King of the skull servant's family is probably my favorite group of monsters and I am glad that he was able to give marron a loving home... even if he gets humiliated. I love the idea that out of almost every king in the lore he seems to be the strongest and the most benevolent. Due to the fact that he is obviously a family man and has the complete loyalty of his subjects also he literally gets power from the love for his family and a sizeable chunk of power at that. I kinda want to see a skull marron retrain that renames him to "Wight Dog Marron" giving him the usual skull servant effect of being treated as one in the grave with the ability to special summon a wightprincess from the hand or deck which would synergize well with the archetype and further the Marron lore

Ah Tri Horned Dragon. The perfect dragon I used when I didn't got Blue eye yet in Yugioh Power of Chaos. But I don't think they related. The pose look diffirent enough.
what a shame. they could even feature things similar to that filler arc in yugioh when the characters first went into the digital world (not that one) against the five headed dragon. also they could feature monsters who are "normal citizens" seeing how the clans of the dark and blue eye magicians fight, the HEROES saving people, or other things
Ian R. Nava Huber GX actually has quite a lot of that. The "worlds" they visit include Gravekeepers and Dark Worlds. They duel and interract with the monsters there. There's also a duel against Jinzo and probably a lot I've forgotten. A series just one the lore would be cool though. I remember how pumped I was when Joey told the backstory of Gearfreed in DM.
Yes, Buster Blader DOES have to kill his own dragon, as the Whelp grew and fought more and more in battle it became more of a game to the little dragon who then began to enjoy the hunt and slaughter (thus allowing the darkness in his heart to prosper) eventually the little Whelp grew too dark and began attacking ANYTHING it wanted without reason which is why, unfortunately Buster Blader had to destroy him (seen in the Destruction Sword Fusion artwork) and through his grief and absorbing the soul of his pet dragon, becomes Buster Blader the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman. I love that lore so damn much.
I'd like to think that Warrior of Zera sat on the chair to over see the ritual that would bring forth Zera the Mant. From there he slain the beast turning his head into a sword somehow. Then seeks out Sanctuary in the Sky slaying demons along the way becoming an Archlord. Then "God" sent him onto a mission to Pandemonium where he was corrupted eventually into his Darklord version returning to Sanctuary in the Sky destroying it.
Rom Kin Warrior of Zera had 1 of 3 paths to choose from. Either follow the path of the Archlords, or allow the fiends that torment him to finally consume him, or preform a forbidden ritual. His sword his a possessed sword, btw. *Choosing the path of the fiends path with Pandemonium he becomes Mezra (zera spelling is introverted) Da Ville (Devil). *Choosing the ritual, he sacrifices allies from along the way to fulfill the ritual and becomes one with the spirit forged in his weapon (mirror image of the Lych King from Warcraft) *Follows the path of the Archlords and is turned into Zeradias, once saving The Sanctuary in the Sky he is promoted to "Archlord" Zerato, Along with Archlord Krystia as being the 2 highest ranking angels if the sanctuary and heaven. Darklord Zerato, is the Archlords fallen angrl form. As you see the sanctuary in the sky destroyed and in ruins in the background. His reasons for "falling" are unknown, but still holds his "Lord" title, fairy/angel type and is reasonably more powerful.
I think Zera the Mant is a the real Warrior of Zera. After something goes awry Zera the Mant is turned into a sentient sword that takes over a random warrior (Warrior of Zera) then continues on the adventures outlined in the clip.
paimon12 Black Luster Solder archetype have three characters, I think two men and one women. but the original one in black armor is DEFINITELY a man, since he had a male voice actor for the anime.
Shien is based on Oda Nobunaga. He unified Japan but do to his cruel methods was called a demon and betrayed by one of his retainers Akechi Mitsuhide. if they continue the story after the secret 6 sams shiens foot solider should become the next shogun as he his based on Toyotomi Hideyoshi
Shien's scheme is obviously evil thus the red glow in his eye. Where at first he was supposed to free japan but then he decides to rule it and become a tyrant. Then his servant in green turns against him.
