*I’m just catching this demonstration in 2023 and it sounds incredible! 🎶🎵🏆🎥 I’ve never played one but I’m looking to. You did a great job showcasing the different sounds.*
Next Sunday I'm picking mine up and can't wait! Got the head, 1x12 Orange cab, carrying case, and footswitch for a princely sum of $750! Went to my shop to have a new nut and pickups installed, looked across my shoulder and there it was! Next week needs to hurry up!
Great little bastard! I use it with a clean booster to add extra flavor. Fat channel for rhythm and Tiny for lead. Guitar volume knob cleans Fat channel perfectly.
It sounds amazing. I bet it’s perfect for live. Simple. I’m sick of amps full of bullshit that I don’t use. Perfect gain. If you use too much gain live, the sound goes mushy and you can’t tell what you’re playing. The fingers move, but you can’t hear what you’re playing. But, you will with this amp. It doesn’t over colour the sound. I must try one!
Great, since you've got A LOOOOOOOT of experience with that amp could you do me the favor of explaining how I can use time based effects with the amp when the gain is at max or maybe not maxed out but at 12 o'clock?
What speakers does this cab run? Awesome colour sound! I am using this amp through a B52s combo amp with a single 75W speaker and the amp sounds freaking amazing. To me the only lunchbox, kinda cheap, dual channel, 30Watts (15w-7w) , VINTAGE sounded amp-head out there! Cheers!!!
I'm looking at buying this tomorrow how loud is this amp? I already have the 20w micro terror is it going to be really noticeably louder? And worth me replacing my micro terror with it?
JRPowellIIIMusic I haven't found this to be the best pedal amp, or to have a super clean channel. I've tried it, and it wasn't the best sounding option. For me, the amp cleans up best when using one channel set to light crunch and rolling the guitar volume down when clean is needed. Thx for watching!!!
I was just curious if it could be used that way? I noticed the ADA MP1 rig in the corner of the room. That is my all time favorite pre-amp. I own 2 of them, but they are too noisy right now. I wish Orange made a 3 channel amp! I liked they videos. Looking forward to seeing more of them!
I would buy one IF it have a clean channel, so I could turn the volume up have that punch... I don't understand... 2 equal channels for what? If I want more volume I just use a booster pedal...

Alex Cazares Thank you!!
Really good demo and nice picking - thanks!
singlecoil guitars into orange amps = underrated AF

Great review! Picking one up for Christmas
My favorite amp hands down.
Man, the tele sounds great through that rig.

Straight up rock and roll. I dig it!
Kick ass review bro! Thank you!
if you want clean, turn the volume all the way up and gain down. Use the gain as your volume.
I wanna be friends with this dude. he seems cool. Would this be loud enough for small gigs, non-mic'd?
Mike Anderson Hey homie.......you're maybe gay. Does not matter to me..Your mother and I Still love you ;)
Hey Mike! It absolutely is loud enough.
Sea Level Cain so, you're in what?....7th grade?
I've owned it for several years it will blow all your band members off the stage!!!
anthony turco im thinking of getting one. Whats your experince with cleans on it?
"...to help your singer bring his mic stand in." :D \m/\m/
Great amp. Bell Bottoms?
Great video!
Its funny I think the best clean tone on this amp is on the tiny terror side from using them. id use the fat channel for the lead side
Nice demo.
Would this cop a decent Marshall-esque tone but you know a little orange flavor. Love the power scaling options, and wanna run it through a 2x12
I'm looking at buying this tomorrow how loud is this amp? I already have the 20w micro terror is it going to be really noticeably louder? And worth me replacing my micro terror with it?
Josh Dando you're going to have noticeably more headroom and power.
Thanks Phil! I'm in a 3 piece punk band and just need the cut through of my guitar so you'd say this would be fine for that?
It will blow the roof off. I promise you it's super loud.
I would like to see a dark terror version
Dual dark terror 30
How many people drooling over that cab right now?
Justin Kline I sure am..
I know you like to crank the tone, but do you ever crank that soulja boy?
Nope ;-)
Why not use one clean channel, slighty distorted on 2nd channel and use an overdrive to push for a virtual 3rd channel?

What mic is on the cab?
That is a Fat Head 2 ribbon mic.
Thanks!
what speakers are in the bad cat cab? sounds awesome!
a Bad Cat 25 in the left top. Bad Cat 35 top right.
2 G12T 75 on the bottom.
Sounds killer through the 4x12 any idea how they sound through a smaller cab, 2x12 or 1x12?
Sounded great through the 2x12 Egnater.
steve moore I use it through a 2x12 all the time and it smokes.
Sounds grate and loud through mine 2x12 harley benton with celestions
good demo!
What kinda les paul is that?
I would buy one IF it have a clean channel, so I could turn the volume up have that punch... I don't understand... 2 equal channels for what? If I want more volume I just use a booster pedal...
no effects loop from the looks of it...damn!
Jerry Cantrell
Big fan of Orange...but I just don't think I could drop $900 on....that. For more reasons than 1.
It is a good amp for the price. Look around and find a used one. You can never have too many guitar amps ;-)
Dig this amp!
$900 for made in china ? you can buy a used mesa trans atlantic 30 for that and have that and more ! my 2 cents !
What a terrible overdrive. Good way to destroy your lead sounds. Speally infront of an audience
Out of tune 😖
