I work at a Samsung store and I had a guy bring this exact phone in for repair claiming it was "faulty" and slow. I explained to him why its fake, and compared it to my actual S22 ultra and he still wasnt having it. Claiming he checked the IMEI and saw it was for a real S22 ultra.
He eventually cussed at me and stormed off, fun times.
If he have iq for checking imei.why he didn't know about that werid screen
I'm a Samsung rep and it's so easy to spot fakes for those of us in the business😂

I just almost bought one of these on Ebay. The only suspicion was when I watched videos of the boot menu. Something is missing compared to the original. Below the "Samsung Galaxy" logo. That was the giveaway.

@@Jpatient yes but samsung's software is different. Their apps won't work with any android for example. So I'm curious to see how farther they could copy and if they ported or remade the ui/apps.

They probably just used oneui itself, I see no trouble in making it for other hardware(most xiaomi phones who has unlocked bootloader had some enthusiasts who ported OneUI there)
@@futuretask8466 That's a whole different story. That is a fan made effort. Porting a ROM to other devices is a very hard and a long process. Given that this is a cheap replica I doubt that they even attemped porting the full OneUI. OneUI ROMs have bluetooth problems, wifi problems and many other problems in ported versions. So, I doubt thst they actually put in the effort to full port it, however there are also One UI GSIs so they might've made use of them too.
I bought one of these from backmarket . The seller name is RE-CELL. The rounded screen edges and the big hole punch is exactly what tipped me off . Now that I'm watching this video I'm certain

There is actually a very simple way to test if it's a LCD or a AMOLED, what you do is these steps
1 take a screenshot of the color black ,
go to photos and turn brightness up to max
make it so it only shows rhe photo, and if it still feels like your still being blinded it's a LCD if the screen is completely off then it'd AMOLED
