  • Choose your hotel in Tokyo Ginza, Japan here! We stayed at a stylish hotel just a 1-minute walk from Ginza-itchome Station, the center of sightseeing!
KOKO HOTEL Ginza 1-chome is a stylish casual hotel located in a very convenient location for sightseeing and shopping in Ginza and Kyobashi.
This time, I used this hotel as my base and went to the Art Aquarium Museum GINZA in Ginza Mitsukoshi to admire the beautiful dancing goldfish art and stroll around Ginza at night.
Please feel free to watch it like a vlog.

Great video. I am concerned about the goldfish. Some of the tanks look too small for the larger ones. I hope they are not stressed?

      I was thinking the same.
I am quite worried. Most of the tanks are so small that there is no place for them to hide. No plants, nothing at all.
      It makes me really sad.

It is true that there are a certain number of similar opinions in Japan. The operating company also takes that opinion into consideration when operating the facility. Thank you for your valuable feedback.

If they're all hooked up to a giant sump, at least the water will be clean. None of them seem too stressed out.

I find these tiny restaurants fascinating. Not many seats, so do they deal with take out mostly, or are they just that small? Agree with the other about the fish bowls. Some are too small and no helpful decor for the fish. Question : Why do hotels and ferries provide pajamas and slippers? In America, I always take my own. Thanks for sharing your trip.

Answer to the question: In Japan, it is culturally standard for hotels to provide their own food. It's a big piece of luggage, and it may be a sign of hospitality. However, recently more and more hotels are starting to rent pajamas for a fee. Disposable slippers are also sold at 100 yen ($1) shops, so this may be because they don't cost much.
Most ramen restaurants generally have few seats. However, takeout is not very popular as the noodles tend to stretch. You can't make a lot of ramen at once, so if it's too big, your customers will have to wait. I think there is also the issue of rent.

How many gold fish were there? I wonder how they feed them all. Lovely hotel. Thank you for informing that there is a lady's floor. No breakfast?

According to the official website, there are approximately 5,000 goldfish of approximately 100 types, including 34 domestically certified varieties!
It's a shame that the hotel itself doesn't provide breakfast, but it's a convenient location, so it's fun to look for various restaurants nearby.
