There is a method to spinning! I know this is a late post but I had the double washer. I had to give it away because I could no longer lift it into the tub to place it on the two plastic milk crates. Now what helps when placing the clothes in the spinner is to place them in a circle, just don’t throw them in there. Example: Sheet! Take the long end of the sheet ends and place it in the basket, hold the rest of the sheet and place it in the basket going around in a circle until the sheet is all the way in the basket and place the last end in the middle of that circle. Then put the spinner lid on mashing it down to make sure it’s nice, level and snug in there. Now for Jeans, fold in half, waist to waist, place the heavier part in the basket first which will be the wasteline and again place in spinner basket going around in a circle, place ends of pant in the middle of circle. Place spinner lid in there mashing it down to level the garment. Now it shouldn’t be so shaky. If it’s shaking the garment isn’t level. By placing it in a circle ⭕️ it will spin better. It’s physics! 🎉
I'm pinning this. It will be helpful to other people. There's been nothing I can do to keep it from rocking. We just discovered that one of the legs is slightly shorter than the others. A really thick, folded washcloth under that leg keeps it from rocking as much. So, for me it's always going to rock. However, what you wrote will be so helpful for other people! I thank you for it.
@@BeBodacious You’re welcome. Yes placing the clothes in a circle then mashing down to a tight secure fit can help with the rocking. Just make sure the spinner lid is horizontally leveled. I’m looking to buy one like yours. I’m just waiting for a good price. I just hope the little spinner bin stay secure while spinning. Thanks for the review. You’re helping a lot of people 👍👍
I have the larger version of this. Im 64 and its getting a little hard to lift it in and out of my tub. This looks like an excellent replacement for me!!
FINALLY I’ve been wanting to see reviewers wash towels, bed sheets & pillow cases. THANK YOU! Now this video is a year old, do you still have it? Is it still working?
I still have it but don't use it often. The spinner is weak. Spinners on the twin tubs outperform this one. It's fine for van life and camping if doing light clothing.
What the manufacturer doesn't tell us, is that the weight they mention is wet weight (4.5lbs). So in order not to strain the motor, you want to put in 2.25lbs of dry clothes. You can fill the spin basket with clothes and that will give you the right amount. Two sheets is definitely too heavy.
Two normal weight sheets would be to heavy. These are extra light polyester sheets that I use for camping / van life. They wash fine together. But no, I wouldn't suggest putting two regular weight sheets in this machine.
Just bought this from Amazon and hopefully it will not wobble like yours is doing in your tub. Do you still have this? Is it long lasting? Please reply, I only use it for T-Shirts socks and light weight pjs. So how long does this last? Oh all washer and dryer’s always says not to over load them. Oh on the video on Amazon shows they not using the bath tub. Oh I myself wouldn’t put in queen sheets or king size sheets, I have twin bed so thinking sheets not a good idea, These type of small machines are not the big regular washer and dryer’s. I suggest washing lighter weight items
To me, drying is the only reason a gadget is more useful than just a bucket and your hands. When we car camped in europe and washed in a tiny little vehicle, I put the clothing in a zipped vacuum bag with enough water to get them wet and see liquid around them , slushed it around for a few minutes, then emptied and rinsed then squeezed by hand, then used a big towel and flattened out the wet clothes on it and rolled as tightly as I could. The garments came out slightly damp but not dripping and could be hung inside the vehicle if we weren't allowed to hang outside(car park or whatever). We did that for 2 weeks and its how I would do it if I lived in a place with no washer. Drying is the biggest challenge, especially bigger items.
This makes sense. Drying is where this machine lets us down. For me, I can't use the method you describe because arthritis in my hands won't let me squeeze tightly. It's not a bad idea for anyone that can use it though.
How exciting! Let me know your thoughts. The only thing I dislike about mine is that the spinner doesn't spin well. I'll look forward to hearing what you think.
@@BeBodacious Yes, I agree the spin dry is weak, but also it beats hand wringing. I'm currently able to line dry many things as it's still warm out. When most of the item is almost dry, I can finish drying in the Panda mini dryer I also bought which is also not very powerful. I'm not sure how it will be when it's too cold to hang & pre-dry first. Overall I'm happy with my Zeny as far as washing goes, as long as I don't over load it everything gets clean. 👍 Obviously, big bedding & thick sheets & comforters go to the laundromat. I wash 2 regular size bath towels at a time easily. But my Zeny has saved me from twice a week to once in 4 weeks, headed there tomorrow for the first time since I got my machine. 🙂
@@BeBodacious Yes the spinner is so weak I invested in a Ninja spin dryer. I just got it this week. What a difference. Clothes are almost dry. Then a short time in the Panda mini dryer, and In finished. Not worried about winter coming anymore.👍
I just got mine and I have so many questions 1. Do you keep the spinning basket out of the machine while washing the clothes? 2. Do you need the other pipe attachment for it? 3. Can you also use fabric beads as well?
