- Caring for a new human hair topper or wig can be stressful, but products can be found easily and inexpensively. Here are my current favs to keep my pieces looking good:
✅️Shampoo (Sulfate and paraben free to keep those pieces safe.)
✅️Oil (Marula and Moroccan are my favs. Apply to ends only!)
✅️Leave-in conditioners that smell yummy (Apply to ends only. Use sparingly.)
✅️Heat protectant (Not 100% sold on the need for this.)

Hi! I'm Ashley, and I'm so glad that you're here.
After years of struggling with hair loss that continued to progress, a few bad wigs that never left the house, and internet searches that left me feeling hopeless, I took the plunge and jumped into the world of alternative hair full-time in 2020, and I haven't looked back. Now I want to share what I've learned in the last decade of my struggle with you, wherever you are in your journey with alopecia.

Your hair looks perfect and amazing on you! I love it. I also love your Wigshe wig as well!!
Thank you! I do love Wigshe. Figuring out their colouring can be a challenge, but it's worth it!
Great info.....What about heat protectant and hairspray...?
I don't typically use hair spray, but, when I do, I just just use what's in the drawer. I think it's a Pantene one.
Hear protectant that I use is from Amika. I believe that it's called Brookkyn Blowout. Sorry about the delayed reply.
So do you have a conditioner that is not going to do this?
Sorry - could you please be specific? A conditioner that's not going to do what?
(I filmed this some time ago, and I'm not sure which section you are referring to.)
