The best argument I heard so far in this trial was that Baldwin WAS Rust and so into his role that he coulnd't be bothered with gun safety. Isn't that what an actor should be able to - distinguish between real life responsibilities and his role? Ah - he is an artist. That must be the difference.

      @omarholder9036 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

I hear you guys, and if you want to argue he shares some culpability then sure but frankly I blame the props person who loaded the gun with live rounds more than anyone. And they already received 18 months.
Because this went off accidentally, people rightfully question his handling. But if they were doing a scene he would have fired a live round at someone else. Why live rounds were even on the set is baffling.

@@omarholder9036 It has nothing to do with shared culpability. Both he and Hannah have full culpability. This isn't civil, where they try to divvy up damages.
Obviously the gun went off "unexpectedly" because had Baldwin expected it to go off, his charges would be much more severe.
And no if they were doing a live scene and he had attended the mandatory training he blew off, he wouldn't have just shot someone else. Sheesh.

It would be very foolish to testify if he has the temper he's purported to have. Morrisey is constantly goading him and you know he sure as hell WANTS to do it.
His statements, police interviews and 20/20 interview have a lot of glaring contradictions and that might be another reason he would want to testify and set that woman straight.
But I don't see how it would help though because it will just be another conflicting version.
Hopefully for us he does indeed take the stand.
Hopefully for his sake he doesn't. I wonder if his lawyers put him through a mock cross examination to show him what it's like.
I also wonder if he's dictating what his lawyers do, not hearing their counsel. I just get a feeling he's like Heard in that way but on steroids.
That would explain the stunning blunder defense made of they're forced to follow his whims and legal reasoning.

I haven't seen this video of him talking about vacation. But based on what's said...
My 2 cents as a man. Men (the few left these days) tend to buck up and be the one who is going to instill confidence in their lives, especially to a wife and children.
Like a, don't worry, still come out, this was an accident, but she's alive and will attest to that etc etc.
Sure he's probably WTF on the inside. But he has to present strength. If he doesn't do that, then his family might think less of him or worry. His job as a man is to instil confidence.
Now take woman who often don't have this personality trait, I can see how the prosecutiin as a female puts a lot of emphasis on this.
But what do I know lol

    • @EC_ATV_Outdoors

To put this into reality, last year our son passed away at 62 days. This is my flesh and blood that I say with day in and day out in a hospital.
Whenever my wife was around, or my 7 other kids, I bucked up and put in a strong front.
1.5 years later, it's still not easy, and some days I still hold it all in. Many people following the passing commented how well I kept it in.
Again, I did this because as a man I feel the need to show strength.
So if I can do this for my child, I'm sure anyone else is capable of the same for a co-worker.

Then I changed to whenever she takes them off… I’m now so far past a limit that my liver and kidneys want a class action suit against her for causing an easy drinking game that led me to being this honest and/ or inebriated. Lmao😂😂😂😂😂😂

Baldwin was more than an actor. He was the BIG boss in charge. He ran a sloppy unsafe operation where his negligence led to one death and another near death.

This is what gets me. The defendant hired this hack of an armorer. Why isn't the prosecution talking more about that? And what's the point of having an armorer and safety routines at all if you can just override them as you wish? Baldwin created a dangerous, unsafe set which ultimately got one person killed. He should be held responsible for that.

For someone not that familiar with this case, I mean I know the story but what are your thoughts on his guilt, is he guilty or not ? And what is he looking at if found guilty ? Truthfully from what I do know and have seen it’s seems like he’s hiding what really happened.

Runkle says it's more than 70% chance of acquittal because the reliance defense they will lean on most heavily is persuasive and helps take what would normally be obvious reckless behavior and shifts it more into what someone would reasonably expect on set.
Max is 18 months and there is little chance of that sentence being imposed.

@@_Hack79 the three primary prople in the chain: 1) Guttierez got 18mos for putting the live round in the chamber. 2) Halls got supervised release with no time served for a guilty plea for taking the gun from the prop cart, declaring it 'cold' and handing it to Alec without doing any safety checks. 3) Baldwin currently on trial. I'm not seeing more than 90 days unless the judge is really annoyed by the self-serving publicity interviews.

So....women aren't allowed to do what they want to make THEMSELVES feel beautiful to themselves? Not all cosmetic procedures are for the benefit of men you know. A lot of the time it's actually for women to feel beautiful to themselves. Sorry but not allowing a woman that you are with to do something SHE wants to do for HERSELF that isn't doing any harm to anyone is also a massive red flag.

Why are you so concerned over someone choosing to speak her mind from the perspective of someone that has been in an abusive relationship with someone that tried to control my every move? Because that is very much how OPs comment read to me, that he wants to control what women are and aren't allowed to do with their own bodies. I would not blame his acting and improv, but the work environment he created and his hiring skills, he wanted someone who would not intervene too much and let him have more freedom with the props…and that had a direct consequence. If you hire an apprentice for a safety job, YOU are putting your team at risk. She could have been the assistant to someone else, or do only props, not guns.
