Rest in peace to your grandfather. I love that you guys didn’t know his age because it was the same with my great grandfather. His obituary said he was 86 when he passed but he told me he was 86 at my HS graduation which was 8 years before he passed I said we needed to cut him open and count the rings to get his true age. He too was a funny man til the end!

My papa (grandfather) was my whole world as a kid and when he passed I was so devastated. But y'all are absolutely right, when I think of him I can't help but smile remembering the kind old man who made me feel so special and loved. 🥰 Love y'all!!

Thank you sharing the story about you Grandfather. I lost my great aunt today and she was in her 80's as well. She lived a good life and we have great memories. This does place aging in perspective. ❤

It definitely helps to have a sitter or designated person outside of the family to watch the furbabies your the ceremony. We had our boys come down with our former groomer, and it was really cute. But before she got there, they freaked out, ran around downtown, and my husband and his grandmother had to chase them down and catch them. Our groomer - thankfully - arrived not too long after and cleaned them up as they were covered in fear poo, lol. She then took them home with her (when we hadn't asked her to previously) until my in-laws picked them up later. I knew none of this until after the day was over. Forever grateful for her! Thank you for coming to my TED Talk, lol. 🥴😅

I had two separate husbands on two separate occasions lol, contact me because of something I said to their wives. The first was after I was telling the wife about a virtual gathering (of women) that was had that she missed; but no worries, you can catch the next one. The husband calls me all, "What's this about a meeting?". If sis felt like she was left out on purpose she could have said that to me. The husband had no business calling me. Case #2: Me and the sister talking and she's telling me they are about to get married. And so I'm like, Where y'all gonna live at after y'all get married? The husband message me all, "I would appreciate you not getting so personal with my wife". Well, dang, I just wanted to come see her, dang, nevermind 🙄.

We wanted to elope in MX. I wanted Cabo or Cozumel because I wanted a party vibe. The exact reasons you listed are the reasons why we ended up having a full mini wedding and getting married on a FL beach. Yes, you read that right. We ended up having a 25 person wedding versus our original idea of like 10-12 b/c we knew most ppl werent going to be able to make it to MX. Mind you 40 were invited. I felt so disrespected because these were the SAME people I was considering when our OG idea was MX and they didnt even show up in the end. Do what you want & have no regrets about anything. I regret even considering other folks pockets, time and PTO. I told my husband he was right :') and he said we can do what we want at our 5yr anni. My theme will be "fuck them folks". I learned my lesson.

I'm pretty traditional so in general, I don't believe that men should address women in a confrontational way; however, in the reality world, the men should get the opportunity to respond when their names are being brought up. I, also, agree that if possible, if the man in question has an issue with another's man's wife, he should discuss it with the husband first.
However, Kenya thinking she gets a pass to talk about the men and they don't get to respond is ridiculous.

I don't think you should take your dog. The pictures will be cute but the trouble involved with getting ready to go, traveling there, being there (in a new environment), then also being in the wedding. You asking a lot for Monty to behave. It is going to cause you or Kev not to enjoy your day
