That's a very nice looking and innovative razor.
Fascinating that traditional equipment is evolving in design and style, sensational finish and look to the razor.
Congratulations on receiving this razor! Looks amazing, can’t wait to see the review. It might be a bit rich for me, but if it’s good I’ll save the pennies! I’d like to hear you thoughts on how it compares to existing tatara razors and of course the Rex.

Very cool looking DE. I like to see the innovation in the adjustment mechanism. Would have been easy to copy existing ways but this I think will be a game changer.
Kevy👍👍 Noticed this razor sometime back and thought it was a cool idea. Not only does the blade exposure change but the gap as well. Tatara makes quality razors for sure. Ability to completely disassemble for cleaning is a plus. Thanks for the video presentation. Enjoy!

Really cool razor! Before I saw you take it apart, I was concerned water would get into the hole where you see the adjustment #s and go down into the handel, but it seems like that won't be an issue with how it is designed. Again, Really cool razor design 😎👌

Dang that's a cool design. Next step would be having interchangeable "slidey plates" to adjust the blade gap. Then you can dial in blade gap and blade exposure.
Blade gap and exposure change as you twist the dial, according to Tatara's web site.

How to fully disassemble and clean the razor:
1. Take a day off from your job..
2. Open Kevy's video.
3. Buy a packet of toothpicks.
4. Some liquid detergent.
5. Be patient and do not expect a full clean razor.

Sweet! I tried to get in on the pre order but didn’t work out.
Great looking razor kevy! But......I am not buying adjustables as I mess about with them during a shave and it spoils the experience. I am not classing the 6s in this. I still have my two adjustable razors but prefer a non adjustable and stick with it through the shave. I may change the plate down on the Rockwell but I don't class this as fiddling!! 🤣🤣🤣. I will look forward to your review of it mate.

Is the quality better than a Rex razor? Cause that's some fine looking razor, but the price is off putting.
It's the same in build quality as the Rex but for me, its a more useable razor through the settings. Kevy 🙂

kev, how easy/hard is the drag of the adjustment? while shaving, holding with index and thumb up there, do you see it unwanted twisting while flipping sides, washing it, aso or is this a unfounded concern?
quality looks good, not so sold about design and price - well and not sure about the function itself to be honest, maybe you have some input on it. thx.

I guess my only question would be, would you buy one had you not been given one? Considering of course other available options. Seems like there's no amount of engineering that would warrant that price 😅 a "Tat-out-touch razor" if you ask me 🙊
I think I would need to try it first before buying or wait for the reviews. There's only been a couple of reviews so far. It is an expensive razor to blind buy but it's sold out already. Cheers. Kevy 👍
Do you notice a small amount of backlash in between the numbers? The plates do not move but there is “wiggle room” in the assembly?

No argument here: it's a very Fine Enthusiast's Razor. It fulfils a niche in the luxury, "I Want It" category more than the practical, "I Need It" category, in my opinion. In other words, it is atrociously expensive and not an item for an everyday consumer of shaving products.

It’s definitely not made for everyone. There will be plenty of people who will buy it though...

I prefer the Tatara. I didn't enjoy the shave I got when using the Rex Ambassador. I sold mine. Kevy 🙂
