This auction happened December 2022.... Crash sold for $453,000, journe sold $1.2m, AP $441,000, Kevin Daytona $81k, Patek sold $792,000
I expected way more for the ap, it was only seen on ambassadeur wrists up unto that point
@@frankmollee4907no one gives a fuck anymore.
Thanks man.
If I was as rich as those people I'd pay $2M for that AP, absolutely amazing.
Funny how kevin actually was closer on his estimate for the crash
heard about the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime. It's one of the rarest and most expensive watches on Earth.
I've heard about this finance advisor, CHRIS RYAN STEWART . He specializes in helping people invest in luxury items like watches. Has anyone worked with him?
I'm in the same boat as I've got some capital to invest, but I'm not sure where to start. CHRIS RYAN STEWART might be just the person to guide me. I heard once that he is CFP and handles an old friends portfolio
Absolutely, folks. Search his name ONLINE: CHRIS RYAN STEWART. It’s top result. He offers consultations and personalized investment strategies for various luxury assets..
Kevin, seriously, I need my watches back… 😂
Right on!
He’s borrowed mine too. Just selfish 😂
Always enjoy when Kevin and Teddy get together!
Why? What does O'Leary know about watches?
@@margf.6773A good amount. He doesn’t do it for a living, but for an amateur, he’s not a novice and not uninformed.
The point Teddy made about being able to take your watch anywhere, 24 hours a day, is what makes the hobby amazing.
Exactly, probably the best element in the video right at the end!
The comparison to cars (sports cars at least) is questionable though...You can't drive a watch!
@@EEvtgIf you drive a $100k sports car everybody knows & can potentially make you a target, if you wear a $100k watch nobody really knows or cares about it unless they’re into the hobby. I love cars but they take up so much space in your home & you can’t take it with you 24/7
@@BRV2728 Well they're very different things and of course everyones got preferences. I love both, although my level of interaction and connection to cars goes deeper than wearing and winding a watch (regardless of how often I wear a watch, it's a less emotional experience than exploring the "limits" of your car imo).
Regarding being a target, I disagree. I would actually feel MUCH more unsafe wearing an expensive rolex etc out than driving an expensive car. It's easy to spot if someone is following you home, and you can have cameras etc there...but anyone can decide to pull out a gun/knife and rob you at random when you're out walking in public with a nice watch. Everyone knows which watches to look for nowadays too...That's why there's reportedly over $1.3billion worth of stolen watches right now!
The point was made by Paul
Imagine how terrible Kevin could make that blue AP ceramic piece with a red band.
😂
When he put that ugly rubber B band on the gmt Batman. I lost it. Either he has equity in that brand or his chose in straps is god aweful
AP is already becoming like hublot so a red band makes no difference.
@@PwnageJ no
He would, too. 😂
Anyone: talks
Kevin: Interrupts them by repeating the same thing they just said but louder
thats how you climb the ladder baby, say it louder for the people in the back lol
Such Amazing video.
The Rolex represent so much prestige 🔥
I'm currently looking for where to begin putting in some funds that will aid me after retirement. Saving up isn't giving anything in return.
Any suggestions
I have shuffled through a few experts in the past, but settled with LUCY ROSE CARTER.the strategy they use is recession-proof,more specifically profit-oriented.most likely you will find her basic info on the internet.
How can I join in? I will be happy growing my money while giving a few of it away to charity giving back is a good as receiving.
You can browse her name up ONLINE
This is 9 months old, why upload this now?
Results: Cartier $450K, AP $440K, Daniels $816K, Rolex $82K, MB&F $12K, FPJ $1.2mio, PP $800K.
Thank you Kevin and Teddy, always love your videos! Just starting my watch collection and your videos are always a motivator to work hard. Keep up the great work!
It is always a pleasure when Teddy n Kevin are together talking about watches about the video love Patek n F.P Journe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😍😍😍😍
Kevin, let Teddy do more talking, he's the expert in this field. And one more thing, try to enjoy a watch for being art , not just because it is rare, which is a theme you seem to follow in all the videos.
Right. Remember that when some one else is talking, that takes the attention away from Kevin.
George Daniels, FPJ, Smith, Philippe Dufour, and the grail Kari Voutilainen are all amazing pieces.
FP Journe is incredible, but not really sure how you can justify saying it's the 4th pillar of watch collecting
Agreed Would say the trinity then Rolex
Because O'Leary is a idiot when it comes to watches.
