@Akh Cho First of all I never even said anything about it being a model or a design… And actually each of the Royal Oak’s are different models with different reference numbers… If you don’t believe me look it up… And also that isn’t isn’t the only watch that Audemars Piguet makes … some other models are the AP Millenary, And the AP Classic Day date dress watch with a thin round round yellow gold face. The Royal Oak is just the most popular and notable design that they have come out with
There are 4 watch brands that hold value or go up. Watches are not investments they are expensive toys. I appreciate Manny showing his watch collection and telling everyone most of them he's lost money on. Buy what you love and what you're going to wear.
Good collection, Manny! But if you want to have a watch collection that's a good investment, Rolex and Patek Phillipe are probably your best bet, both for new and vintage models!

I love watches so when i saw this video i knew i'd love it. the one watch i've promised myself i'll own at some point in my life is a stainless steel Rolex Submariner, i know it's not the craziest watch in the world but its my personal favourite watch ever made, especially the late 90s models, to most people its nothing special but in my opinion its the perfect watch. i also love Skeleton Cartiers but thats a less attainable option compared to the Rolex as they aren't exactly cheap. While i don't particually love any of the watches in your collection it certainly made my mind drift thinking about the ones i do love, maybe one day i'll be the one making a collection video lol.

Rolex aluminum Quartz- bought at Nathan rd. Hong Kong at midnight pop-up market. No papers but Bracelet has sharp edges that double as a ginzu knife. 4. Carter limited edition. Inspired by French version. Standard dial time and has the correct time 2x a day/ everyday of the week.
It would be a different story if you have early day limited editions Panerai (compared to Cartier and Bulgari). Steel Rolex and AP always will shoot up in value because of the demand, while PP is a true investment watch - if you can afford one.

I am a watch fanatic and I commend him on having so much control and not going overboard on watches. Very few watches are worth "investing" in. Even most Rolex sports models that fetch triple retail...they barely feel worth retail let alone triple. This is why most guys who pay grey market prices end up selling it a month later. once the honeymoon hype driven phase wears off, they realize how underwhelming they are and just want to cash out and get their money back! Buy what you will enjoy wearing vs what the masses tell you. If you are buying based on hype and value, you will never enjoy watches!

I think that a watch you'd like is a Rolex Daytona in yellow gold and green dial Also, watches are a great investment, but like cars you need to know what to buy and have to money to buy those that will increase value. Patek, AP, Vacheron, F.P.Journe, A,Longe... are usually great investments and gorgeous watches
I have the Sky dweller, there are no holes on the lugs. That’s just a piece of something in the top right corner of the watch, look on the left side when he opens the box, no holes. Also where the dirt is you can see the bottom right and it’s smooth.
Hey Manny, you should get the new Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing! Its a cheaper car to grow the reach of the channel, but it's still a flagship cadillac. I'm sure you would love it, and be surprised at how it compares to your cars that are 5, 10, even 20 times the price
HA HA I am the same, I have all my watches from day 1, especially the sentimental ones and ones that I bought from milestones in my life. Ironically one of my first ones also was a Raymond Weil. My crown jewel because it was my first expensive watch was my Movado Museum Sport, the original one that was in all the magazines, still have it, still love it.
Not a watch guy at all, but that laminated old time piece would be a super cool decoration in the garage or in your office as a conversation piece manny.
You got incredibly lucky to find that piece in the store. Rolex dealers have been pretty much empty or on never ending waiting lists for quite a while now.
I bought a Rolex DateJust II for my 40th BD and wore it daily for 6 years then decided to sell it and sold it for $600 more than I bought it for. Rolex is always a good investment. I also have had several Panerai watches that never lost their value and they were amazing watches.
