Met him in the parking before the show and he got me a ticket. He gave me a big hug and we walked into the backstage entrance with his arm around me. I just went to try to see him, didn't expect to get in for free! One of the nicest musicians I have ever met.

I am just now seeing this video of my favourite R&R personality.
What a gorgeous and handsome man and with his natural hair
He certainly never needed to put on any makeup or wig.
    I love him so much.
RIP Little Richard. So happy he found himself in the arms of his Creator despite his struggles on this Earth.
He will be greatly missed for his sincerity, humility and love for everyone.

I am never tired of listening to Little Richard's music....and this is from the 50s and ,60s.
Goes to show good music never dies.
And he never wrote any songs after he wrote these songs nor did any recordings.
He just performed all over the world spreading love and joy.

LOL. I been on a Jimi Hendrix kick the last few days. Then I wondered if Prince ever covered Jimi. Well, he did at the 2007 Super Bowl. As I write this, I'm watching vids of Jimi and Prince. Now I see this of Richard. I made a list of eight artists: Richard, James Brown, Jimi, Prince, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz, and Bruno Mars. Alright, LOL. One concert. 150 dollar tickets. You can take someone with you. You get $200 dollars for meal and transport. Who you gon' see? Well, I eliminated Bruno first. Then Lenny, followed by Stevie. Then . . .Michael Jackson. Now I'm stuck with Prince, Jimi, JB, and Richard. I'm not sure who goes next. You would think that Richard would be the one because it was so long ago, but just watching this video here, you could see the energy he brought. This was 60 years ago damn near. He could still get that same response to day. He always said he was the real king of rock and roll and he might have a point. He had Jimi with him, who inspired Prince. Prince, who looked like LIttle Richard.
      Im still deciding. LOL!

He was a beast on stage, just rip it up. When I was a kid, my Mother had her old record player and heaps of 45 rpm records, and I found Little Richard in those. I'd listen to them for hours on end. My Mother was an Elvis fan, but give me Little Richard any day. We still have those old 45 rpm records, but no record player.
Little Richard got me interested in music, then I listened to Chuck Berry on guitar, that got me going on guitar.

In 1987 I was only 16 and I took the bus to the Hollywood Blvd just to take a stroll all by myself. As I was walking a black limo slowed down and then brought down one of the back windows and lo and behold jaja Little Richard started waving and smiling at everyone from his window. I thought I was tripping so I looked around me and of course other people started noticing it too. I was surprised that he wanted to say hi to regular folks. He was a good guy. A humble Rock Star.

"Elvis was an integrator and blessing for black music, he opened the door for us black singers because they didn't let us in" words of Little Richard himself' "Before Elvis there was nothing" words of John Lennon! Tutti Frutti was the first hit of Little Richard was of 1955. @@alfredalvarez218 Not so much in European venues. Much less restricted, very often, concert halls didn't have seating at all so people sat in circles, danced, smooched and did other fun stuff (besides a little rioting every now and then). But my memory is somewhat hazy I have to admit.
