I know im like five years late, but I was wondering about siberite tourmaline. I've heard of it but there are almoast no pictures of it. Is it just really rare, or is it even real?
Great question! Siberite was the name once used for purplish hue variety of elbaite tourmaline, however the name Siberite is not really used anymore. As far as rarity, it is not very common but this is one stone where rarity does not equate to added value.