Oda Nobunaga was trapped in a castle though and died. It was one of his generals Hidoyoshi toyotomi who would carry on his legacy and eventually unify Japan. When he died his heir was still only 4 years old and so the adult Togokawa Hideyasu who had served alongside Hidoyoshi under Oda took the throne for himself. Unlike Hidoyoshi though when Togokawa abdicated the throne after securing it and gave it to his son. He died 10 years after abdicating and since his son had been ruling for a decade his rule was not contested. The Togokawa dynasty would rule Japan for the next 300 years until Japan was rocked to the core by the Americans forcing them to open up to the outside world.
Mind blowing! Awesome work i cant imagine how hard it must have been to find all these references or even the pictures on some od these cards and i started playing yugioh in 2002!
Thanks! It was something I always noticed with some of the original sets, so I made the first video to conclude the link between those original cards that I always noticed, but with all the suggestions on the last video, there was ample material for a part 2.
I don’t know if you’re going to do a third video, but the story of El Shaddoll Winda is my favorite. In the Naturia world, Winda got her start as a priestess of the Gusto, peaceful monsters that were partners of the Ritual Beast tamers. After the death of Sophia, Goddess of Creation, and the subsequent defeat of the Evilswarm invasion, something sinister began to emerge from the shadows in the Naturia. Monsters of all kinds began disappearing, including Pulao, a Yang Zing dragon Winda was attempting to tame. After a battle with his shadow double, Pulao was corrupted and turned into a Shaddoll Squamata. Winda, unaware of his transformation, sought him out, but was captured by the Shaddolls and brought to El Shaddoll Construct, the source of this terrible power. As the first non-animal being captured by the Shaddolls, Construct bathed Winda with her powers, turning her into a puppet and making her essentially into a herald. She was reunited with Pulao and set off to find other suitable beings for Construct to turn into puppets. Now as the second most powerful Shaddoll, Winda made contact with a veteran of the Evilswarm war, Cairngorgon, the Antiluminescent Knight. After his corruption from the Gem Knights fusing over and over, Winda easily brought him back to Construct, who then corrupted him further into El Shaddoll Grysta. However, Winda wound up making a terrible mistake as she then sought out Leo, Keeper of the Sacred Tree. In her fight with Leo, she unwittingly damaged the Naturia Sacred Tree and woke the Qliphorts. With them waking, she failed to capture Leo and fled back to Construct, where she became a big part of the war against the Qli. At some point, Grysta was slain and the Qli acquired the Gem Knight powers, which allowed them to summon the Infernoids to purge the Shaddoll infestation (the Qliphorts were losing pretty bad). One Infernoid, Decatron, captured Winda as he fought his way to Construct, where she was placed in a glowing tube on his body. After the climactic battle, Decatron’s head broke off and escaped as his body was assimilated into Construct, where he returned to the Sacred Tree. Broken and dying, what remained of Decatron stayed out of the Zefra war with his master, Tierra, and finally crashed and died at the base of the Sacred Tree. The Zefra came to Decatron’s head to search for survivors, and were surprised to find that within the tube atop his head, Winda, purged of the Shaddoll corruption, was in there. Now back to normal, Winda set herself to becoming a Spiritual Beast Tamer, but her art on that card hints that perhaps she isn’t fully back, as she wears similar clothes to her El Shaddoll counterpart and seems to be a little less sure of herself. I know it’s long, but Winda was a key figure in the Duel Terminal and has my favorite story in the whole game (second to Decatron or Qliphort Genius). Thank you for the awesome video!
the story in the Hidden Arsenal / Duel Terminal series is my personal favorite. Shame it didn't appear in either video. There are basically 3 world wars and some matrix shenanigans at play there. Winda is a part of that. Heck, the World Legacy may just be a 4th generation in the same Duel Terminal world for all we know so far.
James Buckley there was also Gearfried's story told briefly by Joey in the Oricalcous Arc and technically all the monsters have an origin story simply being created from peoples' minds and given birth thru the millennium items
if only we could see how buster blader fits into their stories (miraculous restoring revives both dark magician and buster blader and both have a skilled magician (black and white, respecteviely, and archfiends and gaia have ones too)), and dark magician can be fused indto dark paladin. i wonder, did buster blader went into war with the blue eyes?
Mazera Deville’s chest plate also looks like the head of the chair that the Warrior of Zera sits on in the Zera Ritual. Which is a nice touch of flavor.
I had expected you would know that "archlord" and "archfiend" are the censored versions of angel and demon. "Sanctuary in the sky" is heaven and "Pandemonium" is hell.
