You have your hands full with this project. Its amazing at just how much this car looks like a 1961 Thunderbird. Same door handles, tail lights, the engine compartment is identical, etc. Good luck.
I'm coveting your find. I love the early 60s Ford wagons. My first car in the 70s was a 63 Country Squire that my Aunt special ordered from Ford. Blue with blue interior, XL package car. Bucket seats, console shift, AC and a Thunderbird 390. Sold it in 77 for 350 bucks. Oh the pain. Still love the old Galaxies.
Well that is one option. I just think it is so cool , but to quote my wife from earlier this morning “Just sell the damn thing!” I am located near Winnipeg Canada.
Good score !

Thanks. Really like the 61’s.
This wagon is begging to be restored to it's original glory. Everything is original and it has no rust. This would be a beautiful wagon restored.

Ohhh, yeah, I feel your pain. The XL package is especially nice
Restore, but add power. And surf boards...
Yeah, that sounds good.
I sold a 61 country squire two years ago glad I got rid of it fought me for five years
Old cars are definitely a Love - Hate relationship. Was it a driver? Restoration? Hot Rod Wagon? Drag Car, or???
