Smash Remix is a major love letter to the Nintendo 64, almost everything related to the system is in the mod in some way as well as past systems.
There moves there are so creative and represent their N64 era soo much.
Glad you played that and showed many people the awesomeness of the Hack and Banjo& Kazooie❤

I always thought the Down Air they gave Banjo was odd, but a thought just occurred to me; I think it’s a reference to his skater jump animation from the Beta footage!

This is my first time seeing a bunch of this content. Gosh, seeing all these demade Melee stages brings such warmth to my heart. The effort put into this really makes this feel like an incredible extension to exactly the joy SSB originally delivered.
Banjo seems like quite a well balanced character- kind of a brawler like Mario, but with some grindy-damagey attacks moreso than big wallopers. Seems like they're great for gnawing on an enemy, but the mastery is in getting that finisher delivered. I don't know how much of this is based on the Ultimate dlc character because I haven't gotten around to playing that much yet.
Love the demade Gigabowser, gosh that looks fun.

SMASH Remix is definitely on the higher echelon of mods, especially in as sparse a field as N64 modding.

Better late then never, Banjo Kazooie fits right in Smash Remix, almost as if they should have been in Smash Bros 25 years ago
tbf they probably would have been there sooner, but as we know Rare shifted away from the big N shortly after Tooie's release, taking Banjo, Diddy Kong and Conker with them.

Smash Bros 64 Mod, created by a team of modders who managed to add more Stages and Characters beyond the original game. i dunno if they are updating it past this point, but it's good to check on them occasionally.
