A SHORT STORY OF OUR TRIP TO BEAUTIFUL VILLAGE
At a distance of two kilometers from Kodaikanal , there is a place called Vatta Kanal.At a Ten kilometers from there is a beautiful village in the middle of the hills.Our two day trip was there It takes a three hour walk to reach that village. If everyone in that town wants to come to Kodaikanal Town , they have to come to this hall where there is no road. An interesting thing about that village is that no one should wear sandals when they are in the village . Even if new people come to the village , they should leave their sandals outside the town because there are many temples surrounding the village. But the students there can wear sandals while going to study in the school campus. The main deity they worship is Karuppasamy . We stayed in that village for that whole day but we didn't see a single primary health facility. People there use local medicine for small snake bites and small beetle bites and etc. If you see the school, there is only class one to class five. If you want to study beyond class Stx and above, you have to go out of town and come back.