Okay but what is Dark World? Or Zombie World? Different dimension versions of hell? Then you have Burning Abyss which is clearly Hell and a separate location than Pandemonium.
@@Wiseman108 Yeah I actually think so. We know there's several dimensions in the cards. I also figure they might be various afterlifes and stuff. Burning Abyss is more a Christian Hell. I think Pandemonium is more of a "higher hell", specifically for the archfiends. Or just another type of hell. Zombie world is probably more just a diseased land where everyone who dies becomes a zombie. Dark World's not really hell, just more like Detroit. Not a place you want to be.
To avoid any spoilers on this video for the ones that have not seen it, thank you for doing the backstory for the #1 spot and narrating it as you did. All the other ones were good as well.
Shien is based on Nobunaga Oda, so Kagemusha is likely Mitsuhide. Who was ageneral under Nobunaga, that eventually betrayed him in Honnoji, when Nobunaga was close to unifying Japan. He killed Nobunaga, and named himself Shogun. The body double was likely "Shien's scheme" to avoid the ninjas.
World Legacy should only be tackled after the whole story is told and as far as we know there are 3 more World Legacies to be revealed in the sets after Flames of Destruction
We've got the Crawlers, the "Legacy" monsters, spells, and traps, and we've got the Mekk-Knights. Are you saying there's gonna be three more Sub-Archetypes being added to it?
Maybe....so far each Set had exactly 1 "World Legacy"-monster with an appropriate archetype. Chalice and its heroes Armor and the Krawlers Shield and the Mekk-Knights Spear and the Troymares (even though the Troymares are just corrupted Mekk-Knights) What the future will bring is pretty uncertain, as only 2 support cards for older archetypes (1 for Mekk-Knights and 1 for Krawlers) for the theme are revealed so far for Cybernetic Horizon.
Haven't heard of the Troymares. World Legacy Bubble Shield... the mages seen in the top corner of that card; are those the Troymares? It seems like to me that if these Troymares are corrupted Mekk-Knights, then the other three archetypes are gonna team up to fight them, if one of the Krawler trap cards is any indication. That's gonna be one hell of a deck to build if one is trying to go for a "World Legacy" deck, combining all of these interlacing archetypes...
The Troymares (or at least their creator) are stopped in the "Flames of Destruction"-arc. The creator is btw "Destroymare Iblee" (Ib posessed by the evil fairy Lee)
Hey, love the lore videos, and I thought of an interesting idea for one you could go over... The Duel Terminal Storyline...that thing is massive, spanning multiple Archetypes, and would be amazing to see it all laid out, considering how it was still going with some of the more recent ones like Qli, Zefra, and of course any archetype they were linked too...
Six Samurai was my main deck on Dueling Network, Dueling Nexus and YGO Legacy of the duelist. The greatest deck ever, there was never a single dead draw, every card could be used to turn the tide of a duel. Love 'em.
Archlards most Certianly did exist as an archetype when this vid came out. There are not many but you showed one already Archlord Zerato. Archlord Kristia also existed at the time. Darklords are inferned to be fallen relations to the Archlords themselves and the Archfiend are the inverted counterparts/enemies of the Archlords. This is why Zerato can also become an Archfiend. All of these archtypes have existed for quite some time, over a decade at least. At this point in time now, the woman from the solemn series has had more added and is linked to the Darklords. It makes sense that so many links would exist as they're all suppose to be from the same reality and locations. The solemn monsters, Zera light path and agent monsters along with many other fairies revolve around the Sanctuary in the sky.
Magical Scientist: Interesting. Seems Outstanding Dog Marron lived to the ripe old age of 15. Time Thief Redoer: 15? You mean, he lived for 12 more years after I got frozen? Mag. Scientist: Indeed! TT Redoer Redoer: Stop the “Dark Factory of Mass Production”! *Group Gasps* TT Redoer: *Destroys computer controls* Mag. Scientist: Oh, sure! Smash the smart guy’s machine. Junk Synchron: TT Redoer, what’s wrong? TT Redoer: Think about it. OD Marron lived a full life after I was gone. He probably even added new songs to his repertoire. Junk Synchron: But that’s a good thing! “Walking on Sunshine” sucks noodles! TT Redoer: I had Marron until he was 3. That’s when I knew him; that’s when I loved him. I’ll never forget him, but he forgot me a long, long time ago. ----- 🎶 “If it takes forever, I will wait for you | Through a thousand summers, I will wait for you | ‘Til you’re back beside me…” 🎶 OD Marron: 😞…
1:27 I just now noticed the hands behind Hypnosister's back. I wonder if the card designers took any inspiration from Elfen Lied because they look a lot like the psychic hands that Dicloniuses (Diclonii?) have in that anime.
