Many thanks for this video information being a plug and play thats fantastic you just saved me a few pounds as a service centre said it couldn't be done unless they plugged it into the diagnostic system!
This was an incredibly wonderful video! I have been going round around in circles, trying to find out how to do exactly what you show and everybody or some people anyway say it can’t be done. Obviously, it can cause I saw it right there on your video. I sent you a long email with a bunch of questions before I make an order, but I would like to order all of this components Thank you for a really great video
Hi Mark, Thank you very much for your kind comments throughout our channel. They truly mean a lot to our small team. We also appreciate your order from last week. Our customer service team will respond to your last email shortly. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any further questions 😊 Cheers - Michael
Is the Perion 400 available now? I already have a system Controller mounted in the top tube. If I want to use the Perrion 400 and the Kiox 500 together with my existing system controller what do I use to control them like what buttons? Do I just use the same mini controller button that comes with my existing system controller? It seems better to use the Perion 200. Maybe because it’s wired in and I don’t have to worry about a battery going down.
Just what I was looking for. Thank you. Will fitting the purion 200 along with my Kiox 500 void any warranty. And will there invariably be a system ID conflict which needs to be resolved by a Bosch dealer. As my current dealer is refusing to help me. Any suggestions?
Hi, Thank you for your comment. Retrofitting any official Bosch products does not void the warranty, so you are on the safe side with that. The system ID conflict is inevitable unfortunately. Whenever a "master unit" is exchanged, this happens. If your current dealer doesn't even have 10 minutes to help you with this, I would advise you to go to a different dealer 😉 www.bosch-ebike.com/en/service/dealer-search Cheers - Michael
Maybe I can help, there's a good video out now from another German guy fitting it I followed his advice with the new update 10 to purion 200 amd new flow app update, make sure your led remote is still connected update the flow app then shut the bike down. Fit your purion 200 and switch ebike on, DO NOT update purion 200 from the purion 200 menu itself it will be on software version 8 the new one is V10 of you do update from purion 200 you will start getting error code! To avoid this and any pairing from a bosch dealership, or just don't update the system atoll but it's with the new 1.2.3 April 2024 update you can do this to avoid diagnostic pairing
Hi and thanks for your comment. If you already have a control unit installed, such as the Purion 200 or System Controller, and want to add the Kiox display, then the ID conflict should not occur. This issue only arises if you also replace the control unit, as it serves as the 'brain' of the Bosch system. Cheers - Michael
Hello, I have now in my bike Kiox display (with 2 switch /turn on-off/light) with normal remote (without Led), can I change it to Led Remote + Kiox 500 display?
Hello, thank you for your comment. When your Kiox display has two switches, it is most likely the version for the previous Bosch generation (Bosch Gen 2). In this case, you could not use the LED Remote in the video because it is for the Bosch Smart System only. Please have a look at these two links: www.ebike24.com/bosch-display-kiox www.ebike24.com/bosch-kiox-300-smart-system-display If you have the display like in the first link, it is Bosch Gen 2 and not Smart System, unfortunately. Let me know if you have further questions! Cheers - Michael
Hi and thank you very much for your kind words! The Kiox 500 in the video is compatible with the Bosch Smart System only unfortunately. However, you could use the Kiox display for the Bosch eBike System 2 (your system): www.ebike24.com/bosch-kiox-display-set Cheers - Michael
Hi, I already have the purion 200 installed on my bike. Will then mounting kiox 500 on top of it also cause "id conflict" or there will be no action needed?
Hi, thank you for your comment. If you have already the Purion 200, then the ID conflict should not appear when installing the Kiox 500. The Purion is basically the ‘brain’ of the e-bike system. This means that the ID conflict only occurs if you replace it. Cheers - Michael
I have the LED base unit on my newly purchased Whyte E180 SNX. I want to upgrade to the Purion 200 ... Is this a plug n play unit? In other words, do i need to do any re programming of the motor etc?
Hi there, thank you for your comment. Yes, luckily it is plug and play. If you have the LED remote equipped currently, you can just follow the steps in the video and use the display cable from the base unit for the Purion as well. We did not do any changes to the motor. You can find the Purion here: www.ebike24.com/bosch-purion-200-control-unit Cheers - Michael

Hi Yousuf, thank you very much for your kind words! Yes, this should work. However, the Bosch ID error may still appear regardless. There is not really a way to avoid this at the moment, unfortunately. I hope this helps you! Otherwise, you are welcome to contact our customer service at info@ebike24.com. Cheers - Michael
Maybe had the wrong thickness rubber part in and over tightened it or it wasn't adjusteded enough to clear the top of the lever (sat on top slightly) and pulled down to much to pop the hinge! They are under warranty hopefully ypu get a replacement

Tried to do this. And the bosh software did not recognise my eBike. So had revert back to led remote😢
@@amitshivkumar2561same. I try with other dealer

Is there a Purion type device, that uses Bluetooth instead of cables, and can replace a Bosch Mini Controller with no cable connection? Thanks!
Hi. Sorry, Purion must be wired.

Is there a 200 minimum order to the US? Well my first question should really be if it’s even deliverable to US?
Sorry I just saw your reply! There is no minimum order value for the US and we ship with DHL and UPS.
Hope this helps. Cheers - Michael

The Purion 200 fastening on the handlebar is crap. The hinge is plastic like 1 mm thick. Mine broke and I have no idea how.
Maybe had the wrong thickness rubber part in and over tightened it or it wasn't adjusteded enough to clear the top of the lever (sat on top slightly) and pulled down to much to pop the hinge! They are under warranty hopefully ypu get a replacement
Did you know that you didn't need to take the handlebar and brake off? You could just take the controller off?
why don't you mount a 50" screen also....?!?!?
Well, the larger Purion 400 is here: www.ebike24.com/bosch-purion-400-retrofit-set.
Thanks, Luca
