Had a great weekend at Unicoi State Park and the town of Helen GA. Anna Ruby Falls, zip lining, tubing and hiking are just some of the activities in the area.

We stopped at Fred’s on our way into the park and when we were headed back home. My son and I love boiled peanuts. We really enjoyed the mountain coaster. We rode it twice. We didn’t see any black bears while at Unicoi; even though the staff (and all the signage) said the black bears were “VERY ACTIVE” in the park. Did you guys see any black bears while you were at Unicoi?

I seen a lot of Black ppl. My culture up here . I work at there. I never been up in the mountains or trails. I’m too afraid of the bears . 😂😂. Just my luck they chase me. 😂😂. You guys are bold. They say the bears are ready bold. It will explain why only wht.. give a lot of joy to working here and hiking . But I’ve seen so many of us here I’m so shock and amazed. It refreshing breath taking, but I just fear with this much peace the Bears might take that away 😂😂.

We went to Helen and Ana Ruby Falls last August. It’s a beautiful falls but that hike is no joke!!!😳
