      I really like these videos but I find one thing difficult. I have not got the sponsors for the stadiums and hence the teams that play there memorized. It is a pain to have to keep pausing the video to remind myself which team plays at each stadium. Please say the team name after the stadium name.

    Watching this rundown makes me appreciate the effort MLB franchises have made in trying to go away from the multipurpose stadium and embrace a classical modern design. MLB stadium design is a lot better now than when I was a kid. Many of those stadiums, Old Busch Stadium in particular, were pretty bad looking.

  • @downskated
    @downskated 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

    PNC is number 1, with the bridge and the skyline looming above you, it's the best view in baseball especially at night. Then you have Busch a close second. And a close Third is the Giants ballpark, the bay view is great during day games, but loses out because once the sunsets you lose the best selling point to a black void.

      @SFbayArea94121 Don't accuse of such degeneracy, I have more self respect than to sink to such levels. It's more like I've eaten of the Pittsburgh golden nectar, The Primanti Bros sandwich. Besides the San Francisco Bay isn't that pretty, the Outer Banks have you beat, much less the Chesapeake Bay and Norfolk sound.

  • @ymcairedellbball
    @ymcairedellbball 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

    Great rundown. Agree with all your rankings. Sorry my Busch Stadium didn't get #1, but I agree that PNC and Oracle are better. One nitpicky note: "unique' is not a relative term, meaning it can't be paired with words like "really" or other qualifying adjective. Something that is unique is one of a kind, the only one. A prototype is unique because it's the only one. Mt. Rushmore is unique because it the only rock face with four president faces. Seattle's stadium is unique because, as you pointed out, it's the only retractable dome stadium with permanently open sides. Does that makes sense? Sorry to go on a mini rant. It's just a pet peeve.

  • @DavidLimofLimReport

    Identical top 3 haha - had Pittsburgh no. 2 and St Louis no. 3.
    San Francisco will always be top :-) Been to the higher decks and nothing beats it in most sports let alone MLB. Only downside is the cold weather in summer (compared to the rest of the country) although blame that on San Francisco rather than the stadium (Wellington, NZ has the same issues).

    One of the many reasons I love baseball is because of the ballparks.

    Respectfully disagree putting Nats Park and Coors field so low. Nats park if you sit in the upper deck down the first base line you get a great view of the US Capital building.
    Coors Field upper Deck gives great views of the mountains and if the games going on at the right time, can get a beautiful view of the sun setting behind the mountains

    Being from Boston, I disagree with the ranking of Fenway. The view in real life is vastly better than how it appears if you just look at images online. The signs you can see when someone hits a home run over the Monster are iconic, and Green Monster itself is a sight to behold, breathlessly. And some of the view is unseen, even. Everybody there knows that out-of-the-park home runs are breaking windows in a parking lot across the street, or getting caught by kids on the street. Just because you can't SEE the view from photos doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

  • @moonytheloony6516
    @moonytheloony6516 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I don't get how Coors Field doesn't have much to see, especially with a large mountain range out there which is quite amazing to see from the upper deck of the stadium. It's a well-documented view that's part of the appeal of Coor's Field.
    The other thing that seemed a bit odd to me was the acknowledgment of the backdrop of Kauffman Stadium and yet the Dodger Stadium view was dismissed. Both have a view of green rolling hills which is a shared dynamic.
    Scoreboards, in my opinion, shouldn't factor into a panoramic setting...because every stadium has a scoreboard, it's a redundant dynamic. What is beyond the scoreboard is the view.
    Scoreboards/Video boards should have their own separate review.

    Really cool video! I've been to 3 stadiums and want to get to all of them. Of course living in Detroit I've been to Comerica Park countless times and I grew up going to old Tiger Stadium. I've been to Progressive Field and I love that ballpark. Yes they did botch up right field but it's still a great Stadium. I've been to old Cleveland Municipal Stadium and even though it was old and dumpy it had character. Finally I've been to Great American Ballpark on Cincinnati and I loved that ballpark too. I also have been to the old Riverfront Stadium for both football and baseball and it was a dump both! Back in the 90s my friends and I drove down to Cincinnati from Detroit to see the Miami Dolphins play the Bengals and it was a chance for us to see Dan Marino and Coach Don Shula. As we're walking around the concourse of Riverfront we saw a rat run by us lol. Still it was a fun day and weekend spending it in the Queen City.

    It doesn’t look like Citi field has a good view, but on the upper levels you can see the Flushing skyline and Whitestone Bridge. Of course they’re still far away.
    If you really want a good NYC view go to the side facing left side of the stadium or behind home plate to the upper level and watch look through the fence up top. The staircases on that side have a good view as well. Especially during sunset.
