount of money from the top clubs. And he still managed to become the league winner and building a new team which can compete in European Competitions. And all with less than 50 million over 3 seasons. As an Ajax fan I can only have respect for Arne Slot. As a Liverpool fan. I'm very happy he is the new manager :D

Different vibe to Klopp, but very impressive start. Clear, open, honest answers, no arrogance - clear plan, tactics are evolving - with a strong squad they'll go far. Interesting that he is open in criticising players in public, but in a balanced way with explanation. Not sure we've seen that often from managers before.
