If you want similar bands from Argentina i recommend "La renga" , "Patricio rey y sus redonditos de ricota" and their song "ji ji ji" for starters, Riff , Callejeros , Pappo's blues, Hermetica and Almafuerte. Other good bands are Seru giran, Spinetta Jade, Pescado rabioso and invisible (But these ones are more Progressive rock like, however they are pretty good)
The lead guitar player (Walter Giardino) also had his own solo project called "Temple". Check the song "Corte Porteño", which is quite similar to this song, there's a little metal version fragment of a tango in there. :) Another interesting and modern band, quite different and pretty much unknown nevertheless, is Arraigo, which combines folk, tango and Latin American rythms with metal. The songs Mambolindoquilombo or Carnaval de Soledades could be a good introduction to them. Cheers! :)
The Legend of the Wizard and the Fairy Lyrics Letra y música: Walter Giardino This is the story of a wizard Who wandered the enchanted forest in pain Cause in spite of his magic He hadn´t been able to find any love. The moonlight his only one friend Gave him the energy to tolerate, The torment that he was feeling Taking the blame for his own loneliness. It´s that he knew very well that in his life, He was supposed not to escape his endless fate. If someone should love you once, you´ll know in time You´ll only have to be ready to spot the moment. He was walking down the forest When he felt a stranger was looking at him. It was is beautiful fairy The one he had always been trying to meet. From that moment it was written The fairy and the wizard Were longing to be. Together in the deep forest Loving each other for eternity. The evil which was always there Just couldn´t bear To see them happy and bright With great delight And with his anger he attacked Until he put her to sleep And she fell into a bad dream Where she could not feel. The wizard wandered his castle Looking for power To bring his love back. And to return to his fairy The most tender look that she had always had. He didn´t stop for a second Planning the best way To make her wake up And to save her from the evil Spirit who´d managed to make him feel sad. And now he knows what love is And that he´ll have Enough power to tolerate The fairy´s absence. He knows one day he will see His lovely fairy come back And they will happily live forever after.

The Legend of the Wizard and the Fairy Lyrics
Letra y música: Walter Giardino
This is the story of a wizard
Who wandered the enchanted forest in pain
Cause in spite of his magic
He hadn´t been able to find any love.
The moonlight his only one friend
Gave him the energy to tolerate,
The torment that he was feeling
Taking the blame for his own loneliness.
It´s that he knew very well that in his life,
He was supposed not to escape
his endless fate.
If someone should love you once,
you´ll know in time
You´ll only have to be ready
to spot the moment.
He was walking down the forest
When he felt a stranger was looking at him.
It was is beautiful fairy
The one he had always been trying to meet.
From that moment it was written
The fairy and the wizard
Were longing to be.
Together in the deep forest
Loving each other for eternity.
The evil which was always there
Just couldn´t bear
To see them happy and bright
With great delight
And with his anger he attacked
Until he put her to sleep
And she fell into a bad dream
Where she could not feel.
The wizard wandered his castle
Looking for power
To bring his love back.
And to return to his fairy
The most tender look
that she had always had.
He didn´t stop for a second
Planning the best way
To make her wake up
And to save her from the evil
Spirit who´d managed to make him feel sad.
And now he knows what love is
And that he´ll have
Enough power to tolerate
The fairy´s absence.
He knows one day he will see
His lovely fairy come back
And they will happily live forever after.