No 👎 also make sure it is on a level service. Do not wash woolen or large knits in it. This is my 2nd machine, and my 1st one lasted 8 years. Do the rinse the same way you did the wash. Do not use fabric softener. Use white vinegar it softens and keeps the machine cleaner.
Hi there! How is it going for your? It may take a little bit, but I'm always glad to answer questions. Hopefully these answers will help. 1. You only use the spinning basket and cap while the clothes are spinning. 2. So far, I've only needed the second pipe/hose at campgrounds. 3. I use a tiny bit of liquid detergent rather than beads or pods. Those might overwhelm the machine. I also make sure to rinse the clothes very well if using fabric softener. Even then, I only use about a half teaspoon. You don't need much in these little machines.
I did not do it in the tub to begin with and I wish I had the water came out so fast I didn't have a bucket ready I didn't have it on a table I will probably put it in my shower the next time
wow, it will take 5 loads to do 8 lbs of clothes which is not a lot. I don't think I should have ordered it. I have Zeny portable that no longer spins, so I got this mini. It is going back
I just got mine a few days ago, I've been putting it in my tub to wash, drain. I washes great, but spinning the clothes in the basket is so noisy and it shakes a lot.
I have a hard time getting the spinner basket lid to stay on mine did not come in with setup instructions only safeguard instructions so I don't know how the lid is supposed to secure to the top I tried several different ways but they don't seem to stay
Does your basket have a ring around the top? Mine is about 1" deep and comes off. The lip on that helps hold the spinner cap down. You have to put the cap in sideways a little to maneuver it in place. After that it just fits loosely on top of the clothes.
No worries. It's confusing without directions. Here's how it goes. Wash and drain. Put the clothes in the basket to spin the soapy water out. Take the clothes out of the basket and add clean water to the washer. Set the timer to "wash" another few minutes. Put the clothes in the basket to spin the rinse water out Hang to dry.
no they don't spin correctly or all the water out! iv owned one and did a better job still with my hands very disappointing! read my other comment I'm just being honest!🥰
The one I bought is a double tub and it claims to be extremely quiet is it is it exactly the way you're using yours do I use mine cuz the instructions were horrible
Double tubs are really the way to go. I have the Best Choice and Kuppet brands. May I ask which you have? This one washes lightweight items well. Not pants or heavy items. It's okay for the van but I'd definitely go twin tub for daily use.
You'll need one of the bigger machines for that. A twin will fit in my Best Choice washer though. The Best Choice twin tub isn't available now but this washer matches the specs amzn.to/3H0M4RF
good luck with that! I purchased one and was so disappointed! when I used the spinner it shook really bad clothes still damp look ppl don't purchase this product unless you want to be angry and not get things done! I recently purchased the zeny twin tub way way better! amazing load after load gets clothes clean and spins clothes close to dry! fork out that little bit more to get the twin tub the ones like these are horrible! I'm being more than honest you'll thank me later! iv had 4 learned a lot on weight performance and overloading it and the amount of soap to use! saving 40 extra dollars and getting this kind will be a waist of money and frustration! but you do what ever you want I'm just passing some real advice from personal experiences!🙆🏽
You're not kidding. My twin tub machines spin better. This one washes really well but the spinner is a major letdown. I'm using it in the van because of space constraints. It's okay for basics but doesn't replace a twin tub or regular home model.
Should have watched before buying the same brand and model, I knew the twin tub was better but the price was why I bought it.. next time I'll know better🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Oh no! It's working out for me for occasional use in van life. I'm not sure it would work for everyday use because of the spinner. Are you within the return period?
The bathtub is as level as any other. I put it on two 2x4s to improve drainage. The machine rocks and scoots when it's working no matter what surface it's on. Styles like the Zeny twin tub or Best Choice twin tub rock much less and spin better.

Is it the spinner is weak for thicker clothes and better for thinner? Or just all clothes?
The thinner the better. I wouldn't try towels or pants.

I am also impressed with the washing capability. The spinner has me shaking my head. I'm not sure there's a good solution for it.