@@WatchSupercars Have you ever heard of Breguet? The inventor of : 1) The first self winding watch ; 2) The First Minute Repeater 3) The First Tourbillon 4) The Parachute mechanism 4) The first wrist watch. It has a patron list which historically is superior to Pateks. So let's not get carried away with Rolex.
@@madam9736right? Rolex ain't much in haute horology. They had cool designs and very original, absolutely worth noting, however, FPJ has done so many more new things in terms of watchmaking in its short lifetime than Rolex ever has. The first Daytona movement was an El primero movement. JLC used to make movements for PATEK so let's also not forget that. Patek has excellent marketing just like Rolex, but not many watchmakers are as attentive to timekeeping as well as aesthetics like FPJ is. De bethune comes to mind, but.. i mean.. FPJ is like an impressionist take on a classic style. I love it. And the challenges overtaken by FPJ is just madness and genius.
Yeah big error by kevin. usually the big 3 are Patek, AP, and vacheron con. Rolex isnt in the same catergory has them.
Wow, some incredible pieces.
Teddy & Kevin makes the best Duo Lol, always enjoyed listening to you both together.
Great video Kevin & Teddy - need more watch videos soon!
What a gorgeous collection of watches.
Absolutely love these videos. So much to learn about watches.
Great content proper watch talk. Very informative.
Flaunting his FTX plunder
Lmao
Kevin interrupting Paul that many times kills it for me.
Fantastic interview 🎉
can some of y'all recommend this to Nico Leonard 😂
Since when wearing two watches is not goofy?
Why do men wear 2 watches???
Hi Paul, good to see you here on TH-cam! In order, my preference is 1.) The George Daniels; 2.) The George Daniels; and 3.) The George Daniels...
Kevin and Teddy is the best watch collab on TH-cam
great to see you two back together!
Why is Kevin wearing two watches lol
He looks like an idiot.
I understand owning multiple watches but wearing two together is crazy.
It's like driving 2 bikes at the same time doing a split between them just because you have superbikes
I've seen him do so on several occasions. I guess he figures that he can get twice the attention that way.
The fourth pillar is not FP Journe . It would be Breguet. It always was part of the big four. Let’s not make things up
Came here to say this 🎉
Needer AP.....what a hype thing .
Even after Breguet, Vacheron should follow, not FPJ
When Kevin owns several F.P. Journe watches, they automatically will be considered one of the pillars of the industry. Wouldn't F.P. Journe be considered as a very high end micro brand? They are also a very young brand.
That shark outro was hilarious 😂
I got a Panda Daytona within 2 years from my AD.
I love that G. Daniels breathetaking
Incredible watches
With modern technology, these watches can be cheaply mass produced. The industry put up a facade of how difficult and costly it takes to make. The watch movements are recycled with a "new" case and the price goes up rapidly.
People pay ridiculous prices for so many watches, they cost 10% to me made, even retail.
It’s not the point that it can be made with modern technology. The point is, these companies started many years ago when things were all done manually. It’s about appreciating such small attention to detail.
Awesome these two
interesting how kevin replaces VC for rolex in the big 3 of watch making. Rolex has the popularity, but not the provenance.
i will never have enough money for any of these watches but damn!!.. These are so badass and Kevin is the goat when it comes to nice watches!!..
Love watching stuff like this while wearing my Seikonaut lmao. Different worlds
Daniels wristwatch, Patek perpetual calendar chrono, fp journe in that order.
he had wear watches in both hands
my guy is wearing 2 watches
The AP is absolutely stunning
If anyone thinks for one minute that any of these watches are within reach of an ordinary Joe watch enthusiast budget then they are sadly mistaken.
so awesome, such amazing works !
There is very few people I would truly appreciate meeting. Kevin is one of these rare people I would enjoy meeting
Watches are a better investment class than FTX.😂
Let teddy speak Kevin
Great video….
kevin did you really do any charity with that daytona ? lol
hard to believe.
Nobody loves Kevin more than Mr. Wonderful
Ftx bought the watches
I have a expensive watch addiction problem !! My problem is a cant afford any of them 😂
Kevin doing a Ric Flair, wearing watches on both left and right wrist..
The top right screw on the AP is slightly off and I feel I’m losing my mind.
Could it be the camera angle or the optics instead? I would doubt that it would ever have been released with that kind of flaw.
That patek is just mind blowing. will go over estimate.
The Patek vintage watch has the best combination of style, sophistication, elegance and rarity of all the watches.
