    I'm honestly blown a way that a train system with junctions and a pressure system *you* designed makes the entire GBC SELF SUFFICIENT!!! Incredible

    It's great to see all the modules working together! Such a neat bunch of mechanisms, kudos to you and the other collaborators in not only making them, but also making them work together! I'd guess that getting them to transfer cleanly is half the work, and probably gets done on-site, not earlier ☺

    That's the *first* time I've ever seen any American/European-type modules in a Japanese GBC! The American/European modules tend to be mechanically simpler, probably for ease of service. Japanese modules tend to be mechanically complex, which are cool, but if *one* thimg breaks, that builder likely has to spend HOURS taking the module apart to fix it.

    Why are the Japanese modules always so much cooler than the American ones? Nobody ever themes a belt lift over here.
    Oh well, at least we have a 6-foot Ferris wheel.

    I had the impression that the tables weren't as level as the ones used in akiyuki's demonstration videos, or the constant stress of operation breaks down a lot of akiyuki's fine tuned builds. There were a lot of ball collection points I noticed, largest that comes to mind being the six heads (5 heads?) right at the beginning.
    They should have leveled those tables better for you akiyuki! Great builds besides. I like how you dominated the event by quantity and style!

    You truly live in a different world/culture in Japan than in the west. That 0:50 swastika would never have gone down well in an American lego-con, or lord forbid it a Central European one. I know of the differences, just pointing it out.
    That said, it is always interesting to see the "history of akiyuky modules" that these videos end up being, with some spice provided by how they interlink with other people's designs, both in the litteral sense and in the grander design challenge of the order that the modules go in.

    • @hansmuller4338

      plus japan was part of the nazi axis, so the uncritical handling of a swastica is espacially bad.
      germany guy here. this is just a no go.

    • @Matze239
      @Matze239 6 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Thats not a swastika, its a so called manji.
      In Japanese slang, manji now has an array of meanings. According to My Navi, kids say it when they’re taking photos like the English word “cheese,” and it’s also used to refer to mischevious or excitable personality. As with the the original character, which can mean mercy or good fortune, its slang version has various definitions.
      It’s not to be confused with the Nazi swastika, which certainly could happen. This character is the manji.

      FELIX Same symbol, different meaning. Just as i said, different culture. Not good, not bad, simply problematic if it was done in many other places. Call it the Swastika or the Manji, the symbol persists even if the symbolism does not.

    • @Matze239
      @Matze239 6 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      LucAs Bune its not the same symbol. The nazi swastika is turned clockwise, not counter-clockwise

    • @josephdavis2695

      Probably all just LEGO Mindstorms

    • @JJTheDev
      @JJTheDev 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you saw those big black boxes with yellow knobs, those are battery box type things that go into power function motors. Each one has their own (because they need the amperage) but there are some exceptions, some use mindstorm (sometimes multiple), though I didn't see those in this video (didn't finish), while others use but in battery boxes, namely the train modules.

    • @JJTheDev
      @JJTheDev 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Each module uses just rotational energy and turns that into other types of movement
