- My cousin hasn't been able to go back to India since he left, which was 20+ years ago. We finally worked something out and got his mom and his moms sister to come from India to America for the first time.

How lived 20 years. 1 din mai 3 4 times call krta hun. Can't imagine my life without mom.. Within 6 months i go to meet her once a year she comes to meet me. May Allah give our parents long and healthy life.
So sorry if I have my tears in my face...I feel happy for you guys.

My mother met her parents after 23 years because my Mum and Dad simply couldn't afford to go back to India. It's so sad but they sacrificed their happiness for my sisters and brother. They helped the family back home. My Dad had a little bit of Punjabi mitti- soil which he kept in our altar at home and would bow his head in respect to the motherland. He truly loved India and Punjab. May his and my mother's soul rest in peace.
My mum passed away this month 33years ago always missed waheguru