So glad u enjoy the Leyend of the fairy & The wizzard 😜 lots of love from 🇦🇷 you should react to Asspera - El Ritual del Pueblo, or if you preffer kinda pop rock Soda Stereo - Profugos (live 2007 gira me veras volver)
Thank you Sebastian for your suggestions and for always being there for us! : )
@@danasfaith5738 always supporting nice and kind people and of course a lil extra if they want to know a lil bit of my culture 🙂🇦🇷Argentina is always open to the world 😃🤘🏻 hugs ladies!
@@danasfaith5738 btw Rata Blanca is one of the most loved / hated bands here, not metal and some others loves the band but the hardcore metal fans indeed doesn't like them so much but everyone respect them so much, Argentina its always sooo passional is a black or white for everything you ar from Buenos Aires or from the other provinces, Boca or River ( 2 Fútbols team / a.k .a. soccer) Redondos or Soda Stereo, Rata Blanca or Hermetica ( more social thrash metal band ever here) etc soo it's nice to see how people react to this band without being an Argentinian cuz you listening as it really is a freacking amazing band and song ... a song from 1990 recorded in Argentina with a humble budged. 🙂🤘🏻
@@SebaVDP WOW! Thank you so much for all of that information! I guess it is somehow similar but equal to the Metallica vs Megadeth debate? Mia and I are just happy to listen to beautiful songs from master musicians! And Rata Blanca is no exception! They are awesome!
Is their second album, the first one it's amazing, AOR or Hard Rock seems Rainbow
Rata Blanca is a great metal classic argentinian band. Thanks for reacting to these talented musicians, they are awesome! Like you said the song is really powerful.
Really cool that you girls make an effort to appreciate music out of your age group. This takes me back to the 80s when I started to research the bands that were the influences to my favorite bands. Good music is timeless. I'll subscribe and follow your journey. Felicidades niñas, you Rock!

continue reacting with other songs by rata blanca they will not disappoint saludos desde Argentina
Sounds close to Run To The Hills, by Iron Maiden. Been trying learn Spanish. Eventually understand the lyrics.
The Legend of the Wizard and the Fairy Lyrics
Letra y música: Walter Giardino
This is the story of a wizard
Who wandered the enchanted forest in pain
Cause in spite of his magic
He hadn´t been able to find any love.
The moonlight his only one friend
Gave him the energy to tolerate,
The torment that he was feeling
Taking the blame for his own loneliness.
It´s that he knew very well that in his life,
He was supposed not to escape
his endless fate.
If someone should love you once,
you´ll know in time
You´ll only have to be ready
to spot the moment.
He was walking down the forest
When he felt a stranger was looking at him.
It was is beautiful fairy
The one he had always been trying to meet.
From that moment it was written
The fairy and the wizard
Were longing to be.
Together in the deep forest
Loving each other for eternity.
The evil which was always there
Just couldn´t bear
To see them happy and bright
With great delight
And with his anger he attacked
Until he put her to sleep
And she fell into a bad dream
Where she could not feel.
The wizard wandered his castle
Looking for power
To bring his love back.
And to return to his fairy
The most tender look
that she had always had.
He didn´t stop for a second
Planning the best way
To make her wake up
And to save her from the evil
Spirit who´d managed to make him feel sad.
And now he knows what love is
And that he´ll have
Enough power to tolerate
The fairy´s absence.
He knows one day he will see
His lovely fairy come back
And they will happily live forever after.
Rata Blanca (White Rat) was one of the first and most influential international bands I heard when I was younger before the Internet made everything accessible. This is a nostalgic experience. I would also like to suggest Sepultura from Brasil and their songs War for Territory and Puya from my native Puerto Rico and I can provide links to their best songs and videos. Thank you and I enjoy your reaction as much as I did discovering the music myself.
Thank you so much Angel! If you could provide us with those links that would be great! Thank you for enjoying our reaction!
@@danasfaith5738 Thank you for your response! Like I said, for International Mondays, I offer Sepultura’s Beneath the Remains and War for Territory. From Puerto Rico, I offer PUYA’s Ride - m.th-cam.com/video/KbCLjKcLz24/w-d-xo.html or Down - m.th-cam.com/video/gySa0jrY6Og/w-d-xo.html or a new song they put out after many years, Viento - m.th-cam.com/video/TiaSQibObxo/w-d-xo.html . Thank you again and keep the great reactions coming.
Todavía recuerdo cuando vinieron a Venezuela. Fue un de los mejores conciertos a los que he asistido.
Wow thanks for the video......I cant say I know who this is but I like it and you both were awesome as always!!!
The guitarist has crazy skills! Mia and I are still trying to understand his talent! LOL! This was a great song! It seems that the entire band is individually talented! We are very happy that we reacted to Rata Blanca! We had never heard of Rata Blanca, we are thankful that our TH-cam family insisted in this band! : ) Hi Leena!
