I really wanted to like this, I did! The music made me go into convulsions and my eyes rolled into the back of my head as i hit the floor in a full on grand mal. I just can't picture someone riding down a mountain with that playing through their head.

@LancerEvolutionMRE well, I started out on at TREK 3700 Hardtail (which I still have and my wife rides). Great beginner bike and virtually indestructable. They are running at about $400 US right now. Currently, I ride a 2010 TREK Fuel 5, full suspension, which I love. About $1500 US. Can't help you much on where to ride. I live in Florida, USA. And YES, there are really good places to ride in old flat Florida.

A shame I wasn't into MTB when I lived in AZ. I now live in FL. We have massive green senic trails but nothing beats the desert and mountains.
We're all like "Damn, this video is so cool, this guy has huge balls for doing this!"

@sweetlife7771 it is incredibly fun. I wouldn't do what these guys do on my best day (I still don't know how they keep their balance with balls that big), but even riding the single tracks through the woods is awesome. Get yourself a decent bike and do it!