Actually after staring contest slacker magician hilariously kicks everyone out of her house in the trap card GET OUT! Which explains why she went back to working in peace
I love that card! I wish I waited to cover Slacker Magician on a later backstory list since that card came out about a year after a I made this video, so it would have been cool to cover it. At least they didn't released a bunch of new cards with the magicians on them to really change the backstory (of course, I wouldn't mind if they did lol)
Top Ten "Screw the Rules" momets with Judgment Meter, Dungeon Dive Bar, Software Agent and Professor Oates from DM anime so like BS like when Esper Roba s jinzo doesn't get destroyed by Time Wizards efffect because Jinzo had a "die-titanium armomr" wtf or spell cards dont work on Bandit Keith;s Machines in Duelist kingdom for... no reason. or Yugi illegally summons Red Eyes against Kaiba... basically all of battle City.
Yeah MrTopTenList. The 6 Samurai sure do have the coolest backstory. Plus speaking of which, can you please do Top Ten Samurai in Fighting Games as mentioned in your Top Ten Ninjas in Fighting Games video?
And also since it's both Easter and April Fool's Day at the same time, what do you think of this joke I'm making up? "What's oval-shaped and can be found hidden in a video game? An Easter egg!"
I dont know why but this stories are fucking intresting. You never really look at the cards and most of the time you dont own all of them/have all of them in one deck. SO the full story never gets seen. Fascinating how much effort is in the cards themself.
AnArKyJake-senpai I'm more fascinated these are still going on and I don't know if Kazuki Takahashi is still involved or was involved with such a thing before
Honestly, Zera/Zerato has always been something I was intrigued with it was the first actual story I looked into myself way back when, I'm happy you're doing these videos so other people who may not of known will get to see some of the depth these cards do have storywise.
leon perez Each monarch (with the exception of Erebus and Aether who are primordial and the most powerful Greek gods and Kuraz is supposed to be jesus and the dark one is supposed to be Satan/the devil) are reflections of actual Emperors and kings from past civilizations.
3:22 then master duels comes out and completely destroys your interpritation by saying the twilightswarn are not brain washing, but rather weapons of the lightswarn for additional power.
The Condemned Witch cards came out about a year after this video, so Maiden was the end of her story at the time, but since we have so many cards with her as Condemned Witch now, I'll likely cover the Witch part of her backstory on my next backstory list
i wish Buster blader got some XYZ, Pendulum or Link support. Buster blader has good synergy with dragoncaller magician (who looks similar to dark magician)
Woah your favorites are my favorites! You can see monster spirits too! My favorites are: kozaky, goblin calligrapher, gagagigo, i am obssessed with galaxy ser
Bruh, the story of Condemned Maiden is only like... 20% of her whole story. Edit: Just btw, this was before I saw the third entry and didn't realize just how recent Condemned Witch/Witch's Strike are as cards.
I always like seeing how a story can be weaved together through these cards. So far, the most extensive storyline that I have seen is the recent WolrdLegacy Archetype, mainly because it spans multiple Archetypes instead of typically one. I didn't really think about it too much until the other day when I was looking through my collection and read ChosenByTheWorldChalice's card text. When it mentions the "Seven World Legacies" the lightbulb went off and I realized that all 7Legacy Cards have been made; what other Links, cards and/or stories can be made from them I know not, but I look forward to hearing it if/when you can piece it all together. I'm just surprised that so many sub-archetypes are connected to this one (WorldChalice, Krawler, Mekk-night, Knightmare, GuardDragon, Crusadia, even the Orcust; I'm not even sure I've named them all!)
The condemned maiden has a few more cards in the story. She has 1 or 2 more monster cards, as well as another card depicting her defeating the old guy in the solemn cards.
Hades is connected with BLS, BE and RE with me being oblivious to that?!? 😳 Where did they start to connect? I just know that BE and RE have an enemy position since Jonouichi and Seto are not fond of each other, but aside from that...
