This is one of the most useful, and neat videos I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing the names of all the lifts and slopes. This is absolutely fabulous.

good video, but the vertical drop for this 16 lifts/ this course trough the resort cant be 12475m.
When you add up your mentioned 16 lift rides, youll get about 8450m vertical. 8000m vertical without taking chapelets twice! 8000m vertical doable for much more skiers than 12500m.

@@maisonsport now im even more confusent, because this doesent add up either :D
anyway: i think such videos are a great idea. Much people struggle to find all the slopes and lifts in the 3V.
Some people even say the 3V mainly consists of cat tracks and crowded tracks. Thats far from reality. But it shows that many people are missing around 2/3 of all tracks despite skiing there each year!
Your route trough courchevel and Orelle is fine. However middle sections trough meribel arent. Sitelle/Martre and lac de la cambre are the worst blue runs in the 3V. Plattiers and Cote brune are teo of the most crowded lifts.
I think skiing all 3 vallees only makes sence, if you dont take the shortest route. detours are important.
      My improved round:
In Merible take "Combes" and "Roc de Tounge" instead. Ski down Treppes run.
Than take "Granges". Now you can chose any route down to "Bruyeres 1"
From the middle station take run Chasse. Than take lift "Plan de Elau" and ski down to the big "Cime Caron" Gondola.
--- your path trough orelle ---
Take "Rosael" back up and run Falaise down. With "Grand Fond" up again and than take one of the other great slopes there (medaille) down to the 360 bar.
      --- your lifts 11 and 12 ---
ski down (from col de la cambre) any run to "sunny express" than take "Roc 2" to reach the slope mouflon. On of my fav. slopes.
--- your tour again after reaching run sitelle in merible ---
Vertical drop of this round: ~9700meters.
      not perfect either, but better.

Has anyone ever done a loop of Les 3 Vallees? Imagine starting in Chourchevel Moriond and trying to hit all the highest points while getting to opposite side and then hitting the lowest points on the way back to Courchevel Moriond. Is it possible?