Brilliant session Kevin!!! Love these watch videos sir. My dream is to own some high end pieces one day! I collect what I can for now, and really love your insight. Thanks for sharing. For me I'll stick with low end for now. Lord willing, I'll own a Rolex one day. My grail would be an FP Journe by far!
Kevin has two watches on…
Paul Boutros...Boutros, Boutros Galley!
LeBron James was one of the first people to have the blue AP that I’ve seen he wore it to a game last year I also seen keven hart with one too
Ed Sheeran also has one. Wore it at the Philly concert.
Indian celeb Shahrukh khan has one as well
Props to those with the money to do so but you would never catch me buying a 50k+ stainless steel/ceramic AP. Ill take Solid gold please and thank you. It boggles my mind someone would spend that type of money on stainless steel/ceramic, like what. For that price point im buying me a Patek, Vacheron Constantin, or high end Rolex, like a gentleman.
I'm not a fan of the AP. Neither the color or the style appeal to me, even when used as a sport watch. Hopefully, no one would ever wear it as a dress watch.
Kevin O, sir, how DARE you not give Vacheron Constantin its credit as a pillar of watchmaking, HOW DARE YOU SIR, they are the class of watches.
Hi. When is the auction?
Whens the video coming out on the refinery?
Kevin didn't call Teddy a "young grasshopper" this time...achievement unlocked.
what is on Mr Wonderful’s right wrist? Stunning
…..it doesn’t matter how well it’s made. Sometimes a lot of energy is wasted on bad designs.
What's up with buddy on the lefts weird smirk all the time?
Nice watches
How do I find that auction ?
Well damn, why the late release of the video after the auction?
It’s the red band on the Daytona cracked on the top right or is it hair?
love how kevin called it how it is and said richard mille. low production numbers and hype does not mean that much long term. craftmanship and innovation and the story usually trumps all over time. can't afford a rm but ill stick with daytona,gs,and omega for now. i will still grind until i can by a rm even after saying that.🤣
Sure kid. If you can wast that amount on a stupid watch but a 1000 dollar watch and go feet a village of starving to death babies instead.
@@ozz2762 ? lmao
Thos episode was A1
Don’t forget to sell sell sell, boys!
That Daniels is incredible!
Strange how Cartier needed 22 years to sell only 12 watches between the years 1967 -1989.
RE George Daniels @11:51 - it blows my mind that even with imperfections on the roman numeral 2 and the bottom of the 5, 11, 13 and on the subdial ( @11:57 ) in general that these watches go fo insane prices because it's "hand made". Luckily the movement is machine made otherwise I don't see it lasting very long.
Kevin is a very good con!
At 12:45, Shah Rush Khan, the Bollywood movie superstar, owns one of those APs. Apparently he paid around 600K USD for it 😮😊
I need that Panda. Still cannot find a red band in Vegas, this is such a shantytown, so depressing.
Good lord that blue AP
That is the biggest Turtle Neck I have ever seen. Teddy is like a Giraffe 😀😃😄
Teddy’s raising hand greeting gesture is not something many people of status do and it’s very sympathetic.
The Blue ceramic AP is recently seen on the wrists of Indian Superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Insane.
If you want watches you can take anywhere it would be Seiko citizen Tissot! Anything above that I would only wear on special occasions!
Kevin is so persuasive on camera. If i was running a crypto scam, I’d sure want him to speak on my behalf, but with no disclosure of sponsorship of course
Bro who feels bad for anyone who fell for this shit coins?
Great chemistry between Teddy and Mr wonderful
Bro they prob make 200k Daytonas per year. Not that rare. Seen a million of em
I just watched your video and I absolutely loved it! I found your presentation to be incredibly informative and engaging. You did a great job of breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand terms. I also appreciated the humor and personal anecdotes that you sprinkled throughout the video. It made the content more relatable and enjoyable. You're one of the few TH-camrs who I can consistently count on to deliver high-quality content. Keep up the great work! "I outsourced this feedback to AI"
Masha Allah ❤
Here I am all excited about my grail Rolex 126655 I just picked up from my AD! LOL!
SRK has a blue AP
Süper videos
That Patek
Kevin, how do you feel about Philips auctioning the omega frankenwatch?
I have a Sundial. Works... :)
God bless ya for donating to good things.
Teddy at 12:55 seems like he is really trying to hide his excitement over being in the presence of that ceramic Royal Oak.