It is the year 2022 when Konami decided they will cash in on the video idea of this youtuber and released their storyline for World Legacy cards in Yugioh Master Duel.
Like magic, a story surrounding monsters in yugioh couldn’t do it justice. But this video shows the potential right there. Maybe they could make short ova stories like pokemon chronicles.
According to the early video games, Ryu-Kishin Powered was the monster that was transformed into Zera the Mant while Warrior of Zera simply presided over the ritual. Ryu-Kishin has his own arc, and Zera the Mant might be the spirit of darkness that possessed the Ryu-Kishin cards.
You should absolutely make a whole video of the World Legacy cards onec the story is complete, but I'd also love to see a video talking about Spirit cards. I know they dont really have any in card game lore but I love how almost all of theme is based off of old time Gods and Goddesses.
I thought Zera was the name of the sword. The monster is the warrior. That's why Zera the Mant is after Zera the sword finally takes over tributing the warrior.
Heyyy, it’s me again. Super-fun video again, and I love that you’re clearly using the Master Guides as references uwu. I’ll just be listing some info here as a supplement to some things you mention: • Things you mention that we’re not entirely sure of (but which are valid theories): Risebell’s book causing monsters to emerge, Dark World causing the Lightsworn to become Twilightsworn, and Akashic Magician’s rivalry with Alchemic (rather than just Alchemic’s pleading) being the thing to spark Slacker’s passions again. • The Lightsworn are heroes from all across time, whose spirits have been collected by Michael to fight for justice. Ryko is Jain’s pet dog, and his role in their ranks is as a member of the Advance Guard, “the ones who sally forth into the real world. Their main mission is understanding the nature of the enemy, but each is a highly trained warrior, so oftentimes only they are needed to deal with the situation.” (Master Guide 3) • Goldd is one of the two army leaders in Dark World. (Master Guide 2) “Wǔ" is the pinyin transcription of the Han character "武" as in "武神" or “war god". (Yugipedia) • Zera the Mant’s Japanese name makes clear that it’s the actual Zera - its name is literally just that: “Zera”. This ofc seems to imply that Warrior of Zera is beholden to the Mant, as its warrior, and that’s probably why he’s got it as his sword / got a sword that looks like it. • Most card artworks that feature the Goblin Attack Force and the Ojamas are meant less as concrete, traceable storyline elements, and more as just jokes like you mention. Both groups just kinda wander around the world, doing dumb shit and getting owned. It was probably a good idea not to tackle World Legacy lore just yet, as it’s still ongoing, and as you say it’s very detailed. It’s the third-biggest storyline in yugioh, and it’ll probably become the second-biggest soon. Really happy to see more from you about yugioh card lore! 🙆🏻
HA! Where is duel terminal story arc which includes Worms, Draguinity, Gem-knights, Flamevells, Naturia, Genex, Ally of Justice, and many more archetypes that are more epic than those stories you stated? Also... That story is so epic that it included 3 physical generations, 3 world wars, 2 lulls, and summoned 2 Deities to join the mix
You know what if Konami wanted they could make a full tv series of the monster cards lives
Make it like 5-10 minutes shorts showing there history, I’d watch the crap out that
Yea
HEY! I had that idea first!
But whatever! No reason to fight, better team up and fantasise about it together!
My good sir, that is possibly the best pitch for a show ive ever heard. -applause- #cosmomind
That would help keep the show alive
Just don't let 4Kids touch it.
The most epic shit is when two seperate backstories that you thought had nothing to do with each other suddenly collide in one single card artwork. It’s mind blowing and makes you rethink over a ton of things. Truely epic.
Yeah, those Ojama are really something.
TMX FroZeN and still nobody cover them like seriously the first person will cover them will be obviously get ton of views
wow Buster Bladers Story was actually really touching
another reason why i decided to get the archetype (i only need aother buster blader card, and 2 buster whelps to finish it)

Twilightsworn are the Lightsworn cards, but for when they need to specifically destroy evil, rather than protect good.
I also like the name Twilight, meaning that they are still bound to the light, but using dark elements.

I do agree probably because Yugioh does take from just about everything
Including RPG characters themselves
I always thought Zera the Mant was just the corrupted soul of Tri Horned Dragon.

*Follows the path of the Archlords and is turned into Zeradias, once saving The Sanctuary in the Sky he is promoted to "Archlord" Zerato, Along with Archlord Krystia as being the 2 highest ranking angels if the sanctuary and heaven.
