You have moved your art so you are now opposite the door which has to be a good thing. Looking good. Love that round red/white piece above the crescent.
Thank you so much. I love your videos. I have learnt so much from you and I have made a lot of coasters and sculptures. My next project is resin wall decor. Thanks again for your precise and informative videos.
@@SueFindlay Thanks Sue. I have broken the ice and done my first small sculpture .Guess there are flaws professionals will pick up but on the whole I am pleased with it.
How clever! Gave some ideas on using up my leftover silk flowers and pip garlands! I was wondering, someone else uses contact paper to do their resin bowls, you use cellophane? Which is easier and cheaper? Thank You!
Wonderful project for a beginner like myself, thanks for taking all the time to produce these 🙏🏼 My only issue when trying to create this was....how do you get the cello bag to unstick from the sculpture?? I ended up trimming it off because it wouldn’t peel off easily...
It all depends on your brand of resin. I have no issues removing the cellophane, whereas other people have experienced issues. You need to try your resin on different plastics to see which works best for you.
Buenas noches Sue. El plástico que utilizas para soportar la resina tiene algún aditivo para que no se adhiera ésta? No hablo inglés, disculpa.
You have a beautiful gallery and it looks like a fantastic location as well. I love the colors that you used and the potpourri. Can you smell the Potpourri after it's done? Or does it resin coverage? Thank you for showing another beautiful creation
This is my 4th times to carefully look at it, and still Love it so much. Sue you said a few hours, can you say how many hours and how thick it should be Please????
I can't give specifics on times because it varies greatly from project to project. It all depends on the time of year, the temperature of your room and the thickness of the resin. I can tell you that the thickness of this is whatever it levels to, which is approximately 2mm thick.
It really looks like something! Well done! Aren't the potpourri pieces on the edges delicate and easy to break even with handling? Would it stay intact to shipping, or how do you wrap it for shipping? Thanks :*
The potpourri is very hard, especially after they were coated in resin. If I were sending this out, I would wrap it in a foam wrap (don't use bubble wrap) and then place it in a box with plenty of padding around it.
Hiya Sue, it's been about 7 hours. I tried to mold it over a glass vase, noticed the resin was starting to slide and when touched the resin lifted gooey on my stick. Noticed it was starting to slide just a smidge. So, I set it flat on the table. The touch should be tacky right? not gooey?
They are gorgeous!!! Maybe towards the end of the month. I can see about buying your book. Those bills just won't stop coming. lol I do love your work. Where are you located?
Hello Sue; can you please tell me what the address is for your gallery? We would love to visit! Thank you and I’m such a fan. You have inspired me so much with this type of art!,
Ingrid Campbell no problem. It is The Village Art Gallery, New Lord Street, Whiteman Park, Western Australia. I am there Saturday’s 10-4pm or by appointment.
Sue Findlay thank you sue,, we are planning a 3 month holiday to Australia next year. My husband just saw your gallery and he promised that we will be sure to make a visit to your gallery!, I can’t wait !,
When you come over, make sure when you visit the park, you make time to visit Caversham Wildlife Park. Here you can feed the kangaroos and stroke a koala. It is well worth a visit. 😉
Uso una pistola termica che ha due impostazioni di calore 400 / 600˚C. Devi stare attento a non bruciare la resina, quindi non tenerla troppo a lungo in una posizione. Nota, ho usato Google per tradurre questo messaggio. 💕

Sue I love every pieces of your Arts, Good Luck my Dear.
Thank you 💕
Beautiful 💚❤️💜🧡
Thank you 💕
Fantastic piece. It would be helpful to beginners to include how much resin you use for each project
I don't measure the amount because I often use leftover resin. The size of the finished bowl is determined by how much I have left. 💕

Hi Brigit, thank you for watching 💕
Beautiful work! Would Saran Wrap/handicrafts be ok as a substitute for the plastic you use?
If you take a look at some of my other videos, you will see that I have used cling wrap and other plastics. 💕

Hi... Sue
Is that a hair drier that u using??
No, I am using a heat gun
I’ve got one cooking 😁
LOL 💕
I ussed the cellophane bag and the bag didn’t come when the resin was curing
Sorry, I don’t understand what you are saying. The bag didn’t do what?
The bag didn't come off the resin when i tried to take it off
It didn't come off the resin it is still stuck on the resin
Where do you buy your resin? I can’t find U-resin on Amazon.
I buy it in Australia, it is not available on Amazon. It is my local resin company and they only ship around Australia.
