If anyone young is watching - I want you to know. The 80's were exactly like this. You kids would call it an acid trip. To us, it was just another day.

A renaissance happens once in an age, if at all. For music it was the late 70’s to early 90’s i.e. the 80’s.

Absolutely, Rock, Prog-Rock, R&B, Funk, Electro, Disco (rather you like it or not, very important part of the 70’s for millions of disco fans), Doo Wop, Electro, Free-Style/early rap, Ambient, Dance, New Wave, New Romantic, Punk & I would venture to say, most of best Movie Soundtracks are from the 70’s & 80’s….yes indeed…best 20 years for sure, thank god we were there to experience it, on a dam near, weekly basis, I was in the record stores every week buying albums & 12inch singles of all genres….there nothing like it in the world, going into a record store & buying filling your bag with albums from Zep, Scorpions, Stevie Wonder, YES, Pink Floyd, Earth Wind & Fire, Gordon Lightfoot, Santana, Kraftwerk, The Police, AC/DC, Kiss & Marvin Gaye🤘😲✌️…I remember that day well, and that was only one week of buying music for me at age 15…and still had enough money to buy a burger & a coke😅😅😅

@@MiamiVisor Yep, this was an era when synthesizers ruled supreme as did the naysayers BUT there was no "program: hit record" button, they were played, often totally manually, live. There were no Digital Audio Workstations back then just people and their fingers! ...and basic sequencers, I know because I was one of them :-)

Fantastic artist had all of his 12" records back in the day. He was a trained pianist, very talented. Glad that he dropped that silly feckin mime artist after this first single though....!! LOL! And the 12" of this is excellent....
And he's still going strong btw...👍😊❤️🎹🎼