Darklord Zerato, is the Archlords fallen angrl form. As you see the sanctuary in the sky destroyed and in ruins in the background. His reasons for "falling" are unknown, but still holds his "Lord" title, fairy/angel type and is reasonably more powerful.
Who is God in that universe ?
Divine beasts ? Master Hyperion ?
I think Zera the Mant is a the real Warrior of Zera. After something goes awry Zera the Mant is turned into a sentient sword that takes over a random warrior (Warrior of Zera) then continues on the adventures outlined in the clip.

Six samurai deserves it's own full video. It's a surprisingly deep story
I was wondering about the secret six samurai
Shien's scheme is obviously evil thus the red glow in his eye. Where at first he was supposed to free japan but then he decides to rule it and become a tyrant. Then his servant in green turns against him.
why wouldn't you mention the part when he catches a shiny Rayquaza? It's pretty important.
Shien was considered a fire demon as he did not age which explains why tenkabito shien is a Pyro type and Fire attribute
Wow, that's a good story. It's worth looking into if I ever make a Volume 3. Glad you enjoyed this!
U rite
the story in the Hidden Arsenal / Duel Terminal series is my personal favorite. Shame it didn't appear in either video. There are basically 3 world wars and some matrix shenanigans at play there. Winda is a part of that. Heck, the World Legacy may just be a 4th generation in the same Duel Terminal world for all we know so far.
I'd like to see an elemental hero story
fun fact Dark magician is the only card to have a cannon back story shown in the show.
James Buckley there was also Gearfried's story told briefly by Joey in the Oricalcous Arc and technically all the monsters have an origin story simply being created from peoples' minds and given birth thru the millennium items
TheKpa11 But dm has a story that is explicitally told we see him go from being one of the high priests to the dark magician.
James Buckley what about Blue-Eyes and Kisara and how that ties in and is represented in Cards in a similar fashion to DM.
I forgot about the blue eyes cards.
if only we could see how buster blader fits into their stories (miraculous restoring revives both dark magician and buster blader and both have a skilled magician (black and white, respecteviely, and archfiends and gaia have ones too)), and dark magician can be fused indto dark paladin. i wonder, did buster blader went into war with the blue eyes?
I kinda like Slacker Magician and Warrior of Zera’s backstories
Mazera Deville’s chest plate also looks like the head of the chair that the Warrior of Zera sits on in the Zera Ritual. Which is a nice touch of flavor.
You know, I had to learn how to play Yu-Gi-Oh for my award-winning role as Micky Rosa in the hit movie "21".
I like to imagine the mouse in Downerd Magician becomes the first Kaiju. I don’t know how it happens, but it happens
Dude, I REALLY hope you keep this series of top tens going. I could make countless fanfiction off these!
Archfiend sounds really cool though. Much cooler than DEMON IMO
@@gizzach977 archfiend means Archfiend Demon is Fiend not Archfiend
@@Wiseman108 Yeah I actually think so.
We know there's several dimensions in the cards. I also figure they might be various afterlifes and stuff. Burning Abyss is more a Christian Hell. I think Pandemonium is more of a "higher hell", specifically for the archfiends. Or just another type of hell.
Zombie world is probably more just a diseased land where everyone who dies becomes a zombie.
Dark World's not really hell, just more like Detroit. Not a place you want to be.

Love how Condemned Maiden comes out on top in the end
The Constellars, Vylons, Ice Barrier, Gusto, Sophia, Zefra, etc. etc. Duel Terminal story could take up an entire video. Go for it!
the card art and depth itself is more interesting to me than the card game itself
To avoid any spoilers on this video for the ones that have not seen it, thank you for doing the backstory for the #1 spot and narrating it as you did. All the other ones were good as well.
Thanks!
I swear the Yu-Gi-Oh! Universe is just one big Westworld Narrative
Chalice and its heroes
Armor and the Krawlers
Shield and the Mekk-Knights
Spear and the Troymares (even though the Troymares are just corrupted Mekk-Knights)
What the future will bring is pretty uncertain, as only 2 support cards for older archetypes (1 for Mekk-Knights and 1 for Krawlers) for the theme are revealed so far for Cybernetic Horizon.
