    Really appreciate the clear and useful instructions, offering all types of options with different costs, including using a lot of the existing equipment people may already have. Not a product promo, not dumbing down but also detailed enough to include cables, adapters, which some of the other TH-camrs don't seem to want to bother with. I searched all over the place for my A7Siii until I landed on this one.

    That last tip with the Sony to v mount adapter, and using the battery to power the monitor and the camera simultaneously, I love this idea seeing as I just purchased my first monitor, but still wanna keep my rig small and relatively light weight, thank you for showing these options, this has been a great, straight to the point video!

      Thanks for watching! Yep, I tried to keep it really straightforward and just show what works for me when powering my cameras.
      I still want to try the v-mount battery on a belt! I think it could be a really good solution, especially when running a gimbal and you don't want to hold up all that weight in your arms.

    Thanks for the information, please tell me how safe it is to connect a power bank to a video camera, do you have a lot of experience in this? So that you can safely connect and not worry about anything, not worry, thanks in advance for your answer.

    Thank you for the amazing video. A lot learned. Could you please show the set up of one is using a gimbal. I use the zhiyun weebil 3s and I don’t see a lot of videos showing how to rig with batteries and monitors. Thank you.

      thanks for watching! that's a good idea. i haven't made a video showing how to mount a v-mount battery to a gimbal. i have shown monitors and other rigs, but will have to do this in the future!

    Chadwin, thank you so much for making this video. Question regarding the bonus method: I have a FREEWORLD LUT 5 monitor with a DC Output 8V, and wondering if I can charge the camera through the monitor's NP-F battery? Not sure what accessory I would need to make this happen. DC to USB PD?

    • @chadwin
      @chadwin  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      you should be able to power your camera off of the monitor. check the monitor user manual, usually they tell you what power output it supports and what cables to use!

    I have Hp photosmart 735 old digital camera.
    It has usb port.
    Could I work it with power bank ? Sir..

    • @chadwin
      @chadwin  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      if the usb port on your camera supports power input, then technically a powerbank should also work! the camera doesn't know the difference between a wall outlet vs powerbank as long as the output is the same

    I’d use a powe bank to power my camera as I have a very good one - the problem is, my camera’s so old it doesn’t actually accept USB power lol 😅

    • @chadwin
      @chadwin  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah, that's definitely a problem with the older cameras. My older models when I had them, like the Canon T3i and some others wouldn't accept USB power either. Hopefully your next camera upgrade does!
