Final Fantasy NES Final Boss: Chaos

First attempt at fightin Chaos, and I somehow end up winning.
I noticed most people reccomend their team be level 30 when fighting
him, but This video proves you can easily do it lower, with some luck.
For the record, when Chaos uses Cur4, he only had 99 hp left, and
would've died on that turn if he didn't use it. I guess it just made
the battle more exciting! (i.e. longer ._. )

Holy crap, I’m at level 20 and I just beat for the first time. How over leveled am I?

For NES, 20 is not overleveled

I remember the game came with a poster of all the monsters with all of their stats. If memory serves, I think Chaos had 10,000 HP and because the game didnt give boss health bars, I used a calculator to subtract my damage from the 10k to see how close I was to killing him. It seemed like a hard fight back then

Why would you choose the slowest text scroll speed?

Not until I read this comment was I aware of the ability to change the text scroll speed. Let's just say it was to build character.