The creator is btw "Destroymare Iblee" (Ib posessed by the evil fairy Lee)
yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/World_Legacy_Nightmare
Those are the Troymares
Hey, love the lore videos, and I thought of an interesting idea for one you could go over...
The Duel Terminal Storyline...that thing is massive, spanning multiple Archetypes, and would be amazing to see it all laid out, considering how it was still going with some of the more recent ones like Qli, Zefra, and of course any archetype they were linked too...
I demand a video on Skull Servants family!
8:52 Oh, King of the Skull Servants is so BADASS...
I regret not watching this sooner! I always love to look at the cards that tell a story.
Buster blader and gagagigo storys would probably make a good anime
Six Samurai was my main deck on Dueling Network, Dueling Nexus and YGO Legacy of the duelist. The greatest deck ever, there was never a single dead draw, every card could be used to turn the tide of a duel. Love 'em.
I shed a tear from that buster blader story

I dont know why but this stories are fucking intresting. You never really look at the cards and most of the time you dont own all of them/have all of them in one deck. SO the full story never gets seen. Fascinating how much effort is in the cards themself.

The condemned Maiden trains and evolves into Condemned Witch, then she takes revenge of god in Witch's Strike and evolve into Witch's Darklord.
The Condemned Witch cards came out about a year after this video, so Maiden was the end of her story at the time, but since we have so many cards with her as Condemned Witch now, I'll likely cover the Witch part of her backstory on my next backstory list

Edit: Just btw, this was before I saw the third entry and didn't realize just how recent Condemned Witch/Witch's Strike are as cards.
3:55 This seems like an ATELIER VIDEOGAME PLOT hahahaha!!!
What about the Monarchs???
Looking through their artwork, you can see a really badass story of them conquering some other dimensions and archetypes
The condemned maiden has a few more cards in the story. She has 1 or 2 more monster cards, as well as another card depicting her defeating the old guy in the solemn cards.
Do a series of Yugioh card backstories
Omg, I literally never realized these cards illustrations told a story, that's really cool to realize that with solemn judgement.

It is the year 2022 when Konami decided they will cash in on the video idea of this youtuber and released their storyline for World Legacy cards in Yugioh Master Duel.
I think the Darklord Zerato is the ending of the Archlord line, given the Japanese name “Fallen Angel Zerato”
Like magic, a story surrounding monsters in yugioh couldn’t do it justice. But this video shows the potential right there. Maybe they could make short ova stories like pokemon chronicles.
I need more lore
According to the early video games, Ryu-Kishin Powered was the monster that was transformed into Zera the Mant while Warrior of Zera simply presided over the ritual. Ryu-Kishin has his own arc, and Zera the Mant might be the spirit of darkness that possessed the Ryu-Kishin cards.
Um yeah you got the story of the 6 samurai wrong
What if Warrior slayed the Mant? And he took the name "Of Zera" as a title

World Legacy's storyline is basically Bravely Default
Heyyy, it’s me again. Super-fun video again, and I love that you’re clearly using the Master Guides as references uwu. I’ll just be listing some info here as a supplement to some things you mention:
• Things you mention that we’re not entirely sure of (but which are valid theories): Risebell’s book causing monsters to emerge, Dark World causing the Lightsworn to become Twilightsworn, and Akashic Magician’s rivalry with Alchemic (rather than just Alchemic’s pleading) being the thing to spark Slacker’s passions again.
• The Lightsworn are heroes from all across time, whose spirits have been collected by Michael to fight for justice. Ryko is Jain’s pet dog, and his role in their ranks is as a member of the Advance Guard, “the ones who sally forth into the real world. Their main mission is understanding the nature of the enemy, but each is a highly trained warrior, so oftentimes only they are needed to deal with the situation.” (Master Guide 3)
• Goldd is one of the two army leaders in Dark World. (Master Guide 2) “Wǔ" is the pinyin transcription of the Han character "武" as in "武神" or “war god". (Yugipedia)
• Zera the Mant’s Japanese name makes clear that it’s the actual Zera - its name is literally just that: “Zera”.

Also... That story is so epic that it included 3 physical generations, 3 world wars, 2 lulls, and summoned 2 Deities to join the mix
apparently Wu-Lord is supposed to be a Shaman-Lord. Wu I think is Chinese for shaman so adding lord to the word Wu would probably be the case.
