I only saw Journey sing Patiently once live that I can remember off the Infinity tour my FIRST Journey first EVER concert 1979. They never sang it again and I saw every Journey show from every album 1979-1986. I saw a VERY good Journey tribute band about 10 years ago and to my surprise they played Patiently and it sounded so VERY much like the original here. They nailed it. I got so caught up in the moment and it brought back some wonderful memories as my HS sweetheart and I would listen to the Infinity album all the time. She and I also saw the Infinity tour concert together, my VERY first concert to. That evening was magical. I could not help it, hearing it played live brought me to tears. My buddy was like you OK? I was like sorry, that song is VERY special to me. A concert moment I will NEVER foget even if it was a tribute band. I can honestly say growing up with Journey music definately impacted my life. Thank God for You Tube, letting us enjoy these great memories.

After that they had so many hits from Escape and the new ballads from Frontiers (Faithfully, Send Her My Love) that it got dropped. Too bad, because it's a beautiful song. It's March 23rd 2024 and I just watched and listened to this concert for the very first time. I have seen them in concert? Well for me my first concert was bad company and then heart and journey! There's a pretty big toss-up between. Paul Rodgers and Steve Perry!!!!!!! For the best male singer in the world!!!❤❤❤😊😮t concert was bad company
I never knew there was a live version of open the door and I saw clips from this concert before this was like a spiritual experience. Steve was actually singing his part higher than in the recording which blows my mind... Maybe he pushed himself too hard at the beginning of his career with journey because later on he couldn't do that that's why I always seek out these early Clips with him because his performances are mind-blowing he hits all the notes and then some... And I am a drummer and a huge fan of Aynsley Dunbar I think it was a huge mistake when they got rid of him he was the consummate professional and basically helped every band he was ever with make chart-topping hits nothing against Steve Smith he is also one of my favorite drummers and continues to improve with age which is unbelievable to do after all these years but this was a golden concert a terrible shame better footage was not taken of this concert it's one of the most glorious rock concerts in history from start to finish the Infiniti album to me is a masterpiece and my favorite of all their albums!

Not 100% on the title but very worth your time. He has recordings of Steve’s w/Journey that I’ve never heard. One is Patiently and is amazing. I have no idea when they recorded it or studio jam 🤷♀️,, it will leave you speechless.
